A little scared

I have my first OB visit today and I am a little scared about being able to hear the heartbeat. I had an ultra sound done at 7 wks and 2 days and the heart rate was 152 and the baby measured just fine. What are the chances we will hear the heartbeat tomorrow through a doppler? I only weigh 110, maybe a little more. I am nervous due to the fact that a friend of mine heard her babies heartbeat the day before I had my u/s and then a couple days later she m/c. I havent had any sever cramping nor any bleeding. Just some pulling and mild cramps here and there during the day. This is my first and we were ttc for 21 months! I just want this to be a sticky lil bean! Just wanted some advice! ;o)

Thanks!

my period is been going on for 10 days now? Why won't it stop?

I have been on my period for 10 days now. The first couple of days it was spotting, then it got heavier. I now have no energy at all. I am completely wiped out. My female parts were hurting really bad earlier. I was on clomid 2 months ago. Should I be worried and go to a doctor? The bleeding seems like it is getting heavier and not lighter. Any advice would be appreciated.

two heartbeats

Dr. Q,

I am 10 weeks pg and have had four ultrasounds so far. My first three ultrasounds showed one healthy heartbeat. Today the ultrasound showed what looked like two heartbeats pulsing at two different rhythms. The dr said this could be a pulse from the umbilical cord or twins. I have a high tech ultrasound on wednesday but am going to go crazy in the mean time. My question is how common is it for a twin to appear after this much time? and is it possible that this is just the umbilical cord?

hpt at 10 DPO

Hi Dr.,

I had a blood test on Monday to check my Progesterone level and it came back at 7.9 on 7DPO. I was curious when i should actually take a HPT, I do not want it to come back negative if I am testing too early. My RE said that there is a strong chance that I am pregnant but I do not feel any symptoms of AF or pregnancy. Thank you for your time!

Dr Q..hcg shot question

Hi Dr. I've read so many different things online as to when the hcg shot comes out of your system. You say 8 days, some say 10...my dr says up to 14. Could it really vary that much for some women? Or do you say 8 as a 'general' rule of thumb?

Thanks so much Dr. Q!

Friend feeling baby move at 10 weeks 2 days....

Is this even possible? I think she is lying. You would think at 10 weeks 2 days they would be too small for that but maybe I am wrong. What do you think?
