What causes headaches and faster heart rate only during periods

Drs :

Is there any alarming reason why one experiences nagging headaches (does not go away even with the strongest of pills) a day before start of the period and continue for a day or two into the period? Along with slight anxiety and faster heart rate? Never have these outside of the period time and it happens every single month. My mother had the same thing but she had severe bleed and clot (later underwent hysterectomy) which is not the case with me. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

2 sacs update

Hello,

First let me explain my situation. I had an HSG June 30, 2008. When the finding came back, it showed I had some kind of blockage. However my tubes were open and clear. To confirm my doctor preformed a watersono on Tuesday, September 9,2008. I was then scheduled for surgery Friday, September 19, 2008. He removed what was causing the blockage. On Friday, September 26,2008 A/F came to visit. On Saturday, September 27, 2008 I was giving a prescription for Clomiphene Citrate 50 to be taken 2xs a day for a week. I reported back to the doctor on Saturday, October 4th, 2008 and was told I had 4 eggs. A follow up appointment on Tuesday October 7th 2008 showed I had 2-3 more eggs on the left. I received a prescription for Ovidrel Prefilled Syringe and Progesterone Suppositories. I was to inject myself at about 9pm that night. My IUI was scheduled for Thursday, October 9th 2008 @6:30am. I was also to start the progesterone suppositories that night. On Friday, October 10, 2008 I took a home pregnancy test (just because), it came back with 2 lines. One was lighter then the other. On Sunday, October 12, 2008 I took another home pregnancy test, and that also had 2 lines. I took another home pregnancy test on Tuesday, October 14th, 2008 and it came back negative. I'm now 7 days past my IUI now.I'm schedule to see my doctor on Saturday, October 25, 2008 to do a blood test to see if I’m actually pregnant.

I did 2 HPT's on 10/20/08 BFP's. Thought I was crazy and did 2 more on 10/21/08 BFP's. Still figuring I'm seeing things took another one 10/22/08..BFP....WOOHOO!!!!

11/01/08..2 SACS....WOOHOO!!!!

I'm currently 23DPIUI.

Here it is ladies.
Almost like ovulation but worse 8dpo

Hello

I was just wondering what this pain could have been.At first i got it dull on the right side then just as quick as it came i got it even worse on the left side.It lasted a couple seconds then went away.I know i ovulated on the 14 because i got the normal ovulation cramps i get and then the soreness for a couple of days after along with fertile cm.I took clomid this cycle for the first time also. And i have heart burn with slightly sore breast.Seriously should i be worried or is this normal on clomid?

Can I stop worrying (or at least worry less) now?

I had an ultrasound today, baby measured at 7 weeks 5 days with a heart rate of 168.

Am I right in thinking that the chances of miscarrying are quite a bit less now that we have seen a heartbeat?

Internet info seems mixed on this and some places say that the odds don't really decrease until a heartbeat is seen or heard at 10 or 12 weeks. I've had two miscarriages - both before 6 weeks - in the last year so I've been really anxious and would love some reassurance that we are really on track to actually HAVE this baby.

heart and clomid

i will start the clomid 50mg on tuesday. my doctor know that i have a heart problem. but my question is will i be a high risk pregnacy. i'v had one miscarge when i was 17 and then one from trama at 21 and then 3 months later another miscarge. at 23 is was told i have a heart problem, my heart beats to fast and i have a low pb. i ended up passing out twice and i hit my head both time's. the heart dr. said it was nerocardiasycopy. i have gone off of my meds for about a year now with no full blown episond. i'll get a light headed, dizzie, see spots, and my heart will race to about 124. then i'll just sit down for awile thill i feel better. so will this mean i'm high risk and will it hert the baby when i get pregnent.

Zantac and Heart Flutters

hi ladies, i'm in my 3rd trimester and have raging heartburn... tums really doesn't cut it for me so when it gets intolerable, i'll take a zantac. the weird thing is that the last 2 times i took it, it made me feel really weird. the only way i can explain is that my heartrate went up periodically and i generally felt like crap in my stomach... kind of like a lead ball was sitting in there. i read online that zantac and those types of meds has some impact on the heart... but gosh, there's so much info on the net about everything. anyway, just wondered if anyone else felt this.

Preparing For next cycle no 2ww

Well this has been a crazy month for me and dh.We have not been communicating much this month and we didn't BD on my OPK day 08/12 nor last night 08/13 so on to wait for AF not expecting any preggo this month being we missed the fertile window and I know we wasn't lucky enough to get preggo from BD on the morning of 08/10 so here we go again. I said I wanted to take a break from this but I find it very hard to just give up on something that means the world to me. I think in the end of it all its so worth the agony and wait for something so precious and beautiful! May God continue to carry me and my DH and cover us in his blood and guide us where he wants us to be and Good luck in advance to those of you that got your BFP and will get your BFP soon!!! ******HUGGS********

16 weeks and no movement

I am 16wks 2days and I'm still not feeling any fluttering movement. I have been laying on my back many times throughout the day just to see if I can feel anything, but baby just doesn't move! :( This is baby #2 so I know it's too early to feel kicks or anything like that, but shouldn't I at least be feeling something by now??? Thanks

heart beat monitor

When I was pregnant with my daughter I easily found her heartbeat at 8 weeks and 1 day using a doppler. I am now 8 weeks and 6 days pregnant with my 2nd child. I heard the heartbeat through an ultrasound a few weeks ago at the doctors offce, but can't find it with my doppler. Should I be concerned?

Dr Q question about whilte spot on u/S on babies heart?

Could a recent intake of milk cause this..and does this sound right what this doc has told me?

The babies look great but for baby A they have found a little white spot on U/S on her heart. The Maternal Fetal Specialist says that this signifies that there is calcium that is being deposited in her heart.(notice i said her) Now this is no need for alarm. He said that my blood work came back excellent when I did the NT testing. He said the possibility for me having a baby with a defect it way lower than other 27 year olds. He says that women my age have a 1 in 800 chance of having a baby with defect. He combined with the U/s and the initial blood work I have the risk of 1 in 4000. He also told me to remember that this is a screening test not a diagnostic test and that i could do an amnio but it the risk would not out weigh the possibility of having a baby with a defect. He also said that my chances 1 in 4000 are like if i were 10 year old having a baby..so he said they are super low..he also said that he sees no other signs of any defects such as thick neck folds, fluid in the ventricle of the brain or fluid on the spine. He said that 99.9 % of these cases that they see turn out to be nothing and clears on its own and attribute it to a problem that the mom or dad had when they were younger. As he said this i remember that when i was in elementary school i had a heart issue where i had to where a heart monitor for 2 weeks and it cleared up on its own. and he said that that is most likely what it is..and my mom said this also..She said that i had an irregular heart beat and a murmur but it cleared with age. My Dr did not notice it unitl i was about 10 during a school physical..So i am not too concerend about this we will have another u/s in 4 weeks..but the maternal fetal Dr is has reassured me and i go to one of the best if not the best high risk pregnancy practice in the richmond, va area. Oh and i had a question I recently started drinking a glass of milk a day and they did not see this on my last U/S do you think this could be what the calcium came from?
