Hi Dr. my husband and I have been ttc x10months and nothing. I then missed my period for over 3 months and have been going to my OBGYN for it. I Still have not had my period and I'll start taking Provera for it. While treating me they decided to test my husband too. The results of his sperm count was zero and they found some white cells too. He is 28 yrs old and healthy (that we know of). We have an appointment for next week with an urologist. I'm so nervous that I can barely sleep. Is this something that can be reversed? Could we still dream of being parents? Please help....

This is not uncommon, and now the Urologist will check to see if sperm is present or not...
About 40% of the time, sperm will be present, just the outlet tubes (vas deference) are blocked, not allowing them to release...If this is the case, direct sperm extraction (TESE) from the testis can be done with IVF to give you a pregnancy...reversal is not really an option
Good luck, and keep us posted...
