Trying to Conceive and spotting before my period

I have been to a family Dr. as my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 18 months and nothing. My blood work is normal and my husbands semen analysis is normal too, we will now move onto the next step......question?? The Dr. does not seem too concerned about my spotting dark blood 3 days before my period. Do I need to be concerned about this, as I feel this may be the reason we are not conceiving. I was on Oral contraceptives for 14 years. My period is the exact same every month, spotting and then my normal period. What could be causing the spotting?

Stopping Progesterone- Before AF is Due?

I am due for Af tomorrow- and I am on progesterone vaginal support ( 7 DPO/ CD21 my level was 29) I am taking it as a "just in case"... My question is if I stop it on my own and I do not get my period , does that mean I could be pregnant- I am aware progesterone can delay AF- but I have been told if it does and NOT pregnant- AF will start 2-3 days after stopping progesterone

ALSO: I normally get AF symptoms, cramping a day or so before- I do not have any, can progesterone mask these symptoms ?

I am not one to test till at least a week late- too many dissapointments this past year-

TTC..confused

My husband and I have been TTC for a few months now. I have a normal cycle meaning every month, number of days not so normal. Last month my period was very short and spotty, and in October I didn't get one at all. I took a HPT a few days before my period and it was negative and I waited until I was a week late to take another and it is still negative. I've been having lower abdominal pains ( I get them a lot but not like this ), I was just kind've confused because I always get cramps before my period, and I was experiencing some, but still no period and it's never been this late before. What could be going on?

Can I take clomid before getting a period?

Hi! I had my last shot of lupron depot Sept.29th for endometriosis. Before that, I had a laparoscopy in 2005. I am finished with provera therapy to bring on menses to than hopefully start clomid as directed by my doctor. I'm 9 days post provera. I took it for 5 days 5mg 2x daily. My doctor told me when I went there this month that I had two choices. Either take the provera and start clomid once my cycle starts or go straight into taking clomid. Since I didn't get a period, is it ok on day 14 or earlier to start the clomid at 100mg? Thank you so much!!! Dr. Q I know I'm such a pain asking so many questions, but you have taught me a lot. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for it! -Katie

Spotting 4 days before Period

Dear Dr.

Is it normal to spot 4 days prior to your period. This has been happening for the past 3 months. I came off my BC about 5 months ago. My doctor did hormone test for LH, FSH, TSH and everything was normal. She did not to Progesterone test because she said this just might be how my cycle is and since the spotting is cyclic, she is not concerned. We are trying to conceive and I am worried that I am wasting time. She said next cycle we can test progesterone. Is it normal to have spotting? Also, should I take B6 Vitamin? I am so nervous, we have been TTC for 3 months and no luck. I am worried about the spotting, but she thinks its ok. Do a lot of people get this? Thanks so much!!

Dr. can you please suggest Letrazole/Femera

Hello,

I have done Clomid, follistim with 2 IUIs and Follistim and Menopur for IVF and none have worked. In December I am doing LAP/Hysteroscopy. When I call the dr. today to set up apt for Dec. do you think it would be completely silly to ask if I can do letrazol or Femera for this one more month before LAP/Hysteroscopy or I should just wait for the testing? THANKS!!!!

He doesnt have a sperm count/issue but I just want to make sure theres alot of them.

Also.. I have 13 follicles on each side.. is that a good amount to work withand w/ the Femara 2.5mg and Gonal F injectables 37.5mg about how many will be mature and how long will it take to get mature? And my lining is 5.3mm and they want 7mm on the day of O. About how long does it take to get that much?

Sorry for all the questions but this is my 1st time at IUI.

What did your dr/ped recommend in regards to bathing b/f stump falls off?

The reason I ask is when my son was born 3 yrs ago, he was premie and was in the nicu for a few days. The nurses helped me give him his first few baths, and reasured me that its no longer needed to sponge bathe until the stump falls off...and so we did a regular bath and nothing ever happened..it healed up fine. BUT I am still reading that sponge bath is recommended. Any ideas or thoughts?

LH Surge before trigger shot???? HELP

I have an IUI scheduled for Saturday morning. I was instructed to take my trigger shot tonight. I'm on CD13. I kind of feel like I'm surging now... IF I surge now, won't Saturday be to late for the IUI? I asked my RE earlier today if I did surge before I take my shot what that meant. She said it just means you ovulate earlier. Again though, wouldn't Saturday be too late then? I'm so scared I'm going to miss "perfect timing"... And we can't BD as you have to stay abstinate for a certain amount of time before the IUI, i'm so worried.

brown tinted egg white cm when period is due...

Period was due today and all I have is a lot of slightly brown tinted egg white cm. This is cycle day 31 for me and 15 days past ovulation. I usally have 2 days of thick brown cm before period, but not this month. Could this just be my period comming on, or could I still have a chance of being pregnant? My HPTs 2 days ago came back negative.

IUI before varacose vein surgery

Can I request to do IUI before my husbands varacose vein surgery? I haven't seen the infertility specialist yet. But my obgyn referred me to them. Could I get in right away for an IUI or is it not that simple?

Hi, need to know

my last period was on 17th Aug and we bd'ed alternate days frm 23rd to 3rd sept. 5 days b4 my due periods, occasionaly it bleeds in the CM. Is it normal? Plus the breasts are a little sore since last 20 days. IS it correct to use a HPT on 14th? or is is just PMS?

Position of twins

By usually what point in a twin pregnancy will the babies be in their "final" position. At what point are they still able to turn around. I am 30 weeks and 3 days along with my twins and both babies have been head down the entire time so far. Today when I went for a check up they said that Baby A has turned head up. What are the chancs of that baby turning back and at what point are they less likely to be turning?
