Progesterone shot question...

Ok, so I'm on progesterone shots til the 27th (at least). My poor butt is soo sore both sides that I have huge welts. My question is...with my muscles being that tight, is my body going to absorb the progesterone properly?

Thanks!

Iron supplements - best time to take???

Hi Dr. Q or another doc,

My doc suggested I take an iron supplement in addition to my prenatal vitamin since I'm not anemic, but close to being borderline anemic. My question is - Can I take this at the same time as my prenatal vitamin or does this have to be separate? I take my prenatal vitamins and DHA supplement at breakfast, then take a calcium/vitamin D supplement at lunch and dinner. I know I can't take the iron with the calcium since the calcium may inhibit the iron absorption, so that limits when I can take the iron. A nurse/NP at work suggested the "slow-release Fe" iron supplement so that's what I bought. Please advise...thank you!

I haven't forgotten about everyone and still read the posts, but don't always have time to reply to the posts. I always keep you in my thoughts and prayers :)))

Hugs,

Jen
