Ended up at er with bad cramping and heavy bleeding. Six weeks pregnant with twins and they saw that I have a subchorionic bleed. Could this cause cramping? Checked my cervix and h said it was open and that I would miscarry sometime through the night but haven't.. No cramps now bt still some bleeding.. WHAT DO WE DO NOW

Dr/Ladies a Question about povera

Well the doc decided to put me on provera to give me a break thru bleed. I have to take this for 7days and then should get break thru bleed. If I dont get a real af 6wks after break thru bleed then Im to do the same rotine again and so and so. Which I completely understand.

My question is because it is not actualy an af that I get but in fact a break thru bleed does that mean I can still ovulate at anytime? Because obviously I would not of ovulated if I have brought the bleed on by takeing povera. Just a question thats been playing on my mind and thought someone could help awser it....

Thanks for suggestions

I went to the specialist last friday. She told me I have PCOS. It was strange to hear this. I have Menstral problems since I was twelve years old. And for one doctor to finally figure it out felt good. It took 14 years but better late then never. Also she said that my regular GYNs doctor partner is the one that caused my bleeding problems. Because he kept given me Clomid and not checking on me, then just giving me Premirin to cause me to have a period (I should say spotting) So the lining in my uterius after 7 months of that became about 6 inches to thick. She told me that he should have been doing Ultra sounds to check if the clomid was working and NOT just guess what was going on with my body. I was shocked and very angry when to told me this. I knew he had something to with it and it made me upset that for the past 5 months instead of enjoying trying to conceive with my hubby for a second child I know have to do many tests and other things to get me healthy enough to try to get pregnant again. I hope by the begining of the year...I'll be able to try again and my daughter can look forward to having a little brother or little sister or twins!!! Thanks again.

miscarrige?

I had bleeding for 28 days, the first 10 days it was pinky/ red and was very light,i did a test and it was neg, then the bleeding became like a normal period for a few weeks but then it started to get really bad with lots of blood clots, i also noticed a little bit of water coming out, i thought it was just a little bit of urine cause cause sometimes i have a weak bladder, my doctor sent me to hospital, and they did a scan and seen a water sac with something inside it, but when they did a pregnacy test it was neg, after a internal, the doctor told me that my womb was open and that maybe the reason i was bleeding so heavy was that i was recently pregrant, i had a d+c that same day and have to wait until 17th june for the results and to see my gyno, what do u think? does it sound like a miscarrige even with 2 neg results?

provera

hi everyone! :0)

i have read many other posts on this site regarding my question, but havent quite got the answere.

Taking provera, i have learnt that it may not trigger a bleed and this could be because the endometruim is to thin, and there is nothing to shed. but how would we be able to nourish the endometrium, hence bringing on a period with provera?

also wouldnt the specialist that does the internal ultrasounds be able to see in the endo is thick enough for provera to work?

i got tiny bit of spotting on day 7 of provera and i am now on the 3rd day off it, and i know it could take up to 2weeks but i just dont fell she is going to come.

Sorry, but another question. can i still take clomid without getting a bleed? that are the risks of doing so? i will ring my docs tuesday if AF hasnt arrived.

thankyou all in advance!!!

****************BABY DUST*****************

Dr Q..

hi dr. Q..

in january i had a breakthrough bleed.. so the ending of the month i had my real af.. then on march 2 i began spotting and now it led to more.. but no red blood yet. still dark brown. like what you would have cd5.

could this be considered it as breakthrough bleeding again? (btw..i never used to have any breakthrough, i just have my af once a month)

and my real full flow hasn't begun so could i consider it as my af?

I didn't have af in feb. when it came march 2nd i believe, i began to spot. and today is march 5 and i've still been spotting..

and i know it don't count as an af until the full flow right?

so from this, what do you guys think?

when as i suppose to check my opk's?

Please let me know.Thank you..

Earlier last month i had my af, but it wasn't that heavy and that long either. then the ending of the same month i had my af again. then from what you guys said, the first af was breakthrough bleeding. so from having that, would it throw your af off?

would my cycles be longer because i had breakthrough bleeding?

Thank you!

Is this normal?

I'm a bit worried as my cycles haven't been right since I came off BC. My last menstrual cycle was Sept 6th I believe it was a cycle it was heavy and bright red, only lasted for 3 days. I was expecting to get AF around the 9th, I've been charting my cycle at mymonthlycycle.com, and it was estimated to come about the 9th. It's almost a week early. I'm so confused. I'm not sure how much I'm bleeding I seen it this morning light bleeding and I threw a tampon on, sorry TMI. I'm getting very discouraged and depressed, I'm so frustrated with my cycle.

Clomid without Progesterone withdrawl

Hello again Doc :)

I have appt next week with gyno. I had lmp 8/3. I have been spotting this week brownish and pinkish. I hope to get a script for Clomid next week. My question is.. My hubby is leaving for Iraq in Jan and we desperately want to conceive before he leaves. I am 34 and don't want to wait a year before trying again if possible.

Do you think it is alright to take Clomid without doing a progesterone withdrawl bleed first? I had a withdrawl bleed 8/3. I have read where it is done now, if so - how is it usually done?

TIA~!

Provera

I've been taking provera since September 1st and my OBGYN told me to take it for ten days. Well, last night was the 10th day and still no period. Also, is there a difference in taking provera in the evening than in the morning? when should my period start? thanks!!
