BFN after ivf!!!!

hi, girls i tested today with a pregnancy test in it was negative im so disapointed! my retreival was 11-18-08 and it was a 3 day trasfer i trasfer 11-21-08 i trasferd back 2 embryos both with 8 cells i dont know what happend. it was also my first ivf.i dont understand why it didnt work if they told me i had great chances cause im only 21 years idk why.

2nd ivf attempt cancelled, low e2

My first attempt i started with lupron and gonal. It was cancelled since my e2 was only 45. Second attempt was with vivelle patch to increase my e2. It was 110 and was asked to remove to start gonal at 225. After 7 days of 225cc and 3 days of luveris, my e2 was just 79 although i have numerous follies. what have others done to get their e2 to rise? I have my appt on monday but want to get feeback beforehand from others.

Delayed Menstrual After 2 failed IUI's

Can your menstrual cycle be delayed the month after you stop taking drugs for infertility? I was taking Menopur and Ovidrel for trigger. I am currently on CD 28 and have never made it past 26 without at least spotting. I took 2 HPT and they are negative. Is my menstrual somehow thrown off because I didnt' do any form of fertility treatments this month?

Reasons for failed IUI's?

This was my second IUI with injectibles and I took a test HPT today (2 weeks post IUI) and it is negative. I had three good follicles and took the ovidrel shot, so why does it fail every month?

What could be going wrong?

Do you think I should ask to increase my MG of Clomid?

I will be going back to my old Dr in a couple of weeks & I am about 90% sure that he will want me to try clomid again, this time with the trigger shot. This is what he & I discussed just before my last pregnancy & not much has changed so I do not see why he would suggest something else at this point.

I did do 2 rounds of clomid w/no trigger & absolutely no monitoring with my current Dr & obv there was no luck or I would not still be thinking about this, lol! Both rounds were at 50mgs, so I was wondering if I should ask him to up the dosage OR will the trigger shot make such a big difference in my chances that there would be no need to up it right away?

Just wanted some opinions as trying to get my ducks in a row before the apt so I don't forget anything-making myself a list!

i have secondary infertility 4rounds of clomin bfn,4 rounds of injectable iui bfn,1 ivf failed two 3day embryo transferred i have 2 blasts frozen i have afollow up with my re before the fet transfer should i consider any follow up test before the transfer i dont want to loose this chance i had aHSG my tubes were open i had saline sonogram no polyps i dont know what else to do any suggestions doc,please help i am desperate ....every single test we took came back normal we dont know why all this treatment failed i have 6 yr old who we concived imme ...

I am 26 TTC...I don't ovulate and I've been put on Clomid day 5-9 Checked my progesterone level on day 23-- I didn't oulate-- I'll try Clomid 100 and then Clomid 150 mg. What if this doesn't work either..what should be the next step?

Dear Dr.

Today i went to see my doc, as i did my first IUI in the month of july but result was negative .

Today for this cycle she gave me clomid 50 twice from Day3 to day7 and also she asked me to take Progyuton (white only) from Day 8 to Day 12 .Would like to know what is the benfit of taking progyuton.

She asked me to come on day13 also she is planning for an IUI this month.

Also if possible pl do let me know what would be the reason of geeting IUI negative which I done last time.

When i did IUI in the july my DH report was

pre wash-actively motile-50,sperm count 78m

Post wash -actively motile-90,sperm count 13.

he was on clomid 50 for 3 months.from july onwards as per doc advice stopped taking clomid50.

Pl help as we are now very much worried.

after 4 failed iui's we are going into IVF i have mild pcos i am 28 and my husband is 33 we already have a 6 yr old i was not ready for IVF but now we dont have achoice because my doc says i have about 60%chance with it so i am currently on b/c pills for 3 weeks and then start lupron is there anything i can do to be prepared i dont want this to fail i dont have the mind or energy to do it again and any advice friends ....would be very helpful .....my insurance covers the whole thing thats a huge relief ...

Failed IVF

I recently underwent my first IVF procedure. My husband and I have been tested and checked for every possible cause of infertility that we know of and the docs never found anything wrong with either one of us. So our fertility doc suggested IVF, so we did. Throughout the whole cycle before removing my eggs the doc said we were doing excellent, everything was going great. Then came the egg retrival that went fine. So next is the wait. The embrologist deposited my husbands sperm with my eggs and nothing happened. The sperm didn't go into the eggs, so the doc said that usually when that happens they can tell if it is a egg problem or a sperm problem, and he said that he can't tell either way, that it could be a little bit of both. What is that about?? It seems like everything they do doesn't work and they can't find out why. I am frustrated and would just like some other opinions.

Ok, so I did a IVF back in 05...it failed....the next month, we got pregnant on our own!!!! I now have a 2 year old son. I have PCOS, my hubby has Strict Morph (2%, but his count is over 88Million). We have since done another fresh IVF (failed) and a round of IUI with Follistem. Now we are about to do a round of Clomid with IUI and sperm washing. I just cant get it out of my head that we conceived on our own, so I dont think IVF will work but the drugs may? Any ideas? Or shoudl we not even bother?

I am 28 and my husband is 32. We've been TTC for 14 months now. All of our tests came back great so we're in the "unexplained" category. My husband has a 12 yr old son who lives with us so I am a full time mom but I crave to know what it's like to have a child of my own.

I have been regular since the day I started my period. I've always been between 27-29 days so ovulation is not a problem. I haven't been on birth control for at least 4 years so that's not the problem either. We did our first iui and just found out 3 days ago that it didn't work. I've responded great to Clomid with 3-4 follicles everytime. The first round of Clomid we had to cancel the iui because my husband was really sick. Then we had to sit a month out because they found out that I was immune to Rubella and had to get that shot and sit out the whole cycle. So first round was in May, 2nd in June (Rubella shot so nothing), 3rd round - IUI - failed.

So here we are starting our 4 month and hopefully there are no set backs. I had my baseline u/s yesterday and got the go ahead to start the Clomid again. Hopefully we'll be doing another iui on August 1st. That's all for now. I'll keep you posted!!

Hi, I have another quick question, We are not goign to use the frozen yet fo r afew months, but I feel like I am wasting my months away. (we havent tried medically in a year). I am 30 already and am on metformin, and my hubby is 2% strict morph. Any idea if it would be wise to throw a cycle of metformin and clomid? We got pregnant myserically after a failed IVF. (not sure if it was from the drugs) so that leaves me some hope that it could happen without IVF. Again, I am 30 woth PCOS (and not overweight). your ideas would be SOO helpful!

endometriosis and failed ivf

Hi dr... i tried ivf because of pelvic adhesions discovered during a lap for ectopic pg and had bad embryo quality both times. We're not ready for an egg donor (i'm 35), but with an endometrioma on left ovary and an ectopic pg removed from right tube, i'm wondering what to do. Why the bad embryo quality with ivf but not with the embryo that developed into the ectopic? Also, with the ectopic we conceived right away,(maybe 2 or 3 cycles).

Hi there, this was my 1st month of clomid. The foil on th packet said clomid 50g, but my docs instructions said to take two pills a day cd 2-6. Does this mean I took 100g, or do you think each pill was 25g so I took 50g? So far on CD23 I have not ovulated. I am going back to the dr on July 1st and I want to ask her to increase my dose, so I would like to know what dosage I actually took. Not sure if the pills were 50g or 25g each..!

After a failed IUI last month.I'm giving it a rest this month(May), n in June my DH will be away so i'll be going for the second IUI in July. I tried women's tonic capsules this month.it was not recommended by Dr. I bought it from a herbal store..this capsules contains many raw herbs.I took it for 10 days(today is the last day) after my period finished.Meanwhile i also kept on trying to conceive. But while i was taking the capsules i had a very light pink discharge. and sometimes light brown. just spotting. I dont know what this means n i'm habing cramps too n a little breakout in my face. Usually i have these when i'm having my period but my period came on 4th of this month and has already ended. so what might it mean?? I'm really confused.

hai doc this ismy first time to this site i am 28 and have been trying fr 2 yrs me and my husband tested normal so went to see a re she put me on follistim and did iuis but nothing worked this my 4 iui when can i take a hpt after my dpo and after how many iuis can i think of IVF my tubes are open no probs with my dh sperm my ovaries are fine my dh is 33 ...pls help
