insemination???

and when you answer my question it is important for you to know we are working with frozen sperm and it doesn't live for more than 48 hours in the most ideal situation.

Post Thaw Sperm Count

Dr. Q,

I just underwent my first iui. Sperm count was 47 million before freezing (and deemed "normal"), but today, the doctor said that the count was 10 million with 83% motility (post thaw). It's my understanding that the sperm count should be 20 million before an iui?? Is this a bad post thaw count? What do you like to see before doing an iui?

I ovulate regularly, but the doc. put me on clomid to increase our chances. I had a few folicles, with two (one on the right, and one on the left) measuring over 20mm. Do we have an average chance of conceiving this month?

Thanks for your help!
