I hope everyone is doing well!

FertilityTies.com launched chat rooms to facilitate the communication among its members more specifically to help them share their journeys and provide support to each other throughout this Journey, in real time and more personable way.

It has come to my attention in some instances the chat rooms are being used for personal attacks, arguments and other activities that are not related to providing and sharing experiences and support. Even though these instances doesn't occur often, it's definitely something that doesn't benefit the community and its members, including our wonderful Doctors.

If this situation continues we will be forced to shut down the chat rooms. You will continue to have access to the forums and Ask a Doctor features.

The chat rooms have helped many find the support and information that they need and has made a significant difference for them, so we hope to be able to continue providing this service.

We encourage to continue using the Chat rooms in a way that is respectul and compassionate to everyone for the benefit of all our members. Even when we're expressing different opinions. We encourage you to use the various chat rooms available to find others who may have similar situations and affinities (i.e. male infertility, miscarriage, JustMommies).

We hope to be able to continue providing you these services to help give you the support and medical info needed throughout your Journey.

I was able to read some of your posts and I appreciate all your feedback. I agree, that the chat rooms are very helpful to many, so it's our hope and desire that we won't have to take it down but needed to bring this to your attention.

We also realize that there are things that could be better about the chat rooms functionality wise that might facilitate and decrease the issues and it's something that we'll be looking into for the mid-term. In the meantime I just ask everyone to be mindful of this, and if there are any issues to resolve it in a respectful way, and/or e-mail me directly if that's not possible.

We will leave the chat rooms up and running for now and hope there won't be a need to take them down while we work on better solutions for everyone. In the event that we do decide to do that, we will let you know in advance.

Hello everyone,

FertilityTies.com developed various chat rooms with the purpose of facilitating more communication among members during their journey of trying to conceive.

It has come to my attention, that in some instances the chat rooms are being used for personal attacks, arguments and otherwise activities that are not related to being supportive and sharing information with one another, which is the number ONE goal of this site.

If this continues we will be forced to shut down this feature completely. You'll continue to have access to our forums and Ask a Question features.

These chat rooms have provided much needed support to many of our members, so it's our hope that all of you will continue to use these chat rooms for these purposes.

Many of our members use this site as their sole source of support, and find much needed reassurance and communication (be it medical info, venting, humor etc) through these chat rooms.

I encourage everyone to continue to use them in a responsible manner. I encourage everyone to use the various chat rooms that were created to discuss different topic and find members who share affinities with you (i.e. JustMommies, Miscarriage Support etc.)

Thank you everyone and we hope to be able to continue to provide you with this service which is the only service that offers FREE medical information and peer support.

As per your request, we now have a LIVE CHAT window, where you can have a conversation with other FertilityTies users live!

Please check it out and you have privacy options that you can check at Chat Settings.

Currently, Dr. Q will not be part of the LIVE CHAT sessions, in the future we will set up times for him to chat live with everyone. In the meantime you can continue to leave questions for him in the Q & A section.

Please let us know if you encounter any problems and/or your feedback will be greatly appreciated.
