Z-Pack Safe When Pregnant?

Thank you Dr. Q and Chels!! I'm still so nervous... about it. I'm SO scared that I'll hurt the little bean, it's still so little. :-(

I haven't seen a heartbeat yet or a fetal pole. :-(

Ive heard that having strep while pregnant - is not a good thing, so definately DO NOT wait- start those meds and get rid of it!

No wonder you felt like crap! Strep sucks!!!!!

LOL. You're right Lori, I'm being OVERLY cautious... I'm just completely freaked to inadvertently hurt the bean...I've just come so far.... I would die if something happened. But you're absolutely right, i'm doing more harm than good. :-)

OK, another problem: now that i've resolved to take my meds... I'm having problems with eating... won't the meds be too much for me with my stomach empty? Oh and I'm feeling really bad nausea. :-( Morning sickness SUCKS. There, i've said my peace. LOL

i would try to eat some dry toast of microwave popcorn or some thick italian bread b4 you take the meds..... i always kept some sort of cracker with me when i was preggo so i could munch anytime i needed to. Regular soda crackers and those cheese crackers with peanut butter inside were great.

Yes, eat with the meds or you will be throwing up from that and not the pregnancy.

Try eating things that are dry and tasteless, no butter or oil helps to "soak up" that yucky feeling :)

I feel terrible when people say that they have strep - i lived with strep when i was younger - FINALLY after years of missing school and being in pain several times a year they took out my tonsils when i was in 8th or 9th grade - best thing i ever did, been strep free for many many years and i love it!!

Thank you Chels. I like you kept getting strep when i was younger and my dr. finally said that if i get one more case of it that i would have to have tonsils removed so i .... just never went back to him. LOL

Sounds like i should have gotten mine removed. It's SO miserable and so gross to look at (in the mirror with a bright flashlight). :-)

Okay, so i definitely have to eat something with it.

Yuck. I have the worst nausea that keeps getting stronger and stronger as the days go by. Blech!!
