Beta 130 on 12dpo...

What do you guys think? More than one in there? Or is it just a good strong healhty SINGLE bean? =) I've read so many posts from women with twins that had beta's above 120 after 12dpo, but then again there is no proof, I'm just so curious. I had 3 eggs... YIKES lol. I'll repost my next set of numbers. I hope they more than doubled!!

how can i ovulate if my follicles are not 2cm yet??

Hi Dr

I am so confused..i went to my appointment and had an u/s done (vaginal) the Dr said i had 3 eggs- 2 on my right side and one on my left side- my right side is my good side as i have no tube in the left. He said according to their size 1.6cm i believe they have to be 2cm before i ovulate so he told me more than likely in the next 3-4 days- than we did blood work...nurse called back to advise i did indeed ovulate a day or so ago...so now im very confused..wouldnt my follicles be too small than?? can someone help me understand this..also i am taking 50mg clomid...thanks

Jen's Journey- BFP =)

Been trying to have our first baby for 3 years as of October 2008. My husband is 24 and I am 23. We were best friends in high school, I've known him since I was 6 years old. We've been together 6 years on November 2nd =)

Been married for 3 years. Bought our first house a month before we got married. We are hard working and honest mid-west people. =)

After stopping birth conrtol pills I did not have a period for 13 months. Then once I got a period every month I tried naturally for a year, nothing. So I went to the Dr and found out I do not ovulate on my own (even though I get a period each month I fall into the 20% of women who get a false period but do not ovulate) I'm on clomid right now.

First round 50 mg- No ovulation.

Second round 50 mg- No ovulation, but on huge follicle at least. Progesterone level 0.8 on cd 25.

Third Round 100 mg- 3 mature follicles, ovulated cd 15.

Nov. 29th 2008- GOT MY BFP =)

I am very thankful for this site and I ♥ all you ladies for helping me along the way!

how does my doc know im about to ovulate?

i went for an u/s and b/w today cd10. i had two follicles..15 and 21mm. my nurse called me this afternoon and told me to take my trigger shot and come in for an iui in the morning. i asked her if that was enough time for my hcg to work...she says that with a follice that big and taking the trigger the follicle will rupture pretty fast.

dr q is this true? how does she know this? is this something that would have showed in my b/w?

thanks

Estrogen levels--what is normal & how important is it?

I had my CD10 scan yesterday. I took Femara 5mg on CD3-CD7, and Gonal-F 37.5 IU starting on CD7, and this will be my 2nd IUI. I have 2-3 follicles that are still maturing (13mm, 11mm, 9mm). My E2 was 86. This is my 3rd cycle w/ injections, and no one has ever mentioned my E2 level until now.

My RE said that E2 level actually better this time than ever, and that even when I had 5 mature follicles (last cycle), my E2 level was only in the 80 range. Because of this, she suspects that I had lower quality eggs in the previous cycle (which ended w/ a chemical preg).

My Gonal-F dose was lowered from 75 to 37.5 this cycle, and during the u/s my RE said thought that this was a mediocre cycle (w/ just 2 follicles), and that I should go back to the higher dose of Gonal-F. But, after she got my E2, she changed her tune and said that this is the best cycle I’ve ever had, and that I should stick w/ the 37.5 dose (even though it’s slow going).

Is Estrogen that important to a successful cycle? What is a ‘normal’ E2 level? Could this be part of my infertility problem?

Follicles

Hi, I am on my first cycle of clomid days 3-7, I am currently on cd 16 and I ovulated today. I had 3 mature follicles (2 on one side and 1 on the other) the big 2 were on the same side at 27 & 30mm and the other was 19mm (as of yesterday) and we had intercourse last night and I went in for post-coital and U/S today and all 3 were collapsed. Does this mean I O'd all 3?

Getting 'primed' from Gonal-F??

I'm starting my 3rd cycle with Gonal-F. I also take Femara. With my 1st cycle on Gonal-F, at 75 IU, I had just 1 mature follicle. The 2nd cycle I had 4 or 5 mature follicles, at the same dose (I also had an IUI, which was nearly canceled due to the # of follicles. Got BFP but was a chemical preg). So now it’s CD4 of my 3rd cycle, and my RE wants me to decrease the Gonal-F from 75 IU to 38.5 IU. She said that your body gets ‘primed’ and tends to have a better response with each cycle. Has anyone else found this to be true? I’m worried about getting a poor response at a lower dose, but I also don’t want to hyper-stimulate at the higher dose.

clomid and focille's

I have been on clomid 50 mg and 100 mg. this month is the fifth month of clomid, the first two were 50 mg and then two months of 100 mg and now after a months break from it all i am taking 100 mg again and trying an iui, each time i've been on the clomid i only have one focille (via ultrasound), i had a tubal pregancy march of 07 so I now only have my left side we are working with. so my question is should my doc up the dosage of clomid so that i get more than one follicle? i heard that chances of iui to work in better while on clomid but, that's if more than one follicle, three and even four follicles, but again there is no way for it to go anywhere. thanks so much hope you have some good advise!

To all the ladies who have used injectable follicle stimulation hormones. Please Help!

I have a question. When is the soonest that anyone has produced mature follicles. My first cycle where I conceived the twins was 10 days at 112.5 iu Gonal F. Now, I am on 112.5 iu Gonal F plus Menopur. On am on CD 7-treatment day 5. I have just went to the bathroom and have EWCV. I am nervous. The doc told me to schedule for Friday or Saturday. I just don't want to miss this. How much impact do you think the Menopur will have? Thanks in advance.

please help

Hi i know i ahve asked lots of questions in the past but i still have so many.

I went to see the specialist about my next treatment, they advised that my follicle are 1.2, 1.1, 1.0 (this is without treatment) and they stated that they think i should have ovulated but i ahve been testing everyday and i am not ovulating, they dont seem to be listening but im not ovulating. why is this? any ideas??

Hello many thanks in replying. I used opks from day 10 and im now over three weeks since last af and nothing.

I went to the hosp on friday and they gave me bad news that not everything has gone to plan and they are having to refer me back to my surgeon.

Apparently my follicles only grew from monday to friday to 1.3 so 0.1 increase! And my lining went from 8mm to 3.6mm with no AF or spotting! They dont have any more answers for me so will get the surgeon to reassess. Please doctor, is there an reason for this please? I am so upset x

can ANYONE Dr or not, answer this??

Attention any Dr. or anyone with experience with follicles/ ovulation...

Can you answer a question for me, to the best of your ability. I haven't had this question answered yet and I'm very curious.

I was put on clomid for the first time this month. CD3-7 @ 50 mg by my OBGYN in order to make me ovulate since I've been ttc for 3 years.

I've had BW u/s and other tests done, everything come back OK the reason I can't conceive is thought to be non ovulation due to my irregular cycles (mostly long, around 30-34 days sometimes short though around 16 days, overall very irregular)

I went in for my CD12 u/s and I had follicles in each ovary however my Dr said they were small for CD12 (all ranging under 1 cm) He said given the sizes of my follicles I most likely will not ovulate this cycle.

My question is: Is it possible that I will still Ovulate this cycle given the fact that clomid makes some womens cycles longer and makes them ovulate later than ususal? Normally my cycles average at 31 days without clomid. Is it possible that I am just a late ovulater and my follicles were so small on cd 12 b/c I may not ovulate until around cd 20? I guess what Im asking is, even though my follicles were less than 1 cm on cd 12 is it possible they could still keep maturing and I could just ovulate later due to that?

Im sure my Dr expected me to ovulate around cd 14 or 15, and if thats the case then of course my follicles werent big enough yet.

I need to know if you know any information on how fast follicles can grow or mature and if you think in 7-9 days then can grow another cm to reach 2 cm and allow me ovulate?

I appreciate ANY comment or information reguarding this, its a big concern of mine as I really hope this month on clomid was not a waste.

Thank you.
