How long does sperm live?

Does anyone know how long sperm lives inside you? I use the Creigton Model and my husband and I had sex on day 18 and then I had fertile mucus (clear, stretchy) on day 20. Is it possible that the sperm may have survived until the fertile mucus was present? I'm know on day 53 with no period...I also have PCOS so its not unusual for me to go this long without a period so I haven't tested yet (and I have to take blood pregnancy tests and haven't gone to the doctor yet). Any opinions or thoughts would be appreciated!!

My question is I had fertile cm and now I am now on dpo19 and now af. So my question is did I have fertile cm and not actually ovulate or is that even possible? I did an hpt on dpo 16 and it was BFN. Any idea? I have PCOS and I have been taking Vitex while I am trying to find a new doctor. Thank you.

If my peak during ovulation is Wednesday but I'm fertile until Saturday and I have sex numerous times both Friday and Saturday, could I still get pregnant?

ok, i know a woman is fertile when the CM is like raw eggwhite, but my problem is when i BD, i leak all day because of the ejaculation (TMI, i know)so it resembles EW CM, and i cant tell if im fertile from my CM or not.

Ok so today Im CD27 10DPO. All my PMS and Preggo syptoms have gone away. Ive been having this lotion-like CM for about 2 days now. No BDing since CD24 so I know its not semen. What could it be? AF is usually due tomorrow but last month she was 5 days late. Any suggestions??? Im having this weird load in my lower abdomen everytime I sit I have to hold it up.

I want to start taking Fertile XX on the first day of my Period (which is due on September 5) would that be alright? Or should i rather not take the Fertile XX?

Also my Doctor said that I should wait just one cycle before trying again and I already did.

Could I get pregnant so soon after having my son? His birth date was 7/7/2008. Here is some backround:I have 3 other children. Ages 8,6 and 2. I am nursing my son on demand (about every 2 hours) My husband and I had unprotected sex a little before 3 weeks postpartum and every other day since then. I heard that women are more fertile right after birth is that true? Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

Well this has been a crazy month for me and dh.We have not been communicating much this month and we didn't BD on my OPK day 08/12 nor last night 08/13 so on to wait for AF not expecting any preggo this month being we missed the fertile window and I know we wasn't lucky enough to get preggo from BD on the morning of 08/10 so here we go again. I said I wanted to take a break from this but I find it very hard to just give up on something that means the world to me. I think in the end of it all its so worth the agony and wait for something so precious and beautiful! May God continue to carry me and my DH and cover us in his blood and guide us where he wants us to be and Good luck in advance to those of you that got your BFP and will get your BFP soon!!! ******HUGGS********

I have just got married and I am planning for babies. I want to know my fertility or ovlution days where i can try to have an intercourse and be able to conceive. I have periods after every 3 weeks and my friend has said that one cannot conceive every 7days before periods and 10days after periods.So, if I consider this there is only a few days or rather no day where I become fertile.Please explain me my doubts and tell me the ovlution time.In August I am having my periods from 11 can u tell me the ovlution time in this month.

I have been monitoring my mucous my last cycle and i noticed that i had creamy looking mucus that was the consistancy of skim milk. (very thin). then it went to EWCM then back to the creamy kind for the rest of the cycle.. is that normal?
