Is it safe to have sex when using Endometrin?

Is it safe to have sex when using Endometrin? Does this quickly dissolve or do I need to "wait" before having intercourse?

I just don't want intercourse to interfere with the meds. I'm only 4dpiui and on 2 tablets/day.

Thanks!!

will lining thicken after ovulation? What does endometrin do?

At cd 12 I had an u/s and lining was 6mm. Took ovidrel shot right then, and o'd 36 hours later. Would that lining thicken at all after u/s? I am also on endometrin (progesterone) supplements. What does that do?

Stopping Endometrin

I will be at 10 weeks this Sunday. My doctor told me to stop the Endometrin (progesterone suppositories) now. She did not test me again to check the levels, and I have not had an U/S for about 2 1/2 weeks. I have low progesterone, and am wondering if this is too early to stop.

Doesn't the placenta "kick in" at 12 weeks? Should I be on the suppositories until then, or is it safe to trust the doctor and stop?

Just looking for some tips, advice, information, or other peoples journeys with this.

TTC One Year Anniversary

Wow. Has it been a year already? Excuse me while I stew in self loathing.

I managed to finagle a pregnancy in Feb of '08... but it was fleeing and lost it in March. After copious amounts of testing, it was determined that I dont make enough progesterone. Its incredible what a simple blood test might have shown in those early days, eh? Maybe I'd be 9 months pregnant right now.

Since then, I've tried to get knocked up again... only hubby was on some anti-anxiety medication and couldnt respond. Fun.

I was doing all the work, plus on endometrin. After a few months of trying in vain to get some kind of something going, and looking like a pizza from the progesterone, I gave up.

Now, I find myself 8 days late and with a neg blood test and 4 neg hpts. I am livid. I hate my body. I hate science, and all I want in life is to go back to when having a child wasnt the #1 goal in my life.

Hubby has taken himself off of the medication that so tortured our baby making efforts... meanwhile I am understandably blase about the whole endeavor. My goal right now? Bleed again.

2 days late, still neg

I even did cervical checks, and there is nothing to be had. I feel nauseated, my breasts are huge and tingle and my face has exploded. Yes, you guys can tell me that those are pms symptoms all you want, but those are not my pms symptoms. this is the exact same as I felt the first time i was susbtantially pregnant.

problem though? i'm now out of endometrin. I'm supposed to keep taking it if I'm pregnant, of course... but I have no clue. Would my doctor give me a 24/hr blood test? Is it the endometrin thats screwing around with my clockwork cycle?
