Had second IUI yesterday...

Is it normal to have some light/moderate cramping post-IUI? I also noticed a tiny bit of brown spotting in the evening.

We've been doing IUI due to moderate male factor, as my husband's sperm values have been off for the last 8 months or so: low count (20M), motility (20%), and morph (2%). However, our RE told us yesterday that he was encouraged to see am improvement in sperm values -- for example, motility jumped from 20% to 60%! The RE said that though the sperm count was still low, the overall quality of the sperm had markedly improved. How unusual is this, and how does one explain this change? He injected 2.3M motile sperm for my IUI and said that he's seen pregnancies with far fewer sperm.

Are we fooling ourselves in thinking that this might work?

Many thanks for your time--

The doctor also said that he's seen rare pregnancies with 50,000 sperm injected!! If that's true, then I'm holding out some hope...

What do you think about any of this?

Can Clindesse 2% hurt my baby in third Trimester??

Hi, I'm 31 wks prg. and last friday I went to my normal app. with my ob-gyn I told her I had had some cramps the night before, and also low back pain for around 1 hour... I also had a little bit more of vaginal discharge than usual... She examined me in 1 second and said I had some infection and she gave me this med. Clindesse 2% vaginal cream... so I went and bought it (friday night) (Now I regret not reading about it first) and I just went ahead and used it that night...... then on saturday my baby was moving ok, not as much as before but not so quiet either, so I didn't think about it, but yesterday (sunday) my baby almost didn't move at all, only 3 times in all day and I'm talking about 1 small movement every time, I ate, I had cold water, I moved my belly, I put her music, I did some excercice so that my heartbeat could get higher and this ussually makes her move, but yesterday nothing worked at all....

Anyway, Im using this babyplus and usually when my baby hears the noise, she starts moving, but yesterday, nothing worked... I was all worried if the Clindesse could do something to my baby... Today she has been moving almost normal again, but not as much as before either, so, should I be worried??? should I go to the dr. today?? does any of you know if this med. can cause this decrease in fetal movement or some damage to my baby??

I have been reading about it but haven't find any good answer... Please help me if you know something about this!!!

Thank you in advance...

menstral cramps and ovulation

Dr.Q, I had mild menstral cramps the day I started my period. I read on another web site that mild cramps on the first day of a period signaled that this was an ovulatory cycle. Is this true?

Frequent urination and painful cramps

OK I am 11DPO andCD21-23 I had CM lotionlike so much til it wet my panties. It went away and when i use the bathroom and wipe the CM was clear like egg yoke and now on CD27 about 2am this morning started urinating every 2 hours and real bad cramps got so bad until i couldn't sleep anymore. I was sure to see AF from the pain I was feeling so I finally woke completley up and the cramps disappeared.what is going on Dr. or anyone with any advise because I was 25 days but until i started my 1st round of clomid i believe i was delayed by 4 or 5 days so i am waiting until the 30th to see if AF shows but hoping she doesn't.

ok weirdness afoot!

Hello ladies, I have an interesting thing going on. TTC x2 1/2 yrs. Started with the RE in April just. Had my HSG on July 2nd and my LH surge way later than usual on the 7th/8th of July. AF was "due" (I'm irregular at 21-25d usually) at the latest two days ago. Lots of cramping like AF usually does, but nothing to show for it. Also a abs feeling like I've done a thousand crunches. Trying not to get hopes up, but does this ring for anyone else out there??? *fingers and toes crossed*

Faint line on Ovulation test means negative?

After a few days of absolutely no lines (negative result) on my Ovulation test kit, I've had faint lines instead for last 2 days. Does this mean I haven't ovulated yet or I'm close to ovulation? I had cervical mucus 2 days ago, but now stopped. I had cramps on my left lower stomach last night, but it has stopped today. What do you think?

On Clomid, not sure if i'm pregnant. Pls help.

My dr put me on clomid treatment, but instead of stating at day 2(as he suggest), i took it on day 5. My last period is on June 13. usually i got 28 days cycle. But until today still no sign of my period coming. I got cramps, mostly on my right side, almost everyday, starting day 14 after my cycle, until today. i also had a lot of clear discharge. I took pregnancy test today, but it was negative. From what i read through the internet, clomid can 'delay' period. Is it true? Or something bad happened (due to cramps sign)? Olease help. Thank you.

IUI and cramps

I just went through IUI yesterday after taking clomid cd 4-8. Doctor told me that it was a good time to do the procedure. Since yesterday, I have been having cramps. Not painful per se but just curious what is going on...is this a good sign?

**UPDATE**singleton not twin dpo diff & dd changed after ER visit!! Can u ovulate 10days after LMP?!

I had a ER trip last nite(7/6/08 by the time I got my labs done & seen it was AM...lol) due 2 cramping...but I didn't m/c thank god!! I had my beta done again & it was 5,378 HCG & get this my u/s showed a singleton pregnancy & the baby measured @ 5w 4d!! So my dpo @ HCG 2,068 on 7/3/08 was really 22dpo not 18dpo..which is werid cuz my LMP was 6/1/08...so I'd ovulated on the 11th not the 15 which means instead of 14 days after LMP having ovulation I had 10days after LMP for ovulation?! So my dpo today is 25dpo & so my due date is changed & everything 3/4/08 instead of 3/8/08! Well will be more confirmed @ RE appt on 7/9/08 after another beta & u/s..will keep u poted! Is it possible to ovulate 10days after LMP?! Is that normal?!
