Hi All,

I'm in the middle of my first IVF and I'm a bit worried. I'm on 225 of Gonal-F and 75 menopur in the pm and 5 units of lupron in the morning. Well, yesterday, after 3 days of stims I had 24 follies but my E2 level was only 119! Before starting stims it was 33.9 and now I'm really concerned that it hasn't risen more. They kept my meds the same and I go again in the morning to see what is going on. I'm reading stories of women having E2 levels of 400 and more on day 3. Please help!!

Don't focus on it too much, or it'll drive you crazy! As long as it's rising steadily, you can relax. Let your doctor worry about how hight your level is getting or how slowing it is rising. The rule of thumb is that for every MATURE follicle, your E2 level should be between 100 and 20p/ml (parts per milliliter. Don't read too much into these numbers a stress out. It is not good for you, your body and possible pregnancy. Baby Dust.
