This one we caught real early but he's back on antibiotics for ten days. We are leaving for Disney Feb. 15th and what happens if he still has an ear infection then? First, rash all over his body, refusing the bottle, annoying dry cough, stuffy/runny nose and then he got his 1st tooth and now his 1st ear infection. I've never had a baby with an ear infection. He's on an antibiotic now 2x a day for 10 days. I have to push the fluids so he doesn't get dehydrated, so I can offer juice with water, or jello or even yogurt or watery cereal. No fever yet, thank goodness but he's def not feeling good. I'm so glad I took him in to the ped today. By mouth, ear, vaginaly (is that spelled right), or by rear. Because I get lower reading when I take my temp by the mouth. Higher readings by the vaginaly. With the vaginaly I'm way above the 98 and it increases but the mouth I'm not reaching 98 it is lower.
