hi i am mathu. I want to clear one doubt and make my mind peace.ie recently i read from one book that if one extra x chromosome is added to boy child means then the transgender child will born .ie he is having boy appearance but he himself feel as girl. now i am planning to have a healthy boy child.please clear my doubt and give me a tips to have a healthy child.expecting yours answer eagerly.

Trying to Concieve

I have an 18 month old son already and am currently trying to concieve #2. I have been ttc for 7-8 months now. How long is it normal for trying to concieve a second child before i should start to worry about infertility?? I am currently going to start my 3rd cycle of clomid but no pregnancy yet.

I am new to this site and I am amazed at the support everyone is given here. I am in my second month of trying to conceive and I sure would like to go through this with someone or everyone.:) I am a nervous wreck because just like all of you I want to have a baby soooooo bad. I have a 4 year old son that will be 5 in February and I want to see him experience having a little brother or sister. Please join me!!!!!!

Trying to have a second child....

I'm a 26 year old mom of a one year old daughter. I got pregnant missing 3 pills. Since her birth, 15 months ago, my husband and I haven't used any form of birth control because we wanted two children close in age. I am still trying to get pregnant. My question is why is it taking so long to have a second child? I do have PCOS dx through labs and u/s. I also have endometriosis. I had a laparoscopy in 2005. I went to the doctors a few months ago and he told me to come back in August if I haven't conceived. He also didn't have any answers for me, but talked about clomid. What are my chances of conceiving while on clomid if I don't get pregnant before than? Thank you so much!

Well Ladies, my little bundle of joy arrived yesterday afternoon...at 38 1/2 weeks. SHE IS SO CUTE!

My story goes a little something like this. Tuesday evening, after finishing what I needed to do for work (maternity leave wise) and doing my MAJOR baby shopping trip, I went to bed with a backache and a bit of cramping. Thought it was because I had exerted myself with all of the shopping. Not so much.

At 1:15 am I got up to go to the bathroom...completely normal. Emptied the bladder, got back into bed, had a few more cramps, then a little gush. Not a lot, but it was wet. Honestly, I didn't know what had happened. I really thought I had somehow managed to pee myself, although it didn't feel like pee coming out. It also didn't smell like pee...but I'd had a lot of water in the day.

Anyway, I changed underwear and crawled back into bed, at which point I realized I was having fairly regular cramping every 5-6 minutes. Kind of panicked there, as I realized what was going on. Went to the bathroom again and my mucus plug was fully coming out. Mine totally looked like EWCM with some blood streaks in it. At that point I wondered if my cramping had to do with the mucus plug rather than delivery. Called the doctor around 2am. She said that I needed to come in immediately if I was even suspicious my water had broken. So, at 2:30 am my hubby and I left for the hospital.

Upon arrival I was checked and told my water had definitely broken. Again, panic set it.

At this point I was having 45 sec. contractions every 4-6 minutes. But, I was still only 90% effaced and 1 cm dilated. So, I had a long way to go. Since I was in some pain and I was a bit anxious, I got a lovely narcotic...which seemed to slow down the contractions.

So, at about 10 am my doctor came it and asked if she could serve me up some oxytocin. Since I was Strep B +, and my water had broken, they wanted to get the show on the road.

It took a lot of oxytocin, but, finally, things got moving. REALLY moving. The narcotic had completely worn off by this point, so I was feeling the contractions hard core. And, truth be told, it wasn't as bad as I thought. Don't get me wrong...it is pain...but the fact that they come and go does help. You forget about that. Oh, and, before they got too bad, I got more narcotics, followed by an epideral. Epiderals, btw, are awesome.

I don't know if I really slept, but I was in and out a bit for a couple of hours...no pain. Then, at about 2:15pm I had some pretty bad pressure on my rectum. It felt like contractions all over again...painful, but doable. The fact I was having these pains made my nurse suspect I was getting close, so she checked, and I was between 9 an 10 cm. I kept on with the rectum pain for another half hour or so, at which point she checked me again, and it was time to push!

I have to admit, pushing was harder than I thought it would be. I don't really remember pain associated with it, but it was EXHAUSTING. Still, 45 minutes later, and my sweet, sweet little girl was born.

what and when to back for the hospital

Ok, so child birth classes has begun talking a lot about packing. They told us to have 2 bags and leave the one for after delievery in the car until you need it. But they have been telling us a lot of little things for while in labor that I hadn't thought of. I am wondering what you all recommend or what they told you to bring and then you didn't need it, that sort of thing. I know I need chap stick LOL.

Spoting during pregancy

is it normal to have a copple lite spotings while your prego, im only about 10 weeks and i had a copple days where i spoted, could it just be from where i was spose to be on my period that time of the month, i have a doc app on thursday at 9:45, so i will ask him, but for rite now im a lil scared, this is my first child and i was told i would never be able to have a child so im a lil more cautious and everything....so do u think the spotting is normal or what??

Hello, i was digonosed with PCOS and about a yr later i found out that it was gone and now me and my hubby are trying to have a baby, and i just wanted to know the best way that is possible without having to use any kind of drugs. and is there anything that i should stay away from, like in foods or anything?

How am I supposed to know I am pregnant if the doctor has prescribed me Provera to make me have a period?

( hopefully I actually ovulated)

If your supposed to wait until you have a missed period before you can test.

What should I do?

I was thinking about taking the provera on 9/13 instead of 9/2 like I did last month. But since I have PCOS there is no real way to tell if my period is going to come on it's own or not. Then I will have wasted time and then that will throw off my cycle again. Then I will have to wait an extra month before my doctor prescribes me clomid.

Iam 5'3 and weigh 115 pounds.

I have my test results from the last doctors appt, when I was diagnosed with PCOS if you would like to see those

I am also charting my temps but I am new at it so I'm not sure if I'm reading it correctly.
