No positive opk or ewcm on Clomid? Please help ladies and Dr! :)

I have been on clomid for 2 mths now 50mg. Last mth I had a ruptured ovarian cyst caused by the Clomid, AF arrived on cd30 which is very good for me as I am usually really irregular. My question is that since I have started clomid I have never got a real positive opk, the line gets dark but not as dark as the control line, also before starting Clomid I used to get EWCM which was my indicator to ovultion, I no longer get EWCM? so I no longer know if I ovulate on the Clomid or not.

Please let me know why this happens when I never had a problem before starting Clomid?

Thanks Ladies xx

Update: Cyst,Miscarriage,Surgery,Etc.

I starting posting almost two weeks ago because I was having irregular bleeding with pain. Dr. initially said miscarriage. Ended up really sick with awful pain last Monday, Dr. sent me to the er where they found complex hemorrhagic cyst on my only remaining ovary (I have 1 tube/1 ovary). I was admitted to the hospital last Tues. Family dr. wanted the surgery ob/gyn said no. I was going to be released Thursday afternoon, but got much sicker. Had surgery Friday at noon. He removed the cyst and took about a third of my ovary. He said I will still have normal tube function, and he checked to see if my tube was open, he said he had to force the fluid through, but it went.

So, it has been a very long week. I am not sure if I will get to go back to school this semester or not.

I am just so thankful he didn't have to take my ovary!

Blessings to all!

Dr. or ladies, is this pain normal in pregnancy?

Hello, I am a little over 9 weeks pregnant. I have endometriosis and used to get an ache type pain in my thighs and groin during my periods. I hadn't had that pain since the pregnancy however, I have it today (It is not near a missed period date). At my u/s at 6 weeks 5 days they noted an ovarian cyst and fibroids and said they didn't think they were a concern but would keep an eye on them. Is this pain normal? Is it something I should worry about or contact my doctor about? Thanks!

Possible Ovarian Cyst

Hubby and I have been TTC since my last cycle 10/19, which only lasted 3-4 days and we BDing since then minus a couple days here and there. 11/10 i woke up feeling like i already had my AF but i didnt. tues. same thing..Wed..cramps turned into aches..lower abd. and back. Upper stomache felt like i was punched, sort of a indigestion feeling..Thurs..i got Nausea 9pm and Fri.(last night) a lil after 9pm more nausea..and this morning 'still' nausea..i went to docs thinking of bladder infection cause since Thurs. i also been peeing alot more but no other signs of infection..my docs say my urine came out normal..a preg. test came out Neg. but she says its possible its too early to be detected...she also said if im not pregnant it could be a Ruptured Ovarian cyst...not sure exactly when i ovulated..my first cycle was 35 days post Ectopic pregnancy a lil over 3 months ago..so i cant really rely on CD 14 to ovulate. What do you think?

pain from ruptured cyst for 2 wks

I had a 4.5 mm cyst that ruptured. I was unaware that it ruptured, I didn't feel anything. However, its been two weeks and I'm still having pain on the side where the cyst was, its an achy pulling pain that radiates to my back and sometimes shooting pain. Is it normal to have pain 2 wks after a ruptured cyst, or could I have another one? Thank you.

Hemorraghic Cyst, Possible Miscarriage,Etc.

Dr. Q,

I am so very worried. I have been ttc for about 18 mos. Have 1 tube/1 ovary, 37 yo. We were planning to try a more natural approach, befoe making a decision to be done (New dr. thinks insulin resistance may be playing a role).

Last week I had bleeding at what I thought was cd 19, with some cramping, pain on left side. Bleeding lasted for approx. 3 days. Went to the dr. and they said sounded like a miscarriage.

My pain had subsided for the most part, but still a bit in my left side. Yesterday it became much worse and increased throughout the day. I spent last night in the er, and they found a complex hemorraghic cyst. He said approx 2-3 cm (about the size of a walnut), he offered nothing in regard to ttc but said I need to have it evaluated immediately to make sure it is benign.

I am in a bit of a panic. I am worried about my chances now of ttc and moreso about my health.

Can you please offer some information or advice?

Thank you.

Stephanie

Cyst rupture or ectopic Dr.Q PLEASE answer?!?!

I'm 5 weeks 1 day pregnat today and had pain on Friday, Monday and now today. I have pain in my lower right abdomen/pelvis, pain in my lower back on the right(like where the kidney would be),and shooting pain(similar to pinched nerve type pain) that's in my right leg, also when I BD sometimes I have pain..like carmping in my lower abdomen like af cramps(I'm not sure if this pain is because I have a tilited uterus due to the fact occasionaly have it in the past that's why), if I cough I feel a twinge of cramping in my lower abdomen(right side) The pain goes away if I lay still with a hot water bottle on my lower back with some tylenol/asprin after a few hours. So my question Dr Q is are these symptoms ectopic or a cyst rupture?!? I have an appt on the 7th, but I'm wondering what all these symptoms can mean!! If it's something I should worry about I'm going to call to see if I can go in sooner, but if these symptoms are just unrelated pain then I don't want to look silly going to the ER. If it's somehing serious I'll see if my ob will see me sooner! Please answer Dr I'm very worried and not sure if I'm being paranoid.

I could not find any answers on google...

I am not sure if you can help with this but we'll see... I have been having some pain "down there." I am a 22 year old, healthy, female. I decided to look and feel around in the nether regions to see what what was going on... I've been feeling the pain for a couple days. I came across a lump underneath the skin on the left side of my vagina. A little above and to the left of the clitoris. It feels oval -ish in shape...there is an end part...I can feel the middle...but then I cannot find the other end... as if it extends to parts I cannot feel...like a vein that has an end to it...and that end is swollen. I can feel a pain when I put pressure on it. Do you have any idea what this might be? I have never experienced anything like this. I have never had any medical problems. Thank you. Write back soon.

Ruptured cyst.

I had a 4.3 cm cyst on my right ovary that was giving me alot of pain. I went in for an ultrasound 2 wks later to check the growth and they said that it was gone. I never felt it rupture but I continue to have pain on my right side even though it is gone. Is the pain still from the ruptured cyst or should I be worried about something else? At the ultrasound she also told me that I had a follicle on my left ovary measuring 2.4 cm and that I should ovulate that night or the next day. I was on CD 15 at this time and I usually always ovulate on CD 14. Isnt this a little big for a follicle? Could it be another cyst? Thank You

hello

just before starting my stims for ivf had an us and a 3.5. cm. cyst was found. dr. put me on aygestin hoping it would reduce or disappear. todays results were that it is now 2.5 cms. so its smaller now. what are your thoughts on starting stims with the cyst still there? (I only have one ovary). thanks,

yvi

Alrighty Ladies... 7 days late.

Ok ladies... I am officially a week late for my period. Last month I was cursed with a horrible corpus luteum cyst which caused me to be late, and be admitted to the hospital. Since then (and with no surgery) my doc told me that my cyst was gone, and that to go back to having fun trying to get knocked up.

I am willing to entertain the idea that I ovulated late... and I accounted for that by BDing up till 3 dp (supposed) o.

I went to my doctor; her tests were neg, my tests were neg. I havent done a blood test because I dont have the time. They told me to try again in 10 days and if I'm still peeing blanks, to come on back.

Has anyone else experienced a late period after a corpus luteum cyst? I certainly feel pregnant...

I went to RE today for CD3 U/S. She said there is a functional cyst in right ovary. Have anyone experienced this before. Is this all bcos of clomid?

how did this happen?

I can not express the emotions that I feel right now.

Short story about me and my DH. I am 20, he 37 and we TTC for about 1 1/2 years.

I went to RE and was told I have PCOS and a dermoid cyst. We did 2 unsuccessful IUI's. They told me to move on to IVF. The doctors office is so unprofessional and busy that I decided to get a second opinion.

So, I went to another specialist and was told I dont have PCOS and to remove the cyst (even though it is not bothering me) and then try another iui?

I dont know what to even think???

Conceiving naturally w/left ovarian cyst

Good day,

I'm a 24 y/o active healthy woman who keeps getting large ovarian cysts on my left ovary.

In 2005 I had an ultrasound which showed a large 4.0 x 3.2 cm complex, heterogeneously hypoechoic left ovarian cyst. Normal-appearing right ovary containing several small follicular cysts.

Due to my age at the time, my doctor put me on birthcontrol to stop ovulating. Then of April of this year, I went off birthcontrol and another large cyst appeared AGAIN on my left ovary....the next month, the blasted cyst was STILL THERE.

I work at a diagnostic center, so thankfully I have a lot of help as far as ultrasounds/technicians/rads.

Right before my cyst "explodes" I feel incredible amounts of pain and almost instantly when it releases itself, I feel better.

Some of the technicians said it may be hard to conceive naturally b/c of the cyst.

I thought a woman is suppose to ovualate every other ovary, but why does it feel/seem like my left ovary is doing all the work. Every month I feel pain on my left side--and sure enough, there is a cyst there.

I'm newly married and my husband and I would eventually like to have a baby, but I want to make sure things in that "dept" are in good shape before we try.

So my question is--Is it possible to conceive easily with a large, cyst, that keeps appearing on my left side?

**another tech told me that I may only be able to conceive every other month, when I'm ovulating from my R ovary--however I feel like that ovary doesn't do anything b/c I my left one is taking over.**

Thank you

Endometriosis and TTC

Hi

I am 30 years old female. I have been trying to conceive with my husband for 3 years. I had a submucous fibroid which was removed by laparoscopic myomectomy about 6 months ago. 3 months ago, I had a chemical pregnancy. I went to do u/s to follow up ovulation, but my doctor wrote in his report this:

"There is a 50 mm left adenexal unilocular cystic mass, distended with homogeneous low ecogenicity turbid fluid, almost keeping with being endometriotic"

I was devastated after reading this report, for I was just begining to hoping I will be able to conceive after the myomectomy. My question is:

1. Is this report sufficient to diagnose me as having endometriosis? Or is there a chance that it could be functional hemorrhagic ovarian cyst?

2. If I have endometriosis, is there any chance I can get pregant?
