Could having sex without ejaculation for 5 days in a row before a sperm analysis hurt the results?

My dh had a s/a as you know and he held it for 5 and a half days before having it done and we had sex everyday while he was holding it but he didn't ejaculate at all any of those times. Could this have hurt his results?

My husband and I have 2 children and had no problems getting pregnant. We've been trying for #3 for the last 6 months. My husband has had difficulty maintaining an erection and/or ejaculating at the most inopportune times of the month. He's 39 and I'm 33. It is now a self confidence thing that has become very stressful for both of us. I'm trying to be supportive, but waiting for the very short window during ovulation just to have it pass without any real chance of conception is making me a little crazy. I can't even talk to him about my frustration because he would feel even more pressure to "perform." I know that meds like Viagra help to achieve and maintain an erection, but does it help or inhibit the ability to ejaculate? Also, under normal circumstances, how long do Viagra erections last? The commercials have me paranoid that I'm going to have to BD for 4 hours! Do we need a sex therapist?

Pregnancy from Pre-ejaculation

Im 24, and my bf and I woke up in the middle of the night "in the mood". This just happened on the evening/morning of the 25-26. It didn't last long bc we decided to stop for certain reasons and he never ejaculated. I started my last period on the 12th of september, so I know my ovulation days are anywhere between the 25-27 give or take a few days. He didn't ejaculate and it didn't really seem like he had pre-ejaculation.

I usually have fairly normal periods, so my cycle is anywhere from 28-32 days. What are the chances of becoming pregnant?

Hi Dr. Q and Ladies!

My husband has not ejaculated in about a week now. (Been pretty busy with upper level college classes) We are expecting an LH surge on the OPK today or tomorrow. Should we try today, or tomorrow, or wait 2 days after ejaculation? This is not for IUI or IVF. Thanks

Husband has type 2 diabetes and after much research on my part I believe he is having retrogade ejaculation, family doctor keeps telling us its just stress but we are no more stressed now than we were before we became pregnant with our son prior to his diabetes. The question is what type of doctor should we consult to help us figure all this out? Is there ways of retrieving sperm from the bladder if this is happening? Is it possible for us to conceive even with very little semen upon ejaculation? Thank you for your time, it is appreciated :)

Hi! My husband and I have been TTC since Feb 08. He is 39 and I am 24. Sometimes if we bd many times in days close together he feels like not much comes out. Is this normal? Does it matter how much fluid is produced?

Also, since he is 39, should we go ahead and have him checked out by a doc for these issues? Or does this sound normal for men? We were not sure if this will affect our chances or not.

Hi there I have a husband who has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes after having a serious illness (blastomycosis). We have a 2 year 5 month old son who was conceived prior to his illness with out any difficulties. We have been trying to conceive for the past 6 months and are not having any luck... He is not suffering from erectile dysfunction but does not always ejaculate... I have read about retrogade ejaculation a little...could this be afactor and is there anything we could try?

I'm on CD13. I'm checking when I will be ovulating with the ovulating tests.two days ago and yesterday I saw a faint second line which I assumed that I'm not ovulating yet but I'm fertile(there is some level of Lh surge) + I'm having cramps(probably because of the ovulation coming).Two days ago my husband's sperm had been left on my vag.(and a little bit inside of beginning of vag.) but not deep inside.i don't know what to think? Is there any chance that I could become pregnant from this or not a chance.we not trying but we will be happy have another one.please ladies what do you think.

My question is we are TTC and was woundering and going to try to ask this the best with about geting you gross out.lol Ok dose it matter how much a man ejactlates to get a women pergent? Sometimes my husbands shoots alot then others time just very very little. I was woundering if this was normal and if he ejlites really small amounts can you still get pergent?

I was wondering if mt DH has good sperm and if I make him hold out from ejaculation how long will the "GOOD SPERM" last in his testicles? I have read that u should let him ejaculate every few days so that the sperm can replenish but I was thinking so not BDing until like 2 or 3 days until O so he would have alot of sperm. What do u think?

ok, since my dh's reversal his ejaculation is looking different. lastnight i REALLY noticed it. is it a good sign? it was A LOT whiter than it was before thr reversal. kinda thick looking? but def. had a lot more white in it.

IS IT BETTER TO HAVE MANY EJACUALTIONS,(LIKE TO CLEAN THE PIPES AND FINALLY GET HIS SPERM BACK) OR TO LET IT BUILD UP FOR A WHILE TO GET SPERM BACK IN YOUR EJACULATION AFTER A VASECTOMY REVERSAL??? WE'RE JUST ASKING THIS TO SEE WHAT IS THE BEST WAY (IF ANY) TO GET THE SWIMMERS BACK AFTER THE REVERSAL PROCEDURE.

I have read that if a man ejacualtes more then once while BDing during ovulation then it gets rid of the good sperm. Is this true or not? I am tring to find out since DH and I keep going after he has ejaculated the 1st time. I would hate to know that we got rid of the good sperm just to keep going.
