Is it true that drinking a lot of water can help stabalize glucose levels?

My dad told me that drinking tons of water will help keep my glucose levels normal. (due to the gestational diabetes)

I've never heard anything like this before... is this something he heard thats not true.. or is there some truth in it?

Glucose Screen results are in... what happens now?

My doctor said that my "levels were elevated" after my 1 hour glucose screen. (I'm assuming that means my sugar levels)

I am going in tomorrow morning for my 3 hour glucose screen. What can I expect if my levels are still elevated?

I'm scared to death I'm going to have to test my blood sugar.. I don't think I have the guts to poke myself!!!
