For the past 2 days I have been getting a combination of gloopy, somewhat thick, stretchy EWCM tinged with lotion-y white. Is this good fertile quality or might it be too thick for sperm?

Ok I tested at 10:00am on CD14(08/11/08) it was negative and tested again this morning at 6:00am and it was +OPK. It is possible I would have gotten a +OPK late last night if I would have tested? The reason for this question is that the test states after detecting LH surge within 24-48hrs ovulation occurs so I want to ensure I don't miss my fertile window. We BD on 08/10 early in the morning using the preseed and we are going to BD tonight and tomorrow night, so what do you think anyone??? Doctors??? I started testing on CD12 and didnt get the + until this morning..crazy and confused....help and my CM was so egg white stetchy than ever before..I never seen it so stretchy and gooky(lol)sorry if TMI......

I don't post much lately...Have taken a bit of a haitus from ttc...no meds, no peeing on anything, just some baby dancing here and there and working on a few things...

Anyway, is there a rule of thumb about how long you ovulate after you have ewcm? Just wondering.

Hi, first, i am new here. I have been looking for someplace to get support and to encourage others but haven't really found the place yet. Hopefully this is it! You all seem so nice from your other posts!

I have a question. Here is my story. My husband and I started trying to get pregnant (thinking it would take a while) last month. We got pregnant right away:) We found out, told everyone we knew, and then miscarried 4 days later :( . We thought it was ok to start trying right away so I stopped bleeding 6 days after the miscarriage (I was only 5 weeks along and no D&C). We dried on day 6, 8, 10, & 12. I typically ovulate on day 15ish but who knows with the miscarriage.

I went to the Dr. for my follow up on the 4th which was day 16. He said that he really wanted us to wait until I had a normal cycle to start trying again so we totally backed off and decided not to try this month but to wait a month. He also said that it looked like I might be ovulating.

So my question is this (sorry this is getting so long). My husband and I have been tracking my cycles for some time (we always did natural family planning before TTC) and I watch my cervical mucus for signs of ovulation. I began with my fertile cervical mucus on day 13 of my cycle and today it is day 20 of my cycle and I STILL TOTALLY HAVE EWCM. What the heck? I NEVER have it more than one day after I ovulate. I have never had it this long, for sure! Why on earth would I have fertile CM for so long? Is this normal after a miscarriage? I just have no idea what is going on.

At the Dr. all of my tests were completely normal and my HCG was back to 0. The highest it ever got was 30.

I am sorry this got so long, but I am just so confused with the whole cm thing and I am really hoping some of you great people can help me out.

No EWCM 24 hours after trigger

I gave myself the trigger shot 24 hours ago. I do not have any EWCM and my cervix seems as though it is still firm and closed. Is this normal?

Can I still ovulate and/or get pregnant without any EWCM and with my cervix closed? I am worried that I will not ovulate, even with the follistim and ovidrel. Is this possible?

The doc said that I don't need to get any bloodwork to see if I ovulated b/c the ovidrel will MAKE me ovulate. How will I know if I did/did not ovulate?

I have average 28 day cycles. I supposedly ovulated on the 25-26th of July, with period being the 12th. I expect my next period to be the 8th or 9th. Since the ovulation I've noticed white cm. Today it was white/clear and a little stringy while doing a few kegels to check my cm. What is this, surely it cant be ovulation this close to my period, right?

My LMP was 6/4/08 and had no BFP or AF... I thought I ovulated late or maybe skipped a month.

Anyhow 7/24/08 I started spotting like a VERY VERY LIGHT period, barely used two pantyliners, but it completely stopped 7/28/08. Period was very light hardly any close to no clots and mainly only noticeable when I wiped.

The days I had intercourse were 6/23, 6/24, & 6/30.

After the bleeding on 7/31, I started feeling ovulation pain and had EWCM for that day only and so hubby and I BD'd but not am having very water discharge, somtimes I feel like I pee'd on myself.

What could the bleeding be and is it normal to have a lot of discharge for this long??

I am like 2 dpo(I know I ovulated because of the obvious tempature shift,O pains,ewcm) anyways I just went to the bathroom and there was ewcm like cloudy ewcm. Am I wrong about my ovulation date?

Hi Doc,

Sorry to post so many questions, but I'm all confused!

I took Clomid days 3-7 of this cycle, had some sticky yellow CM on day 13 and some EWCM on day 14 and 15 so I thought ovulation proabably happened around day 14 or 15.

But then days 18 and 19 I had some pink and brown discharge (which you said didn't really mean anything one way or the other) and now on day 21 I have GOBS of EWCM - more than I have ever seen before in my life.

So what gives? Could I be ovulating now even though I finished the Clomid two weeks ago? Is there some other explanation?

Ok so ive just recently stated tracking CM as weve been trying for a baby for 13months now.

According to mymonthlycycles.com i Ovulate Tommorow but i was fertile since saturday.

This is my 1st month tracking Cm and i have noticed that im stil 'Dry' after my period. I have no CM let alone the EWCM im supposed to have around ovulation.

Do you think im not ovulating? Or could it be that i ovulate later?

I have a 27day cycle and im on CD13.

Please anyone help.

for the past 2 days i have been feeling very wet down there and when i go to check it's ALMOST like egg white, but not quite there yet. So if i have been feeling this way for the past 2 days when do u think i will O? I know i have not felt this "moist" since last cycle. Im not temping or charting either..

Im monitoring my fertility w/ my clearblue easy fertility monitor. I finally got a high fertility bar on CD 15 and today on CD 16. I went to check my CM and i found that im very moist and it's slippery and a little stretchy. I didin't have this CM yesterday when i checked. SO what does this mean? Will i be Oing here in a few days? How long can u get EWCM before u actually O? Is it a good sign that i have it? sorry to swamp u in questions. Thanks for answering in advance.

well on july 3rd and 4th i had spotting then on the 5th had a clot of blood with out cramps and then the bleeding stopped and then on the 6th and 7th had spotting then that went away i also i had a big glob of stretchy ewcm and have been having increased cm. I took two tests and they came out negitive I am still having all the symptoms and was wondering if i tested to early. is egg released in every ovulation,if the texture of the cervical fluid is chaning does it mean egg has been released during ovulation or its not necessary, fluid texture may just change even without the release of eggs.

I have been monitoring my mucous my last cycle and i noticed that i had creamy looking mucus that was the consistancy of skim milk. (very thin). then it went to EWCM then back to the creamy kind for the rest of the cycle.. is that normal?
