How to raise a man's FSH that has Azoospermia?

My husband was diagnosed with Azoospermia about a year and a half ago. He was also told that his FSH is so low it is almost none at all. We have been trying to get pregnant for almost 6 years and I am tired of all of the heartbreak. Before spending money that we don't have on fertility specialists I am wondering if there is even any treatments to raise that hormone in him since that seems to be the only issue with him after a full check up with the Urologist.

I checked out fine in the fertility department and so I am just praying there is something that can be done to raise this hormone so we can have the children that we desire more than anything else....

Does an estriadol level 0f 59 CD3 mean I have low egg quality

In May I had CD3 BW done and my level came back 2.4. I was on Clomid July-September and did CD3 BW October and my level came back 59. My RE wants to do another CD3 BW with next cycle. I am 32. If it is still high does this mean I can't do IVF?

If FSH & Estradiol levels are checked on CD2 can this give an incorrect result?

I went in for an IVF consultation and they went ahead and did my FSH and Estradiol test. When I had these done last year they were totally normal. This time my FSH was 10.2 and Estradiol was 45 (slightly elevated I was told). I am wondering if it is possible that the results could be incorrect since they were done on CD2?

Have there been success stories with FSH over 20?

I am 31 and my FSH is 22. I ovulate on my own every month and all of my other tests (including estradiol) have come back normal. We are attempting IVF with my own eggs in January. What are the chances I can still produce good eggs?

I have high FSH and low Estrogen levels....what does this mean?

I am 29, my partner is 49 and we have been trying for around 2 years with no success. I am booked into a fertility clinic on 8 December but wondered what you could tell me about the above?

I have been told that my pituitary gland is fine but that it is having to work overtime to attempt to get my ovaries to do 'something'. I have been told that these hormone levels indiciate either a lack of eggs or that my ovaries are not releasing them.

I have just received news that I have FSH levels of 21 on day 2 of my cycle.
High FSH Caused by Follistim?

My baseline FSH levels have always been in the 6-7 range.

This past cycle was my first time on injections (I used Follistim 112IU's for aprox 10 days) and it failed. My baseline bloodwork yesterday (cd3) showed my FSH to be at 12!!! E2 was low - I'm very shocked and scared. I'm only 22 years old and high FSH was never a problem. Doctor said this could be because I was using pure FSH earlier in the month which caused false elevation but I've never heard of this effecting Baseline results into the next month? Is my Doctor right or is it possible this is real? I don't see how I was fine just last month and now this.. Help?

My Journey with high FSH at 36 years old.

Hi ladies,

Here’s a little info about me and my story. I am 36 years old, and I’ve been married with my DH for 13 years. We were blessed with one son in 2002, and were planning on having more.

Unfortunately in 2003 I was sexually assaulted which did horrible things to me any DH for many years, so things were put on hold. Finally in late 2006 the horrible man was sentenced. And my DH and I started mending our marriage back together which took a sometime.

Last May 2008 we started ttc for another addition to our family for about a year. We had no luck, and went to my OBGYN on my day 3 in June 2009. My DH's stuff is was tested, and his stuff is perfect. My test came back. I have high FSH, so my OBGYN referred me to a RE. I really didn’t understand what that right off, so of course I started researching. I was devasted, and still am.

Since that appointment I have done one Clomid/IUI cycle which did not work. I was going to do another this month, but my FSH was too high 20. OMG!!! I could not believe it!!! Then I found out my AMF is only .039!!! OMG!!!! Will the bad news stop!!!?

My RE had me come in again for talk about other options, and what she road she would like for me to take. My next step is FSH/IUI, and I have only one shot. My next step is IVF after that. Money is already tight, so I’m not sure what we will do if it comes down to that. At least my RE has given me a little hope – my left ovary is not functioning at all. She believes that might be why I have high FSH and why I’m so low with my AMF, and my age is on my side. Please be right!

I am sooooo blessed to have one child – I know. I just hope it is in God’s plan that my DH and I can have another.

God Bless you all

*******************Baby Dust*****************

I have high FSH - The first month 13.7, second month 12.5 and third 20. All my other levels are good. The third month just about killed me.
How concerned should I be with a thin uterine lining?

I am 38 years old - DH and I have managed to get pregnant three times out of eight months of actually being able to successfully time intercourse. We miscarried once at 8.5 weeks and twice just before 6 weeks. Doctor diagnosed with a true LPD and we are now moving onto medicated IUI.

I have been on clomid for 6 months 50 mg and two months (including this cycle) at 100 mg. I am on my second month of IUI - last month was cancelled due to over responding (8 mature follicles over 22mm).

This month I've done 100 mg clomid CD5-9 and Repronex on CD6,8,10

Today is CD11. I had my first ultrasound this cycle and we have two dominant follicles at 15mm with three following closely behind. Very promising.

However. My uterine lining was only 1.3 mm. My doctor was very rushed today and I did not get a lot of opporunity to discuss this. He said he'd have preferred it over 1.5mm but thought we'd be okay. He prescribed me two more amps of repronex today and tomorrow to help with the lining.

My question: How concerned should I be with that lining number, and do I have until implantation to grow the lining (if there is a fertilized egg).... so if it's not 100% thick at the time of our trigger, will it continue to grow until menses?

What are Chances of Pregnancy with Amennorhea?

I am 27years old have been married for two years(2007). Although I wanted to have baby asap but because of my job and studies we had to wait. However, i stopped having periond in march, My last LMP was 10th feb 2009. I got an initial Pregnancy test, which was negative. The doctor gave me a progesterone shot but it did not work. I was not satisfied with this local Doctor. So I went to a specialized hospital in Seoul. They did some blood tests and found out that my FSH and LH levels were very low. The doctor Diagnosed secondary Amennorhea. He said that this may be a cause of over stess and apparently there is no cure for it.

That was killing me becuase it obviously reduced my chances of getting pregnant. I told the doctor that there is nothing more importnat in my life right now than having a baby. So he refered me to the fertility center. The Doctor in the fertility center told me that since I have stopped ovulating, so in order to conceive I have to be put on Overarian hyperstimulation.

I was first given oral contreceptive pills, due to which i got my period. On my 3rd day of period i started having IVF-M(150)[(FSH 150IU, LH150IU) of menotropin (USP).] The Doctor kept monitoring me through ultrasounds and on day-12 he was satisfied with the growth of follicles(3-4 measuring 18-19mm). Meanwhile my Husband also went through some tests and his semen morphology was found normal. The Dr. was very positive beacuse he was satisfied with the other factors e.g. my age, status of uterus and fallopian tubes. We underwent timed intercourse but it failed, I got my period on day-25(wrt LMP).

We went to the same procedure three times, but i always get my perion on day-25.

The doctor seems to be positive and not worried at all but i am loosing my hope with every cycle.

Can there be anything which my doctor might be missing, keeping in view that I am not naturally menstruating?

Please Help I want baby too!

Contemplating IVF after failed IUIs?

Hi girls. I'm 34 and just had my 2nd IUI. I had a chemical with the first IUI and a BFN for the 2nd. I have secondary infertility as I got pregnant with my son 3 yrs ago. I am heartbroken and just want a BFP and H&H 9 mos and thus am now contemplating IVF. I do have a high FSH (was 12 the only time it was tested) and was told that IVF had a better success rate for my condition. I did clomid, follistim, trigger and progesterone/estrace for first 2 IUIs. The 3rd if I choose that route would be all injections, no clomid.

So, I'm looking for help with this crazy decision. What things are you all out there contemplating or already contemplated? What lead you to do IVF? My dr likes to give IUIs 3 tries but I feel like I don't hear of many IUI success stories so I don't know if I want to "waste" another month. UGH this is so hard! Any stories, thoughts, etc are welcome and appreciated!
