How to know when you're ovulating

My boyfriend and I have been trying to have a baby for almost a year now and no luck. I'm sure the problem is knowing when I ovulate. I have tried the Ovulation kit but no luck. Is there anyway to have a period and not ovulate? How can I know exactly when I ovulate?

He i stand at 10dpo and i keep thinking the last few days I'm feeling a little woozy. Ive been getting BFN of course so I'm just telling myself its to early to test. This morning how ever i was just staring the darn test down, like if i look at you hard enough you darn stick the line i want will appear :)...... Keeping my fingers crossed and getting a little nuts over here!!!!

My husband and I have been TTC for several months, though this is my 3rd medicated cycle with my reproductive endocrinologist (RE). I have been on 100mg of Clomid for CD3-CD10. I triggered with Ovidrel on Saturday, 2/20 and had an IUI (never had one before) on Monday, 2/22.

My husband had the full workup this cycle, they did a semen analysis on him for the first time and of course, a sperm wash before my IUI. His count was 21 million and the motility was great. As for me, I had 3 good follicles (I think).

I know I shouldn't have tortured myself by taking a test because the HCG from the trigger can create a false positive, but I couldn't help it. I wanted to do *something* I guess, instead of just waiting around...I wanted to know if the HCG was still in my system or not. Well, I got a BFN yesterday, which was 8 DPO.

Bottom line...I know it's too way early to get a BFP under normal circumstances, but is it possible to still be pregnant this cycle even though I got a BFN yesterday? I just thought if you triggered, an HPT would show positive all the way from time of trigger (false positive) until HCG from true pregnancy was in my system. Now that I got a BFN, I'm really sad that maybe there isn't hope that I will get a BFP in a few days. :(

Sorry to babble...I've scoured the net trying to find anything on this, and haven't had any luck....

Do you see a 2nd line on this hpt or is this an evap teasing me? In a summary I thought I had a chemical m/c but the bleeding was short & stopped, had some breast tenderness & what I thought was a FAINT bfp last nite, but the urine test in the ER was bfn...so idk I'm gonna get a beta Monday hopefully & was wondering if you ladies see a second line or is it an evap line?

What is the probability of pregnant, when 4 days late for my period?

I am now 4 days late for my period. I have a pattern to my cycles, one month my cycle is 31 days long, the next is 37 days, the next is 31, the next is 37, etc, so on and so forth. My December-January cycle was definitely 37 days long, meaning this one should have been the 31 day cycle. It's already day 36, 1 negative home pregnancy test, and tons of progesterone/pregnancy symptoms.

I got a positive OPK on day 18 (which corresponds with my short cycle, I generally get a positive OPK on day 25 in my long cycles) along with EWCM from day 14 until day 20. I also had mittleschmertz pains on days 17, 18, and 19. My husband and I made love during that time period. I did not chart this cycle, as I thought it was putting more stress on me than I needed.

So, I guess I'm really wondering how likely it is that, despite all the ovulation signs, that I did NOT ovulate?

My last period was 12/21/2009 and my cycles are 31 days long.. they hav been coming on every month like clockwrk on the same day the 21st..but this month i didnt get AF i am now 5days late, i took a hpt last nite and it was a bfn..Is it too early...

Hi,

I am 31 healthy female and my husband who is 45 has a low sperm count.

He underwent a vasectomy reversal in June 2007 and 5 weeks later our daughter was conveived - 1st try. She is now 19 months old and we have been trying for a second baby for over a year.

My husband underwent a sperm analysis and his counts are now low. We tried 1 iui and it did not work. Do you think it is still possible to get pregnant with iui or should we move on to another method?

3rd round of clomid and now no period?

i have been on clomid as me and my partner have been trying for a long time to have a baby, i have alot of fertility problems but the clomid made my period come regular and now its late? i took a test but it was neg? now i don't know what to do? i don't know if maybe the clomid has stopped working?

what could be causing this? i have to call the hospital next week if my period is still not started but i am sooo confused?

any ideas?

Hello all, I had a missed miscarriage in July 2009. On July 15,2009 i had the d and c done..I bleed for about a week after that.. Then around August 11,2009 i started having some spotting. I assumed this was not my period because i have read that you can't get your period until your hcg levels reached 5 or below. But any way i had off and on spotting thru out the whole month of August. Then on Sept 8,2009 i went in to my ob to get my levels checked they were at 5..I started having sum spotting again for about a week maybe. I used opt's on 9/18 - 9/21 and they all read a positive result.. I havnt had AF since and at 9 and 10dpo i got bfn..Y-day i also got a bfn and my period is about 9days late now...I am praying to God to get my BFP...

I took opt's on 9/19-9/22 and they all showed a positive result...Af was suppose to show on 10/6 and my period is now 7 days late..I took a hpt today and it was a bfn..Should i count myslf out or wait a lil longer to retest..i have no signs that af is coming by the way..

16 dpo and No AF but Neg hpt. Why?

I have 28 day cycles every month. LP is 14 days and O is 14th day. Very simple cyles. But now I am 16 dpo cd 30 and tested hpt on cd 29 and cd 30 all fmu and bfn. So could there not be enough hcg to show yet or am I just having a prolonged LP or what? Had cramping like AF was here but its not. On and Off cramping now but still no AF.

I am 42.5 and no stims last two cylces. I did bd the night before O and 2 nights before O. Any ideas?

Okay well i had a missed miscarriage july 15 2009 and my hcg finally reached 5 on September 8 and my doctor told me that was considered as a 0 because it was so low.I started bleeding on the 8th as well. I started taking opt's around 9/19-9/22 and they were all positive. Well today i am 9dpo and i took a hpt becuz i was hoping for good news..Should i give up hope or retest..

Gutted and sore after PFN after clomid...?

did anyone feel really sore when they got their period after being on Clomid? i feel more gutted today about not being pregnant than before, we have been trying for 21months which i know isn't so long to some people. but i am so gutted and know that every time we fail with clomid the closer we get to the end of our clomid treatment and the end of our dreams.

i feel terrible and feel bad for my partner.

Okay ladies, I'm looking for some help here. I tested yesterday (13DPO) with a CB easy early detection digital and it said BFN. I am taking that as a sign that its definitely a BFN for me this month. I have heard of some people getting a BFN at 12DPO only to get their BFP 16DPO. Have any of you ladies experienced this. If so please let me know...(what day you first tested and got your BFN, and then your BFP.)

I thought for sure this was it for me this time. I feel way different than I did on my last round of clomid. I think my body is just playing tricks on me this time. I know I'm not out until AF shows but I don't feel too confident that I'll end this round with a BFP after I just got a BFN yesterday at 13DPO :(

No period For Almost 3 MONTHS, and BFN??

My LMP was June 5th 2009.

I have had Some Slight Spotting 2 Weeks After that Then NOTHING.

I have Not gotten a Positve HPT, But I do Have Some Signs That Confuse me.

June and July I was Very Nauseous, August Severe Heartburn (Never have heartburn, and HAdnt eaten anything to cause it either) Breasts are tender.

And the Thing that REALLY bothers ME is These Sharp pains I have had since I Spotted, They are In the Lower Right Side (Ovary area I believe) and Im worried. I had similar paind with My son and My progestrone was low. So Could This be a Pregnancy, A Cist, OR ????

BFN after Bravelle,menopur and clomid with trigger still no AF

I was prescribed clomid,menopur and Bravelle in my last cycle. I triggered on CD 14. I am now on cd 39. still no AF . I had some light spotting on CD 32, is it possible that I could have "Oed" later than 36 hours after trigger? Could I be PG?
