This will be my 5th cycle(2nd fresh) to try for our second child. This journey has been tough, We were blessed with our daughter now 2yrs through IVF on our very first cycle. And now it's been a year + and counting that we are trying for another. Everytime we try our little embies just won't stick. I want so much to feel a life inside me again. I want so much for this time to work.....but I'm almost expecting to her the famous phone call saying "I'm sorry". We've always put in 2 embies so maybe we will try 3 even 4. I just want this time to be our last...I feel like my husband after this might give up. I guess I just have to se how this month will be and see what the Lords plan will be.

Just started Clomid yesterday--- Cycle buddies anyone?

Hi!

Yesterday I started my 3rd round of clomid. I am at cycle 5 today (I started the clomid a day late because the pharmacy was closed Sunday). I will take the clomid for 5 days then follow up with follistim injectibles and ovidrel before my IUI. This is my second cycle like this. My first cycle was a complete bust, my second cycle, was very successful but I didnt get pregant. Hoping 3rd time is a charm!!!!!!!

Anyone interested in being cycle buddies???

Ladies,

What dosage of Clomid worked for you?

Docs, What dosage worked for most of your patients?

I am starting 50mg CD 3-7 next cycle. I have PCos & I'm 5'3", 118 lbs. if that makes a difference. I'm on Metformin also.

Also, is there any sort of statistic of the number of cycles on clomid it takes most women to get pregnant? I know everyone's different, just wondering what works for MOST.

Hi, I was on the pill for a lil over 5 years and stopped in Nov 2007 as my husband and I are TTC. Since stopping the pill my cycles were not really normal. Some months I had very irregular light spotting off and on and other months no period at all. Here i am almost a year later and still have not gotten pregnant.

Just this past month in August my Ob & GYN Dr. put on on provera for 5 days to induce my period. He said more than likely i was not ovulating and therefore not having a period every month. After finishing provera i got a period on 8/31. I tested today hoping for a positive and of course was negative and still no period again.

every month although i do not have a period I still get all the PMS signs. I will have the bloating,cramping, tender breasts, side lower abdominal pain(the kind u have when u do ovulate)etc.. but still seems like I'm not ovulating. How long does it take for your body to get back to normal after the pill? And why is it that I do not seem to be ovulating. Before getting on the pill 5 years ago my periods were very regular.

Hi doctors, I just wanted to know what it means when I been having a light af when my af is expected. I wasn't too sure if I should count that as a new cycle. I had brown blood for the last 3 days and now its just light colored discharge. So im not sure what this is..a new cycle or not? It is time for my af but brown is coming out.. Not that heavy where I have to change my pad.. So please help docs and ladies. Thank you!

I've been reading numerous comments on Fertilaid because I'm planning to take it. However, several with regular ovulation say that they skipped a cycle instead after taking it. Is this only for those with irregular cycles?

I am CD 2 and starting Clomid in 3 days. I will be taking 50 mg days 5-9. I usually ovulate on my own, however last cycle with the "help" of Clomid it did not happen for me. I am looking for a cycle buddy or buddies so we can encourage and share stories and hopefully symptoms!! Good luck ladies!

I was put on Provera to jump start my period, I should be starting my period any day now. I am supposed to take Clomid on day 5 - 9. My periods only really last 4-5 days tops...does that matter? Should I take the Clomid on 3-7 instead? Does it even matter? Thanks

So my LMP was August 20th....I just am starting the next one Sept 23rd. So according to that, is it 14 days previous now that I was ovulating? So when people ask for the Luteal phase, what exactly is that?

Hello!

I'm 25 years old and my husband (he's 28) and I have been trying to conceive since March this year. I came off the pill (monofeme 28) at the beginning of February.

I tried doing the CM thing but I could never be sure if it was my fluid or his (!) and the temp charting never really made any pattern.

I also tried ovulation predictor kits but even though AF has always been like clockwork (28 days exactly) and I follow the instructions exactly, I never got the second line to show I was ovulating, so I presumed I wasn't and we just decided to try forget about it and see what, if anything, happened by itself.

AF was a week late in early August (totally unheard of for me) so I went to the Dr and had a blood test done. It came back negative.

It's now 8 days late again, (first day of last LMP was 22 July, it's now 24 September) and I have a really queasy stomach. I feel kind of sea sick and the slightest thing makes me want to throw up. This morning I even threw up water.

I have also had very light cramping on and off since AF was due in August.

I don't know whats going on. Do cycles just randomly change? Could I have gotten pregnant since mid August despite not having had AF since 22 July? Has anyone else had anything like this happen? Does it sound normal?

I just went to buy a pregnancy test on my way home but I can't find my money card! And I am so scared of getting another negative - I dont want there to be something going on with me that I don't understand

I cam off the pill 13th Aug, had my period start 16th aug and go for 5 days. My cycle has now been 39 days and no period yet.... How long should I wait till I go to my GP? I did a preg test 2 days ago and it was negative, so I'm not pregnant.

Also with BBT when do your higher temps occur - At time of ovulation or after?

I don't know what is going on with my cycle this month, my temp went back up today at CD 25...BBS are sore, so I think AF is coming, but I don't know what to expect since it doesn't look like I O'ed this month.

Today I have started having some really light red discharge and my question is, do I count this as CD 1 or should I wait until tomorrow when I will be heavier? I am going to start my 2nd round of clomid cd's 3-7 and I want to make sure that I start on the correct day. Thanks :)
