101 fever prior to implantation?

Hi Doctor,

Would a 101.3 degree fever prior to implantation damage a blastocyst and/or prevent implantation? I had fever last night, with a cold, and now I'm worried. Thank you!

Hello,

I normally chart my temperature and my normal is 98.9-99.0 for trying to conceive purposes. for the past 6 days my temp has been 100.5-101.5. I dont feel sick liek i normally do when i have a fever. just a little fatigue but usually i feel this fatigue about 4-5 days before my period which is due in 4 days. I have sore boobs that started 2 weeks ago and have gotten slightly worse. my question: is this bad? can i be ovulating? or should i make a pcp appt asap.

After Hsg test...

I had my first hsg test done this morning at 9am. And I felt cramps during the procedure, but was fine for about 2 hours afterwards. Then I started to get pain on my stomach(like period pain) and fever.

So.. After about 6 hours, doctor prescribed me antibiotics.

After 12 hours (now), I took paracetamol because of more pain. Crossing my fingers that nothing too serious is happening to me. I was warned of 3 negative symptoms before the test : 1. Smelly discharge 2. infection 3. too much bleeding. I guess mine is the second one..

Has anyone experienced fever after hsg test like me?

ovulation curiousity

I took the month off from clomid, and bbting. Out of stupidity, I ran out of opks. Since my cycles are pretty regular, I knew when to expect ovulation. I took my last opk on Friday and it was negative. Saturday had a lot of low back pain, and Sunday low abdominal cramping. Today, Monday, I was feverish and flushed all day and had annoying back cramping. I always have pms like symptoms around ovulation, but according to my symptoms, I was wondering which day you thought I may have ovulated? Opks help you predict 12 to 36 hours before, but which symptoms are most likely the "jackpot"? Thanks for you help

I took the month off from clomid and temping. I ran out of opks on Friday.(Friday was -). I had low back pains on Saturday, and low abdominal pains on Sunday. Today, (Monday) I was feverish and flushed feeling all day and had a lot of back cramping. I almost always get crampy and pms like symptoms about the time I ovulate. My question is one out of curiousity. Which day did I most likely ovulate?

Ladies..what is considered as fever in babies

I took the baby's temperature today coz she was feeling warmer than usual. I use the Red Cross brand from BabiesRUs and its an underarm thermometer. It said 98.4, 98.3 and then 97.9 F various times of the day. My mom tells me to add 1 deg F to these numbers. Is that true? My Dr told me to call her if it goes beyond 100 F.

Should I add 1 deg F or not? I know for adults 98.4 F is normal. can I assume the same for babies?

Implatation fever?

Weirdest thing happened today...

I'm 9 or 10dpo. Today out of the blue, I got really hot. My body/ face was burning up and I had chills. My body was aching too. My temp was only 98.7. I didn't take anything for it.

During this hot session I had a bad backache. Like AF type backache.4-5 hours later my body is not aching and I don't have the chills anymore. My face still feels hot but not as hot as earlier.

Is there such thing as implantation fever? Has anyone had this happen to them?

Implantation Fever?

Hello Dr Q & Ladies,

Throughout my 3 years of TTC, I have developed a fever right at 7DPO. This has happened several times when I time BD perfectly....that's why I think it's an implantation fever. Why does this happen? Is it possible that the progesterone sky-rockets & that's why my temp goes way up to 99.7 - 100. It's high enough to make my bones ache & feel chills throughout my body. Have you ever seen this before? What could be the reason. I really do not believe it is a virus. I have not been sick in ages. This fever will not last more than a day or two.

Please help.

Ok then! I tell him to do it anyway even though I'm scared that his motility turns out to be low again!
Food poisoning

Last night I came down with a case of food poisoning due, I think, to some dodgy chicken. I spent the small hours of the morning vomiting and with some diarhhea. I've also been left with a fever of 38.1c (just over 100F). I'm on my way to the doctor now to make sure it isn't a bacterial infection or something, but what are you views on this...could I have done damage to potentially developing embryos with the vomiting and fever?

TTC for 1 year

I have a reg 27 day cycle & been ttc for 1 year now. My hormones have been checked & they are all normal.

There has been an odd thing happening about 5 times now. About a week before my expected period, I get elevated temperature of 99-101 & like a low-grade fever, I am practically bedridden for 2 days with this miserable fever. Then really bad pelvic cramping followed by my period that arrives a week early.

I have my own theory about this, but I would like your professional opinion.

Thank you for your time,

Natalia
