Assisted Hatching

For my 1st IVF cycle we transferred 2 blasts on day 5 and my RE said my blasts looked good. The cycle did not result in a pregnancy. We're considering a 3 day transfer w/ assisted hatching the next time around. Here is my question: Assuming our embryos look just as good as the 1st time, for IVF #2 are we better off doing a 3dt w/ AH or letting them get to blast and do a 5dt? I'm nervous since the 5dt of blasts didn't work the first time. Thanks.

If I hada 3dt of 4 cell embryo at what day post transfer my embryo is likely to implant? Is it true that male factor infertility mostly contributes to implantation failure?

High Progesterone on Day 3

I had a baseline (day 3) ultrasound this week. Because my lining was very thick, the dr. ordered hcg and progesterone bloodwork to confirm that I was not pregnant before we proceed with femara, injectables, and timed intercourse. I was not pregnant. However, my progesterone level was 88. What could cause this to be so high? Should I be concerned? Additional info: I was on clomid for 6 months during which time my progesterone levels varied from 5 - 35+, but never higher than 40. I had several follicles in each ovary.

every day Intercourse

Everyone says that one should do the intercourse every other day and not every day. Can you tell me the reason? Is it because in one days time the sperms production is very less or is there any other reason?

hubby's special b day present

here is my story.

well I had just layed down in bed and i got to thinking wouldn't it be nice for hubby to be able to wake up and see a clean house for his b day,so instead of sleeping i decided to take a bit of sleeping time and use it to clean up around the house. Something deep down in side of me kept me thinking about how hubby might fill waking up to a messy house on his b day So I quietly got out of bed and started doing some cleaning around the house.I want him to be able To know How much I love him, appreciate him, care for him, Ect. however Hubby did Manage to find his b day cake roflmao. I am going to bring him breakfast in bed and let him laze around the house and let him have fun with what a b day guy might want to do. is this a wonderful gift of love or what :)

Suggestions to deal with pain from endo

I have endo and pcos (have known about both of these for at least 10yrs now). I suffer from some pretty major pain about 90%. The pain is always around my overies and feels like a sharpe, stabbing, twisting, pulling type feeling. And the area is always tender to touch even whn the pain isnt so bad.

I have had my endo lasered in the past few months. And normally can manage my pain with penodine forte, heat packs and the use of a TENS machine. But this past wk the pain has jst gotten to the point that I cant sleep and when I walk it just makes the pain worse.

The pain runs frm my pelvic (overies) area, straight thru to my back and down the inside of my legs. I have now not had a decent nights sleep for about a wk or more.

The pain is also so bad that its makeing me feel sick in the stomach and have been getting heaps of hotflushes. And BD for like the past 3months has jst been so VERY painful around 60% Im asking my fiancee to stop because the pain is so bad.

Im seeing my gyno 2morro afternoon but was wondering if anyone could offer any suggestions on how to cope with the pain. Im running on empty here and if I dont get some decent sleep or at very least some decent rest soon then I think Im gonna end up going crazy. I really cant take the pain any longer I spend my days laying around curled up crying its so bad.

May be also helpful to know I am also as of todat cd1 after a 80 day cycle. I dont usually o on my own and had to take PrimolutN to bring af on

Just wondering

I have a irregular period, but here lately it has been coming every two months on the dot. but this month it only lasted three days? and I normally have cramps but the only thing I had was like a burning sensation on my right side of stomach where my ovary is. I haven't tested yet I am waiting to go into town but does anyone know anything about this? has anyone ever experienced this?

I would appreciate if someone would give me some advice!

Tasha

Here we go again!! Day 1 of Cycle 4, 3rd IUI

Well AF came last night so on to round 3 for the IUI's and Clomid.

My RE says this is the last cycle for that before we have a counseling session to discuss other options.

Oh please let round 3 be the charm !!!

I requested my RE increase the dose from 100mg to 150 to see if that will help any. I am an early O'er so I am always seen on day 9 and trigger. Last IUI was on day 10 and the 1st IUI was done on Day 11 so I asked them to reevaluate that too since this is the last Clomid IUI cycle they will allow me to do.

After 3 years and 5 miscarriages something has to work soon doesnt it?? I am starting to panic. My 37th birthday is on November 29th so all I hear is the constant ticking, Its making me crazy.

DH was devastated this time when we got the BFN. He was so sweet yesterday and suggested maybe we take a break and give my body a rest but I told him with my age I dont have that luxury. He is only 32....and a guy so he doesnt understand the time thing although he is quickly becoming an expert on this whole fertility thing.......

Could i be now? Which day to ttc?

My husband and I have been ttc for 14 days. I tried the ovulation calculators not much help I don't think bc each one has different dates.

Doc came up with us both being completly healthy btw.

I get my period every month on the 30th.Since we've been doing it everyday pretty much we were hoping that we'd get lucky this month. .

But I usually can sense when I'm about to get my period bc the cramps are uncomfortable for me and bother. I feel somethings going on with my body but it's not the same feeling that I usually have so I don't know if it's good news or bad.

Around this time I'd usually feel a little emotional which I kind've do. I know I have to wait untill way after I miss my period to take a test but are there any signs that I can look for that I could be like around the time I'm do for my period? Also can you tell me a most likely accurate

date to ttc?

Thankyou for your help.

femara

I was wonder if 5-9 or 3-7 really makes a difference is how the egg is developed or not. Does the day in which a person starts matter?
