hi frens.. today im 13dpo and took a hpt test.. i can see very very very very faint line here.. but my husband said no.. im sooooo confused now....what u all think? is it a BFP?

I had an FET day 6 (adv. blastocyte) transfer done March 9. I had Beta HCG done March 19 and it was only 18. I took a couple of HPT and they showed faint positive on the dipstick and pregnant on the digital. Do I still have a chance for a viable pregnancy? If not when would my period start as a miscarriage?

I was wondering if this will detect the hormone and give me a result earlier than a HPT? I actually took the test from the clear blue easy fertility monitior and the stick shows 2 dark blue lines. i took an early hpt from earlypregnancytests.com and i don't know if i see a line or if i am groing crazy. i think i am going crazy. should i do another hpt again today, if so, how long do i need to hold my urine and restrain from liquids? I am 9dpo and my lutuel phase isually 12 days.

Do you see a 2nd line on this hpt or is this an evap teasing me? In a summary I thought I had a chemical m/c but the bleeding was short & stopped, had some breast tenderness & what I thought was a FAINT bfp last nite, but the urine test in the ER was bfn...so idk I'm gonna get a beta Monday hopefully & was wondering if you ladies see a second line or is it an evap line?

period 5 days late and negative hpt

My last period was 12/21/2009 and my cycles are 31 days long.. they hav been coming on every month like clockwrk on the same day the 21st..but this month i didnt get AF i am now 5days late, i took a hpt last nite and it was a bfn..Is it too early...

i am 17dpo now and this is our 5th round of clomid, i took two tests this evening both same brand though the first one the line came up straight away and got a little more visable but still almost invisable pink, then the 2nd test done the same??? could they both be evap lines? or could it be low hCG because of testing at night?

I had 5 HPT come back positive within the alloted time. I was ecstatic about this and so I went to the doctor to have a blood test done and an ultrasound. I am overweight and so the doctor told me that she might not be able to pick anything up on the abdominal scan but her transvaginal probe was being repaired so she was probably not going to be able to see anything. She tried the abdominal and told me that she could not tell either way if I was pregnant. She then ordered blood work and the nurse called me back a few days later and all she said was "It came back negative."

I am really confused because I had so many positive HPT and then I got the negative blood. I still have not had a period and just missed my 3rd one. I still have pregnancy symptoms. I assumed I was beginning to m/c but I have not even so much as had a cramp. No spotting or anything.

Is it possible to get a false negative on a blood test? What should I do in my current situation? I do not have insurance and already spent 200 to have them tell me I am not pregnant based on my blood test.

HCG Levels at 13dpo

I have a question... I am currently 13 dpo and 14 days past the hcg trigger shot. I took a pregnancy test on Sunday and it was negative. I took another on Monday and it as positive. Faint but positive. I went for bloodwork and my hcg level came back as 10 (this was 10 or 11 dpo) and my progesterone was 43.70. I took another test yesterday an ept certainty digital and it said "pregnant". I took another first response this morning and it was positive but faint. Should I be concerned as to why my lines are faint? Does this mean my levels are not rising? The line shows up right away it's just not as dark as the control line. It's lighter but 100% there. The nurse at my RE office told me that I'm probably not even pregnant and it's the hcg shot still in my system making me get these false positives. But I would think the shot would be out of my system by now. Especially since on 9/10 dpo the test was negative. I'm worried and confused! Thanks so much in advance! I greatly appreciate it!

P.S. I went for more bloodwork today and my nurse said my levels need to at least double or triple, is this correct? What should my levels be for 4 weeks pregnant? Thanks!

Im dying here..I want to take a hpt but Im only 10 days after ovualtion. Could I take a test and get a positive if I am, or is it still to early? I don't know how much longer I can wait. I have signs that I could be, but Im trying not to get my hopes up!!!!!

Unclear Result on HPT?

Hi. I took a First Response (New-6 Day Early) HPT this afternoon and immediately got a pink line in the control, and a bright white line where the testing line should be. Does this mean that it could be a VERY VERY early positive result? Or is this a problem or dysfunction with the test that I took? I have never had this happen before. Thanks.

Hello all!

I am new here. I'm TTC since 13-14 months. This month what I did different was-- used Preseed. After I ovulated, I got some symptoms, those were different than any of my last cycles. On dpo 11 I got a faint line on aimstrip, dpo 12 (morning) FRER another faint line... later that day (dpo 12, evening) aimstrip another faint. & today morning $ store hpt (dpo 13) again faint line. I'm also feeling AF slight cramps, which is scaring me sooo much:(

What you think? Please share your experience and/or knowledge.

so I am 17DPO and 4 days late for AF I have regular 28 day cycles so this is very uncommon for me. I have very sore breasts have been experiencing nauseau and headaches since a week after ovulation. I have also had creamy white discgarge (no smell or itch/burn) since about the same time after ovulation...I took a HPT on Xmas eve (AF was due on XMas) and it was neg...I have been so tired latley...I could sleep all day!! I am waiting til a week after AF was due to retest...does anyone else have experience with a situation like this and what was the outcome...I have thought I was finally pregnant a few times but my AF was always on time....this seems different to me but I am trying my hardest not to think about it and just waiting for AF....Thank you and Baby Dust to all!!!

Hi Doctors! I would really appreciate your thoughts on this!

I had 2 follicles on cd16 measuring 24mm and 20mm... I had the hcg trigger shot and then the following day I had iui... I took clomid 100mg days 5-9. We had 11 million sperm with 91% motility. I had O pains pretty much all day long. On 12 dpo (which was Monday) I took a digital HPT and it said "not pregnant" Today is 14dpo and still no signs of AF. Usually I have some sort of spotting or pinkish discharge before she shows and I have had nothing so far. Is there a possibility I can still be pregnant even though my test on 12dpo came back negative? Is there a chance I didnt ovulate? I'm pretty sure I did O because I have been so moody and have had sore breasts and nipples. I talked to my dr.'s office this morning and they sent me for bloodwork to check my progesterone and hcg, but of course I wont get the results back until tomorrow and I have ZERO patience! What do you think? Thanks so much for your response! I greatly appreciate it!

How early can we expect implantation?

Im asking because im currently 7DPO and am experiencing nausea (to the point of vomiting). I have other symptoms, but i know they could all correlate with the increased progesterone after Ovulation. I am NOT taking progesterone supplements.

Could an embryo implant 5 days after O?? I guess that's the earliest it could be, or could i experience nausea due to implantation??

I am not sick, have no fever, so i know its not health related.

Going by this, what is the earliest i can take a HPT sensitive to 15miu?? Thanks!

I read on a question that you had responded to, Dr.Q, that digital and basic HPT (urine tests obviously) can have different sensitivity. Is this true even if they are both "Early Pregnancy Tests" of the same brand (1st Response)?

Clomid & Ovidrel Injections

Hi there

I got a BFP this month on 17dpo following this dosage:

150mg clomid days 3-5

10000 ovidrel trigger

5000 ovidrel booster days 3,5 and 7

On this treatment for a few months (had one chemical pregnancy on it before) and day 21 progesterone level this month was 60ng/dl. The other months it varied between 34 and 49.

On the day of my BFP I got blood tests done and the results of the progesterone were 1.9. I later started to bleed. Is it normal for progesterone to drop this quickly or should I be testing earlier so that I can get progesterone support?

How do I know when to test for pregnancy if I don't know when I ovulate?

I don't know the exact day my last period was except I know it was around the middle of October. I don't know how long my cycles are nor do I know when I ovulate. Do I have to wait until the middle of November to test or what? I'm TTC and I am dying to know if I'm pregnant!
