If you had spotting(pink and brown blood) for 2 days and then bright red bleeding the 3rd day, what is considered day 1 of your cycle? Do you count spotting or the 1st day of bright red bleeding?

I have brown spotting (not enough to wear a pad but enough for pantyliner) this week (three weeks after surgery). I have had some very slight cramps. I had a brown blood clot yesterday My period is not due for another two weeks...is this something to be alarmed about or normal?

My periods have always been about 5 days and very heavy. My period last month only lasted a day and was all old blood (dark brown), there was no new red blood at all.

This cycle is exactly the same, just one day of bleeding and all old blood.

I've been trying to conceive for 2 years and done many hpt's that have all been negative.

Why have my periods suddenly changed? Why aren't I getting any new blood? Is this normal?

Brown stringy discharge started today when wiping only day 24/25. My cycle is usually around 31 days. Never had a short cycle before. What could have caused this? Is it possible to be implantation or an daly miscarriage (had 2 before).

Ok so all today I've been having brown blood (kinda clot like). It's not a flow where I need a tampon. I had red bleeding for a bit yesterday morning. But I've had this years ago and my doctor said if your period is light it could be like this. I used to get this when my cycles were longer and my doctor said it's anovulation. I'm CD47. I received a pos digital opk CD18. Neg blood test on CD38. The last time before blood test that we bd was CD22. My regular period is 35days. I'm supposed to start Clomid tomorrow. But I'm just wondering if it's true about the brown blood being my period. I also have light red spotting every once in awhile. I used to get this every other month years ago, but lately I've had a regular flow. I just don't want to screw up my cycle by taking Clomid. But I swear it's my period - just light. My bbt this morning was 97.90, but I got up and walked around a bit before realizing I forgot to take it.

Am currently 15dpo today and didn't do hpt yet. I feel that AF is coming as i already have brownish spot so it doesnt give me high hopes of BFP. :( Much as i wanted to do the test but am just scared of getting BFN and feel frustrated whenever. I posted this thread just to make me feel better and burst out my feelings about this "TTC badly".

firstly let me say this is a fantastic site, glad there are other ppl in the same situation. my partner and i are ttc, im due for period today, nothing as yet, for the last week or so have been lots of cm, soaking wet, sorry tmi! however today i have had some clear, with a brown tinge, thick stuff. i dodnt even know what to call it. its almost like rubber cement, very thick. what is this stuff? is it normal?

Last month I have been told by my Doctor that u can try for conceiving and Doctor did follicular study and gave me tablet for multiple egg formation and we tried. But last week when my periods was due, I got this black colour thick clots coming out of my vagina for two days, but there was no fresh blood or bleeding like periods. Does it means that I had miscarriage or some other problem.

I finished a round of provera 10mg for 10 days on 2/4. On 2/8 I started having some brown when I wiped and figured AF would come soon. 2/9 I had brown through the day and just a little red when I wiped in the evening. I got up today (2/10) and it was back to brown when I wiped, then later a redish brown. I will be taking clomid on CD 3 -7, but I'm wondering if I should count today as day 3 since this is the 3rd day of discharge, or should I wait until the thrid day after I start seeing constant red flow?

I saw my last period in about the 2-3 week of December and I haven't seen it since. I took two tests one the week before last week Friday and last week Wednesday and they both were negative. I was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago. I had been taking clomid for 3 months when I found out I was pregnant. I had a miscarriage in Nov 08 at 8wks. My doctor performed a d&c. In Dec 08 and Jan 09 I have had very short brown spotting spells instead of my period. I have had the mild cramping and lower backache of a period but no true blood. I took a hpt and it came back negative. I wanted to know is this normal or should I see my ob-gyn.

Hello I had a bilateral ligation 8 years ago, the dr office said it was ligated with a suture and then cut! What does that mean? Where they coterized? Is this the one that can regrow themselves back together?

How effective is this procedure? I am having feelings of being pregnant but have had a couple of neg pregnancy tests, but have also had sore breasts, brown discharge (which I never have before a period is due), nausea, very tired. I am do for my period tomorrow, but still have a neg test yesterday (Sunday). Are HCG levels lower after a tubal?

Hello again, I posted that other in regards to having some pregnancy signs, I had a tubal 8 1/2 years ago, and in the last week I have been nauseated, really sore breasts, well I did do a pregnancy test the other day and it was Neg., but my period is not due til next Wed.

But today I hae been getting some brownish mucus when I go to the restroom. What do you think? What are the changes of a pregnancy? Do I have a high risk of it being a tubal pregnancy? (Never had one in the past)

I had dark brown spotting once 2 days back and then twice yday. Today morning I had 4-5 drops of pinkish red blood when I wiped. Its not a flow but occur only after wiping. But now the brown discharge is happening everytime I am wiping. I am also getting a white gel like thing with the brown discharge. Can anyone tell me if this is leading to a m/c?

Hello ladies

I have a regular period every 28 days.Its 30days and I m havin very light spotting(brown)starting from day 27(14dpo) with mild cramps off and on. Had unprotected sex a day b4 ovul. EPT says negative today. Is it to early to test?Any suggestions? Thanks
