Hi doctor! I was just wondering if a similiar CM as EWCM is common in early pregnancy? I am 7 weeks today. I was just wanting to know if I should contact my OB or not?

I wanted to ask that I do not have periods due to weight loss so have to take provera . Durying the month I get thick white discharge usually in the monrning and sometimes a little sticky! It is def not thrush so what can it be,thanks

Hi there,i don't seem to get egg-white consistency cervical mucus before ovulation due to PCOS, just watery, lotiony mucus. Does robitussin help with ervical mucus? Thankyou

is egg released in every ovulation,if the texture of the cervical fluid is chaning does it mean egg has been released during ovulation or its not necessary, fluid texture may just change even without the release of eggs.

How common is having all your CM dried up from clomid? I think that has happened to me... I used to have a ton and now not anymore. Also how common is it that it causes a hostile environment?? I would hate to take clomid to help with trying to concieve and then developing more problems because of the clomid... 6dpiui and still waiting but am not optimistic. I was just doing some reading and now I'm worried and we are going to have to try naturally for awhile after this as we need to save some more money.

Is there any way to tell if I'm ovulating other than the predictor test. My period never comes the same time each month. Last month it was 34 days and the one before that was 32.

I'm cd23 and 12dpo. Why am I still having creamy white cm/discharge? (sorry tmi) Anything to worry about? Also I'm having hard flutters that run from my stomach to my chest, can the 2 be connected?

I Ovulated last night according to OPK, but I have a problem w/ CM and even more so sense I've been on clomid. My question is, can we still conceive even tho CM is very little? If so what are my chances compared to if I had applicable CM?

MY MENSE HASN'T BEE REGULAR SINCE JULY OF 07. SO IT'S HARD TO PREDICT WHEN I'M OVULATING. MY CYCLES SEEM TO COME EVRY 34-56 DAYS IN LENGTH. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE TRYING TO CONCIEVE.

MY LAST MENSE WAS DECEMBER 16 TH OF 07 I HAD BLEEDING ON THE 5TH, 6TH, 7TH. I DON'T REALLY KNOW IF IT WAS A CYCLE OR NOT. WHEN I'M LATE I GO FROM LIGHT TO HEAVY, BUT THIS TIME I SPOTTED, BRWONISH/PINKISH, THEN DARK RED. BY THE 9TH OF FEB8TH OF FEB IT COMPLETLY WENT AWAY, SO I THOUGHT I'D WAIT IT OUT UNTIL NEXT CYCLE.

I am 1 DPO. Is it normal to have alot of CM. Its no EWCM just creamy/watery. Sorry I hope this is not to much info. I had a temp spike on the 8,9,10 tested and I got a +opk. BD on 7th and 10th.

Question about CM and ovulation

Hi Dr. Q,

Does sticky, clear-whitish CM mean I've already ovulated? My cervix is still high and open, but I'm noticing this morning that my CM is a bit sticky and not very stretchy, a bit lotion-like. Also, if it means anything, I had some mild cramping last night. Do you think these signs point to ovulation last night/early this morning? Does CM change right away, or does it take a day or so?

My lmp was on Jan. 10 (though I spotted on Jan. 9).

Well I am confused right now. Can anyone help? I am on cd9 and am on day 5 of gonal f. The past 2 days I have had so much cm. It was very gewey and stretchy and almost like ewcm. Today though it is very slimey and wet not stretchy anymore. Shouldnt it be getting stretchier instead of wetter and slimier?? Sorry for this topic I am just confused. Thanks for your help!

Hi Dr Q- Sorry if this is too much info- but I need to know..I read all these posts about egg white CM and and abundance of CM around Ovulation time- my DH and I have TTC for 10 months nothing- I know we can have children because we have a 2 yr old..since we are having diff. we chart, and use OPK's, but I never see EWCM, I generally have sticky, cloudy CM or none at all. I have had all the preliminay blood tests done by my RE and everything is coming back fine- we just ordered pre seed..do you need to have visible EWCM in order to get pregnant? if so what should i do to make it happen?? ( we had no problems w/ # 1 and bever even charted so I can't even remember if this was an issue before)
