hi, doctor or ladies

im going to bee doing ivf soon... when i went to my ivf consultation my doctor talked to me about the ivf she also said that she recomends to trasfer 1 egg cause of my age and cause i only have little problems like i dont have one of my tubes and i have irregular periods but i really want to trasfer 2 eggs cause i want to have more chances of conceiving do you think they will let me trasfer 2 back even tho my doctor recomended only 1????? and also she mention that i was going to be on bcpills for 21days and after the bcpills i was going to be on injectibles for 2weeks and she said after that it was the retreval so i just wanted to know if this is how ivf really works or does it take more time and more medications thank you.....

Follicle Question

So today I went in for an SIS because my HSG came back with a spot on my Uterus. Well everything turned out OK! )

I'm on CD 7 and she gave me Clomid to start tonight days 7-11. We saw 10 Follicles on one Ovary and 24 on my other one. Of course they aren't near mature yet.

My question is.....Is that amount of Follicles normal? Will they go away as Ovulation (If clomid works) nears ? I ask because my husband and I would like for me to have one more cycle before doing Clomid and an IUI, but if this many follicles are rare we don't want to pass this chance up.

Hi DR Q,

My question is we are TTC and was woundering and going to try to ask this the best with about geting you gross out.lol Ok dose it matter how much a man ejactlates to get a women pergent? Sometimes my husbands shoots alot then others time just very very little. I was woundering if this was normal and if he ejlites really small amounts can you still get pergent?

Clomid question...how many eggs can it produce?

I ovulate on my own every month..just at different times each month..I have ovulated as early as Day 12 and as late as day 22. If I took Clomid would that make me produce more than one egg or just one?...I've been thinking about asking my doc for it to give DH's sperm more targets but if it will only produce one then it seems like it wouldn't be worth it..I produce one on my own. Any advice?

i first had clomid 50mg and 2 follies.second time which is this time here i took 50mg clomid and 1 follie with iui.what would be the next step since the follies are decreasing meaning 2 then 1.Thanks

Hi Ladies, I have my ultrasound tomorrow morning and I couldn't be more excited! I just wonder if any of you have tips in regards to drinking all that water without peeing! I was instructed to drink 60 ounces of water starting 2 hrs bebore my appt and finishing 1 hr before...my problem is that I will NEVER be able to hold it that long. So, what did ya'll do? Can I drink the water on the way to the appt and still have it do what its supposed to?? Any tips appreciated.... thanks!!!!!

Dose it matter if the male only shoots a small amount? I mean, maybe he is not shooting enough up into me?

And does it matter if it falls out? Maybe it is not going up into me far enough? It all seems to ooze out.
