What are appropriate Estrogen levels for first few days of period?

I have been having light, brown spotting with some red here and there. I have been on Metformin for three months now and becoming regulated. I went in for blood work to see if it was start of my menses and the nurse said my estrogen was 52? Is that a good level for a few days into a period? I am not doing a medicated cycle this month, so haven't got much info from the nurse. Thanks!

8/14/08 - My Baseline

My nurse just called me and told me to start taking the Provera. This morning was my ultrasound and bloodwork. Here are the results:

Estrogen: 48.6 (normal)

Progesterone: .2 (normal)

Uterine lining is very thin (4.4 - whatever that means).

How crucial is it to have the baseline ultrasound on CD3 for IUI?

My dr is requiring the baseline ultrasound on CD3 as we begin the IUI process. As luck would have it, I will be returning from a business trip on CD 3 and unable to have the procedure.

Baby dust.

High Progesterone on Day 3

I had a baseline (day 3) ultrasound this week. Because my lining was very thick, the dr. ordered hcg and progesterone bloodwork to confirm that I was not pregnant before we proceed with femara, injectables, and timed intercourse. I was not pregnant. However, my progesterone level was 88. What could cause this to be so high? Should I be concerned? Additional info: I was on clomid for 6 months during which time my progesterone levels varied from 5 - 35+, but never higher than 40. I had several follicles in each ovary.

Ok..so had my baseline u/s b/f moving onto injectables.....

And its 'a go'. U/s and estradiol looks great. I have 17 follicles already in there naturally! That seems like a lot?!

I'll be starting clomid tomorrow on cd3 and follistim next Tuesday! If all goes well, we'll have an iui by St. Patricks' Day!!!

YEAH!

Pray for my eggies! Maybe the Easter bunny will make em special! LOL
