Infertility caused by cervix???

Hello, I had an hsg today and the dr. had to dialate the cervix in order to get the catheter in. About 6 years ago I had an IUD put in (and removed a month later) and the dr. also had to dialate the cervix in order to get the iud in. Is this common or could a tight/closed cervix be causing a problem for sperm to pass through to achieve pregnancy? Thanks for any answers

cervix open/closed and AF

More out of curiosity than needing to know im wondering what happens to the cervix before AF comes and when does it happen b4 AF comes?

Does it stay closed until the day of flow, does it start open slowly a few days b4 the flow starts or what?

closed cervix

HI,

I had my hsg yesterday but the doctor couldnt get the cath in my cervix. He said it was closed and this may be the problem why I'm not conceiving. Can you tell how a closed cervix is corrected or if it can be?

Question about Closed Cervix and Implantation

DR Q,

Quick question about cervix. At my Doctor's Appt. yesterday the RN told me that my Cervix was closed.. I'm not sure of the postition but it does feel high to me (to reach it it takes the length of my middle finger.. is that considered high? sorry TMI) I wouldn't say it was COMPLETELY soft but it isn't hard either.

My main question is... (trying to determine my REAL DPO date) if the cervix is closed does that mean that implantation is no longer possible?

I think I am 8DPO today but I could also be 5DO. I think I may have had implantation on the 26th.
