Will I Ever Get Pregnant???

I am feeling very discouraged. I am seriosly wondering lately if it is part of God's plan for us to get pregnant? I am very fortunate that I do have children from my previous marriage...but that does not stop this overwhelming desire that I have to conceive one more time.

I had tubal reversal surgery in April, 2007 and have done several rounds of meds, etc. I only have 1 tube/1 ovary and I am 37. So I knew going in this was a possibility...but now that I am here. I am heartbroken.

We thought about doing a round of IVF (which would be a HUGE financial leap for us with the economy and my husband is laid off until March)...but I have heard si many stories about women doing IVF and STILL not getting pregnant...

The desire for a baby is overwhelming at times...

My family doc thinks I may be insulin resistant. I will be starting metformin soon, and going to do acupuncture. I have lost 14 pounds so far...

I am praying God will bless me one more time and let me have this joy with my husband...

I know this is more of a vent. But there are babies and pregnant women everywhere I look. Sometimes it's tough...

It seems that people who are not even trying to get pregnant are getting pregnant all around me. I had an aquaintance get pregnant with a guy she was cheating on her fiance (who lives in other country)with. Instead of owning up to her betrayal, she decided to get an abortion. She didn't want to have an abortion but she didn't want to admit to her fiance that she was not faithful to him and got pregnant by someone else. After stressing about this decision for about two weeks she misscaried the baby. I know another girl who was still sleeping with her ex boyfriend and she got pregnant, she plans to keep the child but they didn't plan on conceiving a child.

I'm just so tired of all of these people getting pregnant left and right and not even trying let alone not even wanting to keep the babies.

I stopped taking my B/C(femcon-fe) on Oct.26th(22days ago) the next day I got a light-med period for about 3-4days.We have been doing the duty about every day or every other day or every 2days since then.Is it too soon for me to become pregnant? When can I take a test? How long will it take for the B/C to be out of my system?

Do HPT'S eventually just not get any darker? Meaning you an test over and over but eventually there's a point where it's as dark as it will ever get?

Hi ladies!

I'm Rachel, and I'm new to the site. I'm 26, married to my wonderful husband Al for 5 months now, and living in Southern NH.

Al & I started to TTC our first baby back in January, and got pregnant on our very first try! Unfortunately, at my 12-week appt., they could not find a heartbeat, so they did an ultrasound and discovered that I had a blighted ovum - my egg was fertilized & implanted, but no embryo developed. I had to have a D&C the next day. We were completely devastated, and it took me a long time to feel OK again after that. But, we decided to start TTC again in June after we got married. Unfortunately, since the miscarriage, my cycle has been completely out of whack (32 days on month; 50 the next) so I met with my Dr. last week and he prescribed 50mg of Clomid starting CD3 and going to CD7 (which will be tomorrow - my last dose!) I *should* be ovulating about a week after that, and I go back November 12th to find out if the Clomid worked and I did indeed ovulate. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm getting myself a little nerved up about the Clomid; I haven't really had any side effects besides some slight bloating and a bit of anxiety...but this morning (prepare for TMI - so sorry!) I had some diarrhea going on, which freaked me out because I've read that can be a symptom if the Clomid causes OHSS (Ovarian HyperStimulation Syndrome). I haven't had it since, and I don't seem to have any other side effects associated with OHSS...but I'm so worried I'm going to be like, the 1 out of a hundred women that has these horrible reactions to Clomid! Ugh!

Anyway, I just thought I'd introduce myself, as this seems like a very friendly, informative site and I'd love to chat with other women going through what I am. :o) Baby dust to everyone!

Getting Pregnant

I found out in January that I have HPV. The year before I went and my pap test was normal, so I'm assuming I just got it. Me and my fiance though have been trying for about 2 years now honestly. We didn't really pay attention to ovulation days and all that until about 3 months ago. I just don't know if because I have HPV it's causing me to not be able to get pregnant because my doctor told me I should be able to. I'm not sure what the problem is, and I know he can have children because he already has one. So can you help me?

Well i recently found out that my body is attacking my thyroid like its a foreign body. My level of antibodies should be 9, but its 2000.

Could damage to my thyroid make it difficult to have another baby?

Also, do you know anything about thyroid meds and their safety in nursing or pregnancy? if not, its okay. I just thought i'd try to ask

ANOTHER question about darkness of BFPs

I am so sorry to ask yet another question. I am pregnant again after having a m/c 2 months ago, so I am a little on edge.

I took a hpt on 10dpo and had a bfp (really faint) and on 11, 12, & 13dpo (all really faint, but getting darker). Today (18dpo) I took another preg test because I wanted to see that nice big dark positive line. My beta's have been low, but rising appropriately. My last one was on Friday.

Today I took a test and it was almost lighter than they were at 15dpo :( Does that mean I am miscarrying?? I called my dr. but can't get a beta until tomorrow and results on Friday or Monday.

I am really concerned that I am going to have a m/c. I am a little crampy today but nothing extreme at all. My bbs hurt a little less today, but still hurt. I am also exhausted today, peeing all the time, hot flashes, etc.

I am so scared. I did drink a lot of water and juice today. Could that be part of the problem??? I am not bleeding or cramping baddly or anything. Please help. I will try really hard not to post more questions after this one!!!!

I have been on the Pill for 7 years non stop. I stopped taking the pill on 13th August, got my period 16th Aug - 20th Aug (5 days), had spotting/bleed 24th August, nausea and reflux 12th Sept, Negative pregnancy test 13th September and really sore nipples 16th Sept, they have calmed down a little now.

I have been reading alot in posts and alot of women have said they have had pregnancy systoms when coming off the pill and taken months to get pregnant, could this be what I am experiencing?

I had normal regular periods before starting the pill.

Ok so me and my bf have been trying to have a kid for a year now and we have not had any luck. We had sexy every other day of the month just to make sure we didnt miss my ovulating day. well anyways i started to think its cause we are both really unhealthy. I mean we never drink water or anything except pop. For a while now iv been drinking nothing but water. But i wanted to know if there is any tips for me. Should i go see a doctor about it??

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for over 2years now. And I have been to doctors they have checked everything. They said there is no reason why I am not getting pregant. The only concern I have is that I am not ovulating. What could we do cause we are really trying to get pregant????

Hey Dr.Q, I was just wandering what can prevent the sperm from fertilizing the egg. I know i had not ovulated last friday(21mm follicle size) we had sex thursday, sat, and sunday. I know i ovulated on 5 or 6am sunday morn(i cramp and usually spot 7 or 8 hrs later)went to doc and sure enough follicle was released. so we are waiting until friday 12dpo to test, but my RE said it may take another few days to show b/c you can implant that late, then you have to give 2 or 3 days to produce hcg. we have been preg. everytime based on me knowing my body but m/c, so hopefully i will get a BFP. I have always been curious thought how the sperm finds the egg and what can stop that frome happening if you know you timed it right? sorry i get so long winded.
