I went to my RE and had to speak with a nurse(doc out of town) she suggested the shot so we know when to have intercourse( i ovulate fine i just mc) then they can monitor my hormone levels, he thinks i mc b/c of low progeterone. Could we not do the same when i get preg. w/o shot? I got my first period when I was 15ish. The thing is, that was the only "natural" period I had. I had another one when I was 16 or so. I went a whole year and then some with out a natural period. I finally went to my family doctor and they couldn't give me an exact answer, but did put my on birth control. Here's the odd thing. If I take my birth control, I get a period, if I don't take it, I dont have one. My cycles are very irregular so I assume my doctor will want to give put me on Provera to regulate my cycles, but I am really nervous about taking fertility drugs. Especially after reading things like this...<br/><br/>You should never take Provera during the first 4 months of pregnancy. During this formative period, even a few days of treatment with Provera might put your unborn baby at increased risk for birth defects.
