January 13 - CD1 - Anyone care to join me??

Well after 4 months of recovering from 2 miscarriages (July & September) I am ready to try again. I NEVER thought that I could ever even think about trying again as the previous 2 m/c killed me!

But I am feeling good again. Went to the RE - learned absolutely nothing (except that testing is expensive).

I am on cd2 today and actually looking forward to trying again!!!

Anyone close to cd 1 want to join me?? I would love the company!

Trying again after 2 miscarriages??

Hey Ladies! I am wondering if I can get some advice/help. In July I had my first m/c. I was 5 wks. In Sept I had my 2nd m/c at 7 wks. I havent even been able to THINK about ttc again and I have felt completely broken and terrified!!

So DH and I have been talking, i am due for AF in the next day or so and we are thinking about trying again this next cycle. I am TERRIFIED. I can't see it not happening again. All I know is miscarriages. How can one keep trying whan that's all they know is miscarriage??

I have done the whole miscarriage workup and HSG and everything and it all came back normal. The Dr. put me on progesterone and baby asprin (I was on the baby asprin the 2nd m/c too) but we know noting else.

There are times I think I can try again adn then times that I think it will kill me to have another m/c. What do I do???

I know the outcome of a good pregnancy is "worth it" but what if that baby never comes???? Is it possible to have nothing BUT miscarriages??

Thanks for any advise that you might have. I do appreciate it!!!

trying to get pregnant...again at 34 years old

I have two children ages 11 and 9. My youngest has cerebral palsy, which is why we have waited so long. We have tried for over a year to get pregnant again. I am 34 years old, and my husband is 37. The ultrasound showed my uterus lining was too thick. The followup biopsy was normal. The HSG tests was normal. Ovulation has been normal until this past month after the HSG. We feel like we are running out of time with our ages. What can we do now? My husband is buying boxers today! We cut out the hot tub last year! Any other suggestions or possible reasons I am not getting pregnant? Thank you...

Combined Protocol ... Any suggestions!?!?!?

These are the doctors suggestions:

We've decided on a combined protocol...

CD1 - Call doctor to inform him AF is here.

CD2 - Baseline B/W

CD3 thru CD7 - Clomid 150mg

CD8 - General U/S (RE loves seeing the fact that my follicles dont grow)

CD9 thru CD12 - (2) 75iu of Gonal-F a day.

CD12 - Start using OPK

CD13 - U/S to measure follicles for any growth.

RE doesnt really think this will work (since Ive been on clomid for so long) but i wanna give it a try and DH insist this will work. He said if this doesnt work they i have to stop being stubborn and do the full injection cycle :-(

Love my RE. He's very patient with us.

***The Twist: the tricky part is that he is not giving me a HCG injection with the combined protocol. He says that Im too tiny and young(like i didnt know that) and DH has a very good sperm count so he doesnt want to many babies in their.

Sorry for this being so long... question is... since i ovulate on clomid but my folllicles dont get big, will the FSH injection help? even without the HCG?

He said start OPK on CD12, when i used clomid 100mg on cd3-7 i dont ovulate until cd21 and when i do it on cd2-6 i O on cd16, so will the fsh earlier if combined with clomid in a higher dose?

They is driving me nuts.

Please help!!!

Thanks for suggestions

I went to the specialist last friday. She told me I have PCOS. It was strange to hear this. I have Menstral problems since I was twelve years old. And for one doctor to finally figure it out felt good. It took 14 years but better late then never. Also she said that my regular GYNs doctor partner is the one that caused my bleeding problems. Because he kept given me Clomid and not checking on me, then just giving me Premirin to cause me to have a period (I should say spotting) So the lining in my uterius after 7 months of that became about 6 inches to thick. She told me that he should have been doing Ultra sounds to check if the clomid was working and NOT just guess what was going on with my body. I was shocked and very angry when to told me this. I knew he had something to with it and it made me upset that for the past 5 months instead of enjoying trying to conceive with my hubby for a second child I know have to do many tests and other things to get me healthy enough to try to get pregnant again. I hope by the begining of the year...I'll be able to try again and my daughter can look forward to having a little brother or little sister or twins!!! Thanks again.

I'm a week and a half late on my period...

and I took a test last friday and it came back negative. Do you think that maybe it could have been too soon to test?? This cycle has been weird.. i had mid-cycle spotting, I'm NEVER late for my period. I had sex right around ovulation so there is a chance that i could have gotten pregnant. I know if I don't start I need to go to the doctor, but my question is do you guys think that I should try another test?? I'm not having any of my normal signs that my period is getting ready to come on either. I just don't want to go and buy a test if that one i took was more than likely accurate. Many I ovulated later (happened with my first pregnancy that ended in miscarriage) than I thought and it was too soon?? Have any of you taken a test and it took a while to come up positive? Should I test again or is it safe to assume that I'm probably not pregnant??

BETA confirmed BFN, big surprise, lol!

Now on CD51 & still no AF, arrgggghhhh!!!

RE is calling in provera to finally start my cycle. Yea! They will be able to look at the cyst soon!!!!!!!!!

PS, the BFN is no shock or anything, just thought I'd share, lol!

Also, they did offer me a shot to start AF instead of the pills-sd it was just a mild progesterone shot. I opted for the pills cause I did not want to sit on a sore tushy all day at work :))

DR Q!!!! ??????????

I was told by my Dr that I could ttc again if I wanted to. My ectopic sergury was on March 6 and I spotted about 4 wks later, then I just induced a flow recently b/c I have not had anything after or even a heavy flow. He said I could try or give it another month and start prenatals and that would be better, but if I became pregs on this O time it would be fine too. What is your opinion? Please help me with what to do. I am lost and torn. I really want to try again........
