Spotting on CD 23...CONFUSED, Help

Ok,Dr.'s and Ladies: I need your help now. I'm simply baffled with my cycle this month!

Background: I have PCOS. I've been taking Metformin for about 2 months now and I take Prometrium 200 mg for part of the cycle. Last cycle was 72 days long, I think I did ovulate on CD 66 of that cycle which made for a 9 day Luteal Phase. The cycle before that one was 56 days with no ovulation at all.

Now on to THIS cycle. Today is CD 24. I don't think I ovulated yet. Last night, I started spotting and again today. (TMI warning)...It's kinda more than spotting, but not a full flow at all, not enough for a tampon or even a pad. Any ideas on what's going on? I don't know what this could mean. I know your can sometimes spot during ovulation and I also know about implantation bleeding. I don't think it's either of those things b/c like I said it's more than spotting, but it's also not a full-blown AF either. I took an HPT just in case and it was negative of course.

IUI 9dpo - starting bleeding this evening

Hi, I did an IUI on the 25th and Im on dpo 9 today. I just started to bleed this evening, its spotty and pinkish/brown. Im really concerned. Could this be caused from the progesterone or could it be implantation bleeding? Please help!

Dr q or anybody who knows the answer, please answer this!!! I'm still bleeding & I'm worried I shouldn't be...I had a miscarriage(missed miscarriage),the d&c to remove was on 8/25/08 & today's 9/3/08...so that's 9 days straight of bleeding!! I don't know if I should worry or not about bleeding still...is this normal at all? Has anyone bled for this long after d&c?! Is it possible I have my period back to back w/D&C bleeding?! PLEASE tell me because my appt for today got moved to 9/8/08!!

what is ovulation bleeding Im 40 years old and trying to get pregnant i have never had mid cycle bleeding before i had a baby 2 years ago and nothing like this happened. this has been happening for three day now and comes light to med. do you think this is ovulation bleeding?

I had an implantation bleeding right after i had a contraceptive pill. My period dates were suppose to be on August 23rd. Instead Implantation started on aug 14th to 20th. What could this be? Please help!!!

Bleeding after HSG (TMI but I really need help)

I had a saline ultra sound on 8-18-08 that made my period start early, then on CD 6 (8-25-08) I had an HSG. The dr said that there wasnt any bleeding from the procedure so I figured that I would stop my period on CD 7 like I normally do. Well it is now CD 9 and I am still bleeding, yesterday I thought that it had stopped but when I woke up this morning there was red blood again, but in the red blood there is this slimy almost gray discharge. Is this normal or is it a sign of an infection?

had mm/c in april and ERPC in june, waited 67 days for first af and now im on cd19 and have very light bleeding since yesterday, i have not ovulated as yet and im taking agnus castus & b6 complex & folic acid

We've suspected I'm pregnant, its been 2 weeks 6 days since we had sex. I had 4 drops of blood the following week and today I had horrible cramps and have been bleeding. Now it's stopped...I'M SO CONFUSED! What is going on? I had a negative urine test on wed. at the doctor's but I'm still holding onto hope. I'm not supposed to get my period until AT LEAST the 31st so I don't know whats going on.

Any ideas? Please I need some help...I'm completely lost.

Hi, My name is Andrea. I have been diagnosed with PCOS and i have been on Metformin 1700mg a day for about 4 months now. I have done 5 rounds of clomid and O'd always on it. This past cycle we did not do the clomid and i have spotted everyday after my Period. Its only a brown CM, but sometimes its pink when i wipe. I took a HPT to rule that out and its negative. What could be causing the abnormal bleeding??.I mean everyday seems odd to me. Is it the metformin trying to regulate me??.....thanks in advance - Andrea

My period came yesterday on CD27 which is early for me. I wasnt expecting it until Sunday at the earliest. Since coming off of BC a year ago AF has only last 2 days and is really light. It started out like that yesterday but this morning I am passing clots and having horrible cramps, the cramps are to the point of making me nauseous and I have a God awful headache.

My question is can a chemical make you bleed before AF is due? I never took an HPT and wasn't tracking anything this month but this is the heaviest I have seen my period since before BCPs. Or could they just be finally getting back to normal?

What is the normal time in which u bleed when u have had a m/c of only 4-5 weeks? I have been bleeding heavily for 4 straight days then yesterday the bleeding slowed down alot, now today im bleeding again, but not even close to being heavy.

Second Miscarriage

Hello everyone. I am 39 years old and have a lovely husband and two georgous children, one boy and one girl. I had my first miscarriage two years after the birth of my daughter. I was devastated. But shortly afterwards I got pregnant again and gave birth to my son. My daughter is now 13 and my son is 10. I am more than happy with one of each. About two months ago my period did not arrive, I'm always on time so I just knew I could possibly be pregnant. My husband and I were not trying for another baby but anyway I did a pregnancy test and it was positive. We were both shocked and wondered how we would manage bringing up another child. As time went on we started to enjoy the idea of having another baby and we both excited. We decided to keep it secret until I had my first scan. I booked an appointment with the doctor who confirmed that I was pregnant. Anyway I rang the midwife because I was concerned that I had started bleeding although it was very light. The midwife arranged for her colleague to call and see me the following day. By then I was bleeding heavier and found myself going to the loo frequently to check for blood. Then I started getting stomach cramps. I remembered the signs and knew that it wasn't good. The midwife called and organised an early scan two days later but in the meantime I had miscarried naturally. It was so hard and I cried myself to sleep. My husband has been a great support although we speak about it very little. I am not sure whether or not we will try again for another baby as I am so scared that I will miscarry again but being pregnant for such a short time before miscarrying has made me yearn for another, the right reasons I'm not sure? I am blessed that I have two lovely children already and I will always be eternally grateful for that. I'll finish by saying how glad I am that I found this site. XX

Is it possible?

I had a saline ultra sound done on Monday Aug 18 at 3:30 pm to check for a possible polyp. My dr told me that I would bleed a little after it was done but it shouldnt last more then 24 hours. Well it is now Wednesday Aug 20 1:30 pm and the bleeding has gotten heavier.

Is it possible that the ultra sound has caused me to start my period? Im not due for my next period for another 2 weeks, as my last one started on Aug 3rd.

Should I be worried about the amount of blood?

I had a saline ultra sound on Monday around 3 pm. The dr told me that the bleeding should only last about 24 hours, well it is now 10:00 am on Wednesday and I still have not stopped bleeding. It actually seems be getting heavier! Should I be worried and call my dr or should I wait a little longer?

Straight to the point...... 4 +hpt's -bloodwork, followed by 3 day "mini AF" 8 days of spotting. 4 days nothing. +opk, cm, spotting again. Today heavier spotting, still not full flow, but more than just on paper. Called Dr. today, they say heavier bleeding, go to ER. if it doesn't stop by monday, come to the office. Meanwhile, pelvic rest. What gives?

I have had 2 D and Cs. One in June then one just last week (8-4-08). The bleeding finally stopped. But I started spotting and have had heavy discharge. There is no foul smell, but I scared I start bleeding again. My husband and I have been trying to conceive our second child for over a year. I do have appt. with a fertility specialist tomorrow but I would like to another opinion as well. My GYN put me on progesterone and estrogen and meformin pills. But I think is only guessing what my problem is which is why Im going to a specialist.

Smearing/Spotting pre-ovulation/post-cycle on Clomid

Today is day five of my second Clomid cycle. I had unexpected smearing/spotting during two occasions today, and I'm only on day seven of my cycle. Stopped cycle bleeding on day four of cycle (duration of four days total). What is this unexpected bleeding/smearing? It seems to light to be my cycle again and too early to be ovulation bleeding.
