Blood clots during cycle.

Hi, since being on this website I have learned that blood clots can cause problems. I never really realized that I had them as I thought it was just the way the lining shed. I have blood clots that range from pea to marble sized.

I also have long cycles with long AF. For example I am still spotting today on CD8.

Is this something I need to be worried about and discuss with my doctor? I have been TTC for 14 months now with no luck.

blood test

DR.Q, I have been reading on the internet about a blood test that can tell about ovarian reserve. Since my husband has said to put off a baby for another year because of him changing jobs, should I do this or am I over reacting? I am 27 will be 28 next May. No history of early menopause that I know of. Definatly not my mother. But like I have said earlier my mother was adopted so all I know about is my mother.

Blood Pressure question during periods

Dr Q,

Is there a reason why ones blood pressure increases only during periods and rest of the time tends to be normal?

My mother had the exact same thing going on and I have been experiencing this for the past 3 years.

Also, is the progesterone drop responsible for a mid cycle bleed/atrophic bleed and breakthru bleed?

Thank you!

TTC-HSG-Clomid-+HPT-Negative Blood Work

Question please Dr., HopeN, or Angelfish- My doctor put me back on my 2nd round of clomid at 50mg CD5-9 because she said progestrone test confirmed I did Ovulate (19.8).OK but she wanted to do a HSG on me to see if my tubes were blocked and I had one done 04/06 and everything was clear.I had a polyp removal(scraping of the uterus) and got pregnant immediately 20 days after. Had MC and 6months later pregnant again had another MC at 5 weeks. I had not been pregnant since and on my 1st round of clomid took a HPT on 12DPO got a BFP and hours later blood work confirmed negative so there you have it what am I to take from all this? Should I get another HSG after my +HPT even though it didn't sustain? I had my doc to check to ensure no polyps had grew back and I was very healthy in 01/08......Any Advise?

Private Cord Blood Banking-CBR

I just wanted to share with all of you that my husband and I decided to do the private cord blood banking. We chose CBR verses Viacord mainly from the stand point that it has been around for longer than Viacord and CBR publicizes their cell retrival rates. CBR also uses a newer style collection kit.

If anyone is interested in Cord blood banking and also chooses to go with CBR just let me know and I can send you a coupon for $150 off the enrollment fees. Good luck to all of you..:)

Husband with high white blood cell count in his semen

My husband just had a semen annalysis done. the numbers came back very low, and when we went to meet whis urologist, he told us that it was probably b\c the test detected an increase in white blood cells. He gave my husband an antibiotic to take, to kill the infection. He then said this should help the sperm not die as quickly. My question is I am wondering if after he is done with antibiotic if that really will help us be able to conceive. It has been 9 months of trying. Also, is is possible that he has always had this high WBC and that is the reason we have not coceived? We are young, fit, don't drink, smoke and I have been tracking my ovulation.

When is the right time to get a Beta test?

Hi, and thank you for your time. My surrogate was due for AF today and it was a no show so far. She is always like clockwork with a 24 day cycle. We may have miscalculated the ovulation day because we assumed that the OPK was defective, and she has had a BFN today and every day before today. When would be a good time to get blood work done? Did inseminations on July 14th, 16th, and 17th.

Well get this i got my +HPT on Tuesday morning around 5am and went to the dr to learn the blood work was negative.Started to bleed heavily until Wednesday afternoon and it lightenup until it was completly gone last night. If this was to be my cycle I am confused because My cycle last a t leat 3 full days and I just don't know what to make of this. I am waiting on my Beta results to come back because I dont want to waist another HPT saving for another time but what do you make of this?
To the Doctors...

I am 15 DP IUI, took a HPT yesterday, it was 100% positive, went in for blood work today.. the nurse says I am not pregnant.. I spotted a small amount of pink today, only when using the bathroom, now it has stopped.. I am rather baffled how I got a positive result on a HPT.. no period, and still not pregnant, please advise
