How dangerous is brown spotting in week 7?

Hello Doctors and ladies!

I am at 7 wks and 2 days. Yesterday I woke up and had what I would call significant brown spotting/ dishcharge. It took a few wipes to get rid of the brown. Sorry tmi...

This is the second time this has happened. The first time about a week/ week and a half ago I got a little nervous and called my cousin who is also a nurse and she said she had it throughout her pregnancy and she was fine. She warned me to call my ob only if it got worse, was accompanied by cramping, or turned red. It did none of these, so I stopped worrying and abstained from sex for a couple days.

Now that I had the spotting again I got worried and called my ob and she ordered an ultrasound and blood work at the hospital. I went in yesterday and had both done and I must say I was very relieved to see that little tiny heartbeat. That's an amazing feeling I've never had before!

However, they said I might not hear results for a 2 to 3 days. What if there is a problem and they find it too late to do anything?

What do you guys think? Should I be concerned? Avoid or do anything in particular?

I took opk on 9/18 - 9/22 and they all were positive, now today i have started spotting brown pinkish mucus looking discharge sorry tmi..Has anyone ever experienced this plz i need advice....Thanx!!!

Ok sorry if its tmi but I dunno what this is.

I'm on cd 22 and we bd on cd 14, 17 & 20. Dunno when af is due because last month was 45 days and before that was 28 so not sure when ovulation is or was.

for the past few days I have noticed that the tp is slightly brown when i wipe and today after I orgasimed I noticed that there was actual brown cm after a few hours. DOes anyone know what this is?

Could it be implatation spotting?? Or just nothing? I've never had this before.

Can Clomid cause white clumpy white discharge?

I'm on Clomid 50mg for last 5 months. I'm having white clumpy cheese-like discharge, right around my ovulation time, which makes it impossible to detect fertile CM, off course. It doesn't have any unusual odors, no itching, just very annoying. At first, I was convinced it's some kind of BV, so I went to my gynecologist one week before my last period to do smears, and the results are all clean, according to my doctor. However, now that I am on 10th day of my period, the same discharge is appearing again. I am wondering if its connected to Clomid? I will go to repeat my smears again tomorrow.

I was on the progesterone vaginal insert version (Crinone 8%) not the shots after ivf. While i was on it, it would keep coming out throughout the day like in chunks (sorry tmi)and i heard that was normal, but the dr. told me i can stop it about 3 weeks ago which i did and still to this day it comes out. It looks like its that at least. Its really annoying bc. it makes me irritated sorta itchy bc. i have all this chunky cream coming out little by little. It doesnt happen ALL day everyday but enough. I wonder when will it stop? and if its still normal? TY

I am a mother of one and have been TTC for quite some time. Last month turned out to be a bust, go figure, this month i am having completely different syptoms...

3-4dpo-brown spotting

5dpo-spotting stops, small amount of brown tinged discharge

6-7dpo-nothing

8-10dpo-a few twinges, bloating, irratable, right armpit pain, legs and arms get tired after walking up tiny flight of stairs, flash headaches, clogged nose and throat

11dpo-bfn on first response mid-day.

11dpo-few hours later bd'd...cramps after big "o"... checked cp later on and glob of ewcm... looots(t.m.i)

wiped and small pink stripe on tp.

could it just be too early to test?

why do i have a smelly yellowish discharge and get terribly sore during sex although my family doctor could not find any infection?

I am pretty devastated by now because I just had a pap smear done by my family doctor and the results were fine and also a swap which results were fine too. But nevertheless my discharge smells a little bit off and is yellowish and also after having just a couple minutes of sex, I get horribly sore! So I am really conerned that I do have something that my doctor couldnt discover. I read about trichomonas for example and I was wondering if the lab could have overlooked something?? I mean i have to have something because i know how everything feels like when im completly healthy down there. usually i hardly ever get sore. my family doctor just sent me away and said its probably my hormons that cause the smell but i really dont think so. what should i do?

i asked for a referal to a gynecologist but my family doctor just said they deal with any kind of infections or SDIs.

I'm pregnant and I think I'm about 3 weeks post ovulation (I'm irregular so the pregnancy has not yet been dated). I've had blood drawn for 3 quant. HCG tests and the levels are rising so far (the first reading from Monday BW was 63, Wednesdays's reading was 186, and Friday's BW results are not in yet). Nausea and smell sensitivity aside I feel fine, but for the past 4 days I have had a lot of clear watery discharge, which for 3 of those days included a very slight brownish-red tinge for about half-hour or so in the afternoon (only present upon wiping). Today, the discharge has been totally clear but there's still enough that I have to wear a panty liner. What causes this?

i am having curd like discharge and not sure why. i use condoms when having sex and have been having a irritating/hurting feelings down there.

AF was suppose to arrive today, but for the last few days, some really weird things have been occuring with my body, that DON'T usually happen. Yesterday, I had some spotting. I never get spotting before my true period. The day I see blood, I get a full-on period with BAD cramping. I've had strange discharge for about a week now, and today I've felt like AF might start but not nearly as bad and then went from brownish-reddish discharge to yellowish to what looked like my period again. All of this happening, just after I wiped. What is going on with me. I took and HPT yesterday afternoon and got a BFN. I never have periods like this and am worried that something may be wrong. Could prenatal vitamins that I've taken for about a month now be causing abnormalities in my cycle? I'm scared I may have an issue but I can't go to the doctor because it's only been a couple of months. I'm thinking I may only be 10-12DPO. I don't know when and if I ovulated.

Brown stringy discharge/bleeding at cd24, is this a miscarriage?

Brown stringy discharge started today when wiping only day 24/25. My cycle is usually around 31 days. Never had a short cycle before. What could have caused this? Is it possible to be implantation or an daly miscarriage (had 2 before).

Is it normal to have discharge which feels like a wetness in your nickers. Possibility pregnant, have had a few other signs like feeling sick going to the loo often also smell of some foods make me sick.

hi guys!

firstly let me say this is a fantastic site, glad there are other ppl in the same situation. my partner and i are ttc, im due for period today, nothing as yet, for the last week or so have been lots of cm, soaking wet, sorry tmi! however today i have had some clear, with a brown tinge, thick stuff. i dodnt even know what to call it. its almost like rubber cement, very thick. what is this stuff? is it normal?

I'm only 12 weeks pregnant, but when I wiped this evening, I noticed a very thick, clear, stretchy "blob" of discharge on the toilet paper (kind of like rubber cement). It didn't have any blood in it and didn't smell like anything. I know you get a lot of discharge during pregnancy, but is this normal? Thanks for any advice!

Hi Doctor, i am started clomid on the 8-12 feb i ovulated on the 19th. the last couple of days i have experianced slightly sore breasts and white creamy discharge is this a side affect of clomid or could it be a pregency sign?

Hi im new to this site. I have been searching the net looking for answers and this am decided i should just ask for some help.

Right this is my situation. I have pcos and do not ovulate on my own. my doc precribe 100mg clomid which i started on the 8th feb - 12th feb 09. i ovulated on the 19th. i am now experiancing slightly sore breasts and for the past two days i have had excessive white creamy discharge. is this normal when taking clomid or could it be a preg sign. I feel like everyday i am searching for a sign that i am but can't stop myself!!!! does anyone know what the chances of falling 1st time round on clomid are. My doc has only prescribed clomid for 3 months, if no preg i will have a ovary drilling havent even looked at what that is. One step at a time. Sounds exstremly sore though....

Spotting while on Provera?

I am on my 6th pill of provera (for the first time) and for the past like 4 days I have had like spotting/brown discharge. Its not heavy enough to need a tampon but do need a panty liner. Of what I read online most people do not have this symptom while taking Provera. Is it ok to spot while on it or should I get ahold of my doc?

Hi-

My doctor recently put me on Yaz. After I lost my twins, my periods got really irregular, so she suggested I get on birth control to regulate me. I started taking Yaz January 1st of this year, and immediately started bleeding. I bled until the 14th of January. She told me to stop taking the pill for 4 days, and then resume which should stop the bleeding. Indeed, it did stop. I was off my period for exactly a week, and started full flow again on the 24th until the 30th of January. I was off my period again from the 31st of January until the 3rd of February. Then it came back from the 4th till the 10th. I've not bled since then until today. When I was showering, I noticed some sticky dark brown discharge and it's been doing this all day.

I take my pill everyday at the same time, and don't miss pills.

My gyno is getting pretty frustrated at me for calling the office concerned a few times. I'm going to have to find a new doctor, but for the time being I'm miserable, and not sure what to do. What will happen if I double up on a dosage?

Please help! :)

Dear Sir,

Me and my husband are planning for a baby. We had sexual intercouse during the time when i was ovulating and my due date was expected on 29 January. However, till 10 days there was no period only little white dishcarge. On the 11th day there was a brownish red discharge in the morning and later turned red which is continuing in a little amount today also. I want to know what this could be ? Or does this means that I m not pregnent ? Please plz help, i want a baby
