Can an ultrasound determine the gender at 14 weeks?

Ok Dr. Q or any other Dr on FT/ladies, I have an ultrasound scheduled at 14 weeks excatly and I wan tot know if that is too early to have the gender deterimined? I'm hoping they can tell me then,but I was wondering what's the earliest via ultrasound that one can find out the gender of the baby?

Also ladies I'd like to know if any of you found out at 14 weeks.

just ordered the intelligender test from www.intelligender.com and I'm wondering how accurate it really is? I know an ultrasound is more accurate, but I just want to know if any body has tried it or knew someone how tried it. This test is mostly for fun...I know,but they claim on their site that it's 90% effective. I'd like to think it's leigit, but I want to hear what you all think. Thanks!!! Oh & btw I decided not to do CVS this pregnancy so I won't know the gender till I have a U/S that shows it...ohh & also dh doesn't want to know what the gender is, but I really do, since I have been having dreams about it lately lol!!!

So my big 20w ultrasound is Monday on the 17th.. Which I will only be 19w2d. I had a regular checkup yesterday and convinced the Dr to take a peek at the gender.. She did and at 18w2d she said "I think its a girl.. Theres no testes but its early for that but not the classic "hamburger" 3 lines that indicates girl"... So I am confused.. Is is possible these pics are of a boy and they have not developed yet or by 18w should something be visible to indicate boy??

These are the 2 pics, the first is just a little nub, no boy parts, but no 3 lines either, and the second if you click on it to see it enlarged I think I can see the 3 slits but not certain if its the machine or the baby..

Ok so tomorrow is the day for me!! I go for a gender check tomorrow at 2. The babys heartbeat has stayed at 163bpm, and h/she is sitting right on my bladder. What do you think it might be?

PS...Please pray for me. Im worried when I shouldnt be. I have had 2 m/cs and I stay worried. I know the baby was just fine at 13 weeks because I heard the heartbeat. I will be 15 weeks tomorrow so hopefully everything is ok. Just please pray for me!!

...I haven't been on in a while but i am 18 weeks pregnant and we had and u/s yesterday. The baby was curled up on my right hand side but the tech said its a girl and pointed out 3 white dots. Is this accurate and if so what do they represent?

So if anyone does not know what the Shettles Method is, it is a way to ensure you have the gender you desire when trying to conceive.. To have a girl you should bd 2-3 before ovulation, since the girl sperm (x) is slower swimmers and live longer. So once you ovulate, the boy sperm will have already been there, and died off and the girls are all thats left..

To have a boy, BD on the day of ov. to see that the boys will get there first..

I was going to try this method this time and try for a girl, as I have 2 boys and know I conceive on day of +opk.. But, I believe I ovulated 2 days early (didn't test this time) based on other symptoms, cramping and "egg white" dishcharge, and the day after there was nothing... So I think we bd right on ov. day again which makes me think this baby (11 weeks today) is another boy...

My question is that did anyone out there have a girl and bd on ov day or if u think it was days before ov?? I know there is a 50/50 chance, but my husband has 3 boys and 0 girls.. So I think for some reason it would be harder for us to have a girl.. Does that sound crazy..

Ok so since the night I conceived I've been driving myself crazy about the sex of this baby,.. I am 10 weeks now and can't wait for when I'm 20 for my ultrasound... I've been looking on internet for wives tales and chinese charts (with my other 3 they were the exact opposite) but found a site, intelligender.com Seem to have tons of testimonials and actual magazines where they promote this product, but still I don't believe it.. As much as I want to get one of these, I am afraid it will tell me "girl" then at 20 weeks I go in, and ultrasound confirms "boy." So I was just wondering if anyone used one of these, and had it be accurate, or not?? This site claims to have a 90% accuracy rate.... What do you think??

my question is: I want to have twins but it doesnt run in my family at least i dont think so. I've heard that through IN VITRO its possible to have twins. I want to know whats the percentage of having twins with this procedure and more less the cost for it. Also is it possible to choose the gender?

OMG... I was just piddling around and I found this website called fortunebaby.com and they want you to pay 19.95 to find out the gender of your baby based on your and your partners bday and your due date. That is so insane. I wonder if people really fall for that!

read a book about gender selection that claims you should BD everyday from the end of AF to 48hrs before you ovulate to conceive. I know sperm can live a few days inside you, but after searching the chart gallery on a fertility site several times I can't find a single person who conceived that stopped having sex 48hrs before ovulation!

Is it possable? Have any of you do this?
