hi ladies im new here and it seems a great place for answers and advice and prayers from all u wonderful ladies that r ttc as well here is my story

i am 34 and have pcos we have been ttc for 11 months i have done 6 months of clomid and fell preggo in may and m/c at 10 weeks so i had a break from clomid i have been back on it for 2 months and i went to hospital 2 days ago for 3 days i was in there with unbearable pain they gave me morphine and i had a u/s and they found a 18mm follicle and the surgeon came and tokd me to go home and make love with dh so i did even thru the pain i havent had clomid since the 12th oct and i had a weird bleed on the 16th when my af wasnt due until the 5th nov i dont feel i am ovulating or any symtons excpet hot flushes i dont know why i had a bleed and why do i still have hot flushes im so confused as the docs made it hard to understand wat to do about all this he said i will fall preggo and i wont get af but i dont know wat to do do i take the pill and get af so i can start the clomid again please help me understand all this xxx thank u all and baby dust to everyone xxxx sorry its so long but i am totally lost about this alot of it is so new to me xxxx

Wanted to start a post where we can all tell eachother about us, aside from TTC. I'll be posting pictures and posting about my life and stuff... to give you guys a better understanding of who I am =) It should be fun to see other pics of eachother and learn more about eachother, I think so anyway! I dont know about you ladies but I find it hard to read everyones journeys and often times the journeys are out dated so this will should help some =)

I know I shouldnt worry but I just cant help it. I have had 2 m/c's one was a natural m/c and one was a blighted ovum. Both ended within the 6th week. I am now 7 weeks and 6 days. I saw a healthy heartbeat at 7 weeks. I am so worried about having a missed m/c. I was woundering what are the odds I would have one? Are there any symptoms of a missed m/c? I know I shouldnt worry about things like this but I cant help it after having 2 m/c's.

I have decided to make a post about me and my journey.

I would love to tell people who i am and meet people i have not yet spoken to. I think that to get to know people you have to put yourself out there.

I will start of from the start, my name is nicole. I am 25, married to a wonderful man. I am blessed with three amazing children and they keep me busy,LOL.

around 2 years ago i had a missed m/c with twins at 18 weeks, it destroyed my thought on everything i hated almost everything. I finally built up the courage to love life and started to explore the unknown business of fertility and m/c, that is when i found this site. i have learnt quit alot from women who have been through what i have, and everyone on this site has given me strenghth to make it to the next month.

In march i had a chemical pregnancy, but i held my head high and learnt what all this meant.

This month i also had another chemical though i was upset i had so many wonderful ladies here who helped by just being there.

i am now cd 14 and giving it all i have to be a mummy again.

thank you for reading my story and would love to meet all of you at some point.

Ok so I havent told my dad or step mom that im pregnant, but ive told my district manager due to I need some days off. Well my step mom came to eat lunch with me. She said it was hot and he was like I agree now I know your pregnant and everything but still. She looked at him and had this blank look on her face. She then turned and looked and me and asked me I was like yeah im 9 weeks. I wanted to wait until I was 12 to tell them but guess that isnt happening. My dad is on a fishing trip and wont be back tomorrow. Should I go ahead and tell him or wait?

Ok so I keep getting advice from family saying to wait to tell Carleigh till I am "really" showing because 8 months is a long wait for a child..But I kinda feel like that wouuld be liying to her? She is very smart and more like 15 not 5 she no's how long time is and is very mature for her age I feel like I should tell her soon? I want to do it in a really special way but need some ideas..She is the love of my life she is my bestest friend and I want to make sure it makes her feel happy and that she is a part of the process. If anyone has advice I wouuld love it!!!! thanks

Very excited as I finally got a period after my miscarriage. It took almost 10 weeks. Now I hope that I ovulate as well. Have been reading the posts about clomid. Would love to ask my doc but feel uncomfotable as I do ovulate on my own. I just would love to be pregnant again . Would you ask? Also would a local doctor be able to prescribe it, or would you have to ask a gyno. Sorry for the long post

Hi Dr. Q! I was reading about this study and wanted to know about your thoughts.

"Dutch research shows children born using test-tube baby techniques have higher blood pressure and higher glucose levels in puberty than their naturally-conceived peers, the NRC Handelsblad reports on Thursday.

The research was carried out at Amsterdam’s Vrije University and looked at over 200 children. It will be published soon in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism.

‘In vitro fertilisation can be as unnatural for an embryo as being exposed to a shortage of food or stress,’ professor Henriette Delemarre tells the paper. ‘An egg cell is fertilised in a dish with nutrients.’

The difference in blood pressure between the test tube babies and a control group was small, Delemarre said, but it was enough to increase the risk of developing heart disease in adults. ‘IVF is so accepted but we really know very little about its long-term safety,’ she told the paper.

Some 1.5% of Dutch babies are born following IVF treatment."...this came from a european site that I always read...

Will after the lost of my son last yr at 21 weeks due to a car accident I've been having problem trying to concieve.Soooo my doctor on the 14th gave me 50mg of clomid to start if I get my cycle next month.My question is what's the % rate of this drug actually working and some of the side-effects.I'm 31 yrs old,I do have a 12 yr old from a prior relationship but hubby has no kids and he's soon to be 40.Any advice you can provide with on this drug would be great!Thanks

Hello ladies!

As I said on my previous post "Placenta previa", I haven't forgotten about you all. I don't have as much time to get on here and respond to posts, but I still get on when I have a chance to stay updated with everyone. You're still in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm now 25 weeks pregnant today :) Gosh, I can't believe I'm that far along already and approaching the 3rd trimester. I'm getting a little scared and nervous, but I guess that's normal for 1st time moms. We have decided to name our little guy Jacob.

hi my name is alesia im 18 i have a year old named aardel and a husband named ashton. my last period was pretty close to being a honeymoon baby lol we took a test after we got married but we conceieved about a month before that (my last period anyway) ive been married for almost 2 years and on may 4th we are going to renew our vows because we had some issues last summer so we think that a new beging to something we already had would be a great idea, i came to this site 5 days ago because i thought i missed my period but really i jsut had a late ovulation (i had no idea that that could happen) well i started my LP (i still dont know the sites language so im hoping LP meens period) well i had my period for ONE day!! and now im more confused than ever, my cycle has never been this messed up so i just really need some one to explain everything to me cuz i have no idea what im going through... i never thought i would need to know about ovulation dates or.... just all that since my last period came so naturally!!! EVERYONE ON THIS SITE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!

my bestfriends have been trying to have a baby for about 4 years now and still nothing. she dose not get her periods unless she takes birth control pills. i'm not sure what to say the doctor says shes good and his says the same please help with some advice for them thanks
