will it end in miscarriage or not

I know we have an inner and outer cervix, i have recieived faint bfp on IC strips i have all the signs still but af is not due til friday. now as most of you know i have given birth vaginally before and my cervix is more of a slit than an o. my cervix is reachable but not neccessarily low, but the slit is a bit open almost 1cm does that mean that the faint bfp is really a neg or does that mean that if i am preggos that i will miscarry, now granted when i stand up the slit goes back to being tightly closed, it is only when i sit on the toilet that it opens like that any advice would be appreciated

dr q small bump in cervix

i have a rather strange question.. i was feeling my cervix and i noticed in the back wall slightly lower than my cervix there is a small hard bump like the size of a pea its not raised on the wall but under it and can only be felt if its pushed on a bit. it dont hurt or bother me in any way and if i push on it it moves around a little but not much also feels like it puts a tiny bit of pressure against the wall of my bum . is this normal? ive never noticed it before but then i havent checked my cervix position very often.. .thank you

Hey ladies! My dr. told me I have a short cervix and sort of explained it...and said I should be fine...however I wanted to see if anyone else has this same thing just so I can get a real person perspective. Any sucess stories would be great encouragement!

Cervix question

Hi Dr. I am wondering if it is normal to have a very sensitive Cervix at ovulation time? It's a bit uncomfortable when we are BD'ing. AFter Ovualtion, I also tend to bleed a bit during Sex. Only for a couple days. This only happens after Ovualtion. I am wondering why this is? My paps and Hormone levels are all normal.

Thanks!

Trying to get pregnant with inverted cervix.

i have been trying to get pregnant for 14 months and nothing. my doctor has said that i have PID, but that turned in to a suspicious spot on my cervix for cancer. but he said that i have to wait 4 to 6 months and go back to him to see if it has grown and to make sure that it's not. but while he was doing the cancer biopsy, he found out that my cervix was inverted. my question is, can i still get pregnant with all this going on?

My cervix can be high one minute and then low/medium another throughout one day. My Cm has been clear and thick feeling since my AF stopped. Today 11/3 is the first it feels a little thinner and looks like lotion. is that a sign that Ovulation is getting close?

Pregnancy on own with Narrow Cervix

I hope you can answer my question. I had an HSG test done in August that showed I have a narrow cervix. My ob/gyn said he thought that was my problem. Question is, is it still possible for me to conceive on my own, without IUI or IVF, being that I have a narrow cervix.

Is it Possible?

Ok so as some of you know I have been getting that pinching pain in my cervix, and it has been coming and going more often, stopping me in my tracks. Well starting sometime last night and still going on now, I feel like he has moved down further. I feel like when im standing there is just tons of pressure, and its very uncomfortable. Then while sitting here at the computer, it gets comfortable, then if he moves just the slightest it feels like OMG im going to come out of my seat.

Is this normal for him to shift down further @ only 33weeks 4days?

I dunno but its REALLY uncomfortable, as right now he is moving a bit. Also I dont feel like he is under my ribs as much which also leads me to believe he went further down.

Im going to let them know on Friday, maybe they will check and see where he is at.

Gosh Golly the unknown world freaks me out, I can understand if I have experienced this before, but how am I supposed to know whats normal and whats not....thanks yall :)

Ovulation

Hi..my fiance and I are TTC our first together.(we both have a kid from previous marriages) I have been put on Clomid and I'm on my last dose of it today which is CD9. Yesterday I had the EWCM and my cervix felt high and medium and I think closed as I didn't feel an opening. My BBT hasn't detected ovulation yet but we missed the egg last month and don't want to have that happen again. So I guess what I'm asking is how long does it usually take to ovulate after last dose of Clomid and if the cervix is open will it feel obvious when I check it? Sorry this is so long winded! Neither my fiance nor I want to go through another BFN. Fiance and I both felt so let down and sad. Thanks so much for your time!

strange question

Is it possible to have a swollen cervix??? It's what it feels like anyway. I have never felt this way and I don't want to call my dr. because i don't want them to think I am crazy and calling all the time!! I am 8dpo and we bd quite a bit during o time. The last two times we o-ed I felt like my cervix was swollen or something. When dh would hit it, it hurt. As long as he didn't touch it, sex didn't hurt. We haven't bd again yet because I still feel swollen. I have had a lot of AF type cramps, and twinges of pain, but nothing sever at all. Today I pushed on my stomach and it felt harder than normal. Should I be concerned??? Can my cervix be swollen? What would that mean?? Thanks!

Question on Cervix late ion Pregnancy?

Hi All,

I hope you can help me out on this one... All day today I have been having a burning/twinging sensation in my cervix. I'm 37w3d pregnant today. I just went to the bathroom and noticed this big chunk (whitish yellow) with a red streak of blood down the middle (Not alot literally just 1 red streak). Just wondering if I should call my dr.? I dont know if this could be an infection or my mucus plug or if something is wrong with my little baby guy. I have been doing alot of cleaning today but I have also been resting alot too, I definitly dont think I over did it. Also, we are going to a wedding tonight (shoot me now!) and am wondering what I should do? Anyone know??

36w6d Pregnant Question!!

Hi Dr.Q and Ladies,

I have a question for all you. It's gonna be a long one so I apologize!

Anyways, back when I was 11 weeks pregnant I had a pap smear done at my 1st prenatal appointment and the result came back high grade abnormal. My doctor then scheduled me for a coposcopy. She didnt biopsy anything she just did a vinegar wash on my cervix to look at the cells. Which at that time she said were still abnormal. I was about 17 weeks pregnant at this coposcopy.

She then said not to worry and she would do a follow up pap smear in August. She said sometimes pregnancy can cause abnornmal cells on the cervix and it could possibbly be all the hormones making the cells come up abnormal.

So I just had another pap smear done in Augst at 33 weeks pregnant. I got the resukts back last week and they came back high grade abnormal again. The nurse called me and said they need to do another coposcopy. So I have another coposcopy scheduled for 1:30 today. I ended up going to the doctor yesterday because of increased swelling in my feet and ankles and I asked why I need another coposcopy and if it's safe this far along in pregnancy (I am 36w6d today). She said if the does the coposcopy and the cells are still abnormal they will have to induce labor this week. Does this sound like a normal procedure for someone who has high grade abnormal cells? I completely trust my doctor but I had not heard of being induced until just yesterday. Also, will my baby be ok being delivered between 37-38 weeks? I'm worried a little about his lung development. Ohh and what does high grade abnormal cells mean? Does this mean it's cancer or very close to becoming cancer? My doctor didnt seem at all concerned with the baby but she did seem concerned about the abnormal cells. Thanks so much for your help and any advice or information will be so helpful!

Ohh also, when I went to the dr. last week I was 1cm dialated and 70% effaced. Dont know if this might speed up the labor process since I am a little dialated and effaced.
