Off the birth control pill in Sept no period for 2 months

I was on YAZ for a year and went off of it Sept 10th. I got my regular period the 1st of Oct. I didn't get a period at all in Nov and now I am 4 days late in Dec. I have been experiencing some nausa, thick discharge, sharp pains in my side/ribcage area, and horrible heartburn, which I got about a month ago and have never had before. I took 2 HPTS last night and both had a very very faint line on them. I don't have insurance in the state that I live in, so I have to drive 4 hrs to see the dr. I would like to make sure if there is a good possibility of being pregnant first. Or is it just a result of coming off the pill?

Could this be a sign of pregnancy?

I was put on Progesterone to induce my period after not having it in almost 11 months. AF came 4 days after the last pill on August 31. I am now 5 DPO and experiencing heartburn and sore breasts. I am on BC although I have hardly been good about taking them. I was put on the BC pills to try and help get my system started before being put back on Clomid. Could these be signs I am pregnant? If I was, what is the harm that could happen to the fetus if I continue on the BC?

Heartburn and sensitivity

I hadn't had my period in almost 11 months so I was put on Progestin to induce my period. I finally got it on August 31st and had 9 days of a horrendous period. On the night of September 13th through the afternoon of the 14th, I had some light spotting. I have had heartburn for almost a week now and my nipples are so sensitive I don't like not wearing a bra even around the house because just brushing up with my shirt drives me crazy. I just don't know why I am having all these symptoms, they are similar to what I had when I was pregnant with my son, but too soon I thought. Plus I am on BC for 2 months to try and kick start my system for TTC before I go back on Clomid. Any ideas?

Zantac and Heart Flutters

hi ladies, i'm in my 3rd trimester and have raging heartburn... tums really doesn't cut it for me so when it gets intolerable, i'll take a zantac. the weird thing is that the last 2 times i took it, it made me feel really weird. the only way i can explain is that my heartrate went up periodically and i generally felt like crap in my stomach... kind of like a lead ball was sitting in there. i read online that zantac and those types of meds has some impact on the heart... but gosh, there's so much info on the net about everything. anyway, just wondered if anyone else felt this.

Measuring Bigger... What does it mean?

Hi Dr.Q and Ladies!

I'm hoping you can help me out with this. I had my 30 week appointment today. I'm 30 weeks pregnant today! And I am measuring over 31 weeks and the doctor said I have a big baby and said he weighs around 4 lbs. Does this mean anything? My expected due date is October 1st but I'm wondering since I am measuring bigger that maybe I will go a little sooner than that? Is it normal to be measuring larger? Thanks so much for your help!

Ohh, I also have been having horrible heartburn. Of course I forgot to mention this to my doctor when I was there. I dont get it during the day at all but it keeps me up at night. Is there anything I can do to prevent it? I dont think it matters what I eat because last night I ate a few graham crackers before bed and I didnt think you could get heartburn from graham crackers but lately I get it from anything I eat! Even water!

Heartburn is back and in full swing...

Okay... I was just bragging how I was lucky because I had such terrible heartburn early on... but it went away after I started taking a calcium - magnesium-zinc supplement. Well... it's back and in FULL SWING! I am miserable.

I just baught Zantac... but I prefer natural methods. Any idea what might help? Oh, drinking milk hasn't helped so something else if anyone knows.

Heartburn... Help!

Hi Dr.Q and Ladies,

I need some help! I'm 19w4d pregnant and the heartburn I am experiencing is out of control! No matter what I eat I always have it. It hits mostly at night and then I'm usually up 1-2 hours throughout the night trying to get rid of it. I even tried not eating anything after dinner and this doesnt seem to be helping. I have tried tums and those just arent cutting it. Is there anything else I can try? It's so uncomfortable and it's cutting into my sleeping! Which is not good and I am always tired! Also my back kills me throughout the night also. My poor hubby, all I do is moan and groan throughout the night. Anyone have any advice on back pain in bed and heartburn in bed? Thanks so much in advance :)

Can my iron pills be causing this heartburn?

Hi Dr.Q. For the last 3 weeks I have had wicked heartburn to a point where it feels like I am being stabbed in the chest. My doctor has me on a prenatal vitamin that contains 27mg of iron plus she is getting me to take two 300mg tablets of ferrous cluconate per day. A friend of mine told me that it is all this iron that is giving me heart burn. My last docs appointment they checked my iron levels and they were fine but the doctor put me on this because I am having twins. Could it be this that is giving me such awful heartburn?

Are Pepcid and Rolaids okay to take together during pregnancy?

My doctor has me taking Pepcid (OTC) for acid reflux, and most of the time it works.. but the past few days I've gotten really bad burning heartburn despite the Pepcid. Is it okay to chew a few rolaids too?
