Clomid and menstrual cycles.

This is my 6th month of Clomid and for the past 3 months when I've gotten my period it hasn't been an actual bleed, (I'm sorry if tmi, I don't know who else to ask) it's only been brown spotting. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

I've talked to my dr. about it and he doesn't seem concerned, but I am.

My Dr. upped this dose to 150mg. The past 3 months it was 100mg and the first 2 months it was 50mg.

Thank you!!

m/c ?

Dr.Q I have had 3 m/c's the past three months. They all happened between 4 and 5 weeks pregnant. Are these considered m/c's or chems?

Also, can this be due to my body just needing a break? Like getting pregnant 3 cycles in a row was just too much to ask of my body?

I have no idea what to do!!

I was on birth control pills for 15 years and have been off them for 2 and a half months. I've had "one" period in the two and a half months. It was 28 days after the last one on the pill. But I haven't had anything since, and tested negative for an ovulation test and a home pregnancy test (six days ago). First period off the pill was Oct 2-6. Nothing since. When I was 16 they thought I might have pcos, but my doc now doesn't think I do. Before taking the pill I had irregular periods, until I started taking the pill. I'm 30 now and I am scared that I won't ovulate on my own. I also don't want to take clomid because I read somewhere that you shouldn't take it in case of liver damage?? What should I do? I have a doctors appt this coming friday. Is there anything I should ask him? Or inquire about? Any help would be great!!!

my periods are irregular 35-42 days apart. and my husband and i are trying to get pregnant. is there any way to successfully balance my hormones without prescriptions or spending loads of cash on tests? ive also tried vitex, does it work or is it a waste of time?

Ovulation, fertility, irregular cycle???

I've been on the pill for 15 years and just stopped 2 months ago. I never had a regular cycle before I started taking them. I got my first period after stopping the pill, and my second one (according to what they would be while on the pill) is about 3 days late. Am I ovulating, does the pill make you not ovulate for a while? was the first period a "real" period? How do I find out if I am able to conceive?

TTC..confused

My husband and I have been TTC for a few months now. I have a normal cycle meaning every month, number of days not so normal. Last month my period was very short and spotty, and in October I didn't get one at all. I took a HPT a few days before my period and it was negative and I waited until I was a week late to take another and it is still negative. I've been having lower abdominal pains ( I get them a lot but not like this ), I was just kind've confused because I always get cramps before my period, and I was experiencing some, but still no period and it's never been this late before. What could be going on?

Clomid, PCOS, and taking a break.

Hi!

I was diagnosed with PCOS in June of this year. I started on 50 mg of Clomid on 8/31 and I didn't ovulate, this month I took 100 mg and didn't ovulate. I'm assuming my RE will try 150 mg this upcoming month. My question is, how long of a break does the dr make you take inbetween cycles of clomid. I'm thinking I might need glucophage since I'm Insulin Resistant.

Thank you!

clomid

I'm currently on a cycle of 300mg of clomid and provera. I have pcos. My doctor told me to choose whether to take the clomid days 3-7 or days 5-9 according to my chart. My chart is chaotic. Which days are best when my cycles are between 53-55 days? And when do you ovulate after you take clomid?

Dr. Q... what do I do now?

I am on CD 34 today (my cycles are usually 15-31 days long, averaging to 25 days).

After 4 negative tests, I went and had a beta yesterday that came back at 2, meaning not pregnant. So, how long do I wait for AF to come and when do I start getting worried?

I've never had to go through this before as my cycles are generally much shorter than this and I've never been this late. Thanks!

Irregular cycle

Hey Doc!

My periods never seem to come on the same dates. my cycle used to be normal until I had a mc of twins. Last month it started on the 10th, and now it's the 13th and AF hasn't come. The chances are very slim that I'm pregnant, The last time we had sex was last friday and we used protection, simply because if I can't get this cycle on track i'll probably have to go on BC, against my will. Is it normal for a woman to be off by a few days every month? I've had a lot of stress lately too because i just moved from New York to Indiana... ON TUESDAY! AH!

Just a little confused...

Thanks!

TTC.. Cycles fluctuate

I had my daughter in dec 2006. After I had her I was put on the Nuva Ring but I wasn't very happy with it, I was on that for about 5 months. Then I went off birth control completely. My periods were normal for a while came every 33 days, but the last 6 months they have ranged from every 33 days to every 40 days. We are TTC but I am not entirely sure if I am ovulating we have been trying for about 4 months now with no success. (We got pregnant with out daughter by surprise, not that we regret it, having a child is amazing!) But I read somewhere that any cycles over 40 days could mean you aren't ovulating. I am big on Herbs, I took herbs to try and induce my labor when I was over my "due date" they didn't work but I like them. Is there any herbs that can help regulate my period or would you recommend seeing my doctor? Sorry so long.

Hey I want to start a post for any women who have been ttc for 3+ years. This matters to me b/c Im at the 3 year mark. I would like to share stories and experiences with other women who are in the same... "boat" as I am.

No offense to anyone who hasn't been ttc that long, I know it still hurts just as bad no matter how long or short you are ttc with negative results.

I simply want to jump straight to the point and talk with some women who have been struggling for as long as I have. I find I don't have a lot in common with some of the women on this site b/c I've been ttc so much longer then they have, and I seem to be in a different "place" then they are.

So I'm looking for someone who's in the same "place" as me =)

I feel very alone, it seems like not too many women have been ttc for this long, and I need to know there are success stories for someone in my position. I have so much love and encouragement to share... Anyone else know how I feel?

Ovulation

Is it possible to ovulate really late one month and then early the next? Last month af arrived on day 35 which only happened that late one other time in the past year. My cycle was usually around 27-29 days. I ovualted around CD 25. I first thought they were af cramps but then it never came. Now, I'm on CD 12 and I had some pain in my ovaries that felt like ovulation. My cycle was a little off in May because I was on Clomid for only 1 month, but I had regular cycles after that for 2 months. For the year that I've been documenting my cycles, af always comes on 12 or 13 DPO. I actually though I might have been pregnant which is slim to none given our situation. My dh has low sperm count, motility and morphology. We're heading into ivf this month. Thanks, Lara
