hi jennifer i just wanted to say good luck with the clomid how many ml will you be taking and are you doing iui? Is this your first time taking clomid? I just got done taking clomid days 3-7 going fri to the doc i will be having an iui sometime next week. babydust to you

this is my first time with clomid. im taking 50 mg CD 3-7 today is my first day taking it. Im not doing IUI until hubbys SA comes back and we see if his sperm is good, average, or bad and only if the first few rounds of clomid dont work and we want to increase our chances, but it wont come to that because im going to be a + OPK and then a +HPT this cycle =) wish me luck! woohoo im excited. i have a follicle screening with Dr. at CD 12, and we will go from there. baby dust to you too. why are u doing IUI also? how many rounds of clomid have u taken?

Jennifer.. congrats on the Clomid hun. I would deff take it at night so u dont get all the side effects.

Best Wishes Jennifer. The Clomid will work well for you. It worked great for me, but it doesn't help to ovulate if the tubes are blocked. Keep us posted!

Today was CD 3 and I took my first pil of clomid. About 2 hours later I had hot flashes like mother!! and I was dizzy a little and just felt... weird. But it faded quickly and by 4 hours later I didnt notice anything different. Im glad I handled it well. I hope it stays that way and doesnt get worse as I keep taking them. I am feeling extremely positive about all of this. Taking clomid has given me true hope for the first time in years =)

Im really curious as to when some of you ovulated when you took clomid 3-7 in ur cycle. this is my first cycle... and DH will be out of town all month except for CD 19-22 so what are the odds I'll be ovulating then????

i really dont want to waste a perfectly good month of clomid. im so upset.

OK ladies u know me normally I am so so happy and positive. Idk if the clomid, or if AF is getting to me but im so depressed today... and I got news that DH will be working in Iowa for 10 days, then home for 4, then leaving again. I'm so so upset. I Need some words of advice and encouragement, its too soon in my cycle to be feeling negative! please help!!

what are the odds that if we BD only CD 19-22 that we will hit ovulation??

Jennifer.. I took Clomid on 3-7 and I didnt O until CD18 so u can still be in the loop. U will usually ovulate about 5-9 days after u take the last pill so lets hope that u O be4 ur DH leaves.

hey jennifer how long is you cycle i did clomid 3-7 its usually on 32 days last month i o on cd16 i go friday for a sono so im thinking by wednesday i will o that would be cd17 on 36 day cycle so its different with everyone take the o test everyday after you go for your screening i know at times its hard to stay positive but you have so much to look foward to it will all work out the clomid can make you a little depressed but keep telling your self in the end its going to be worth it babydust to you

i know its worth it. but he's on this job for 8 weeks. so he leaves next monday for 10 days will be back when im on Cd 19-22 then leaves for 10 more days, that keeps going for 8 weeks so he will be gone for october too... only home for a few days at a time. im so upset. i feel like im wasting my time and money and... my hardships lol. idk what to do. WHY bother taking clomid this month or next month?! ugh they only give it to you for 6 months, so that means basically I only have 4 months to get pregnant on it b/c sept. and october are screwed!! OMG idk why but i could just cry right now

I'm really sorry, but stay calm. I've taken several rounds of Clomid, but I took them on CD

5-9. You should ovulate 5 to 10 days after you take the last pill, so there is a good chance you might miss it. Is there any way you can visit your hubby for a few days? When my friend and her husband were TTC, her DH was out of town and he talked to his boss and told him the whole story and they flew him home for a few days. I know you probably don't want to tell everyone, but that may be an option. It worked for them and they got pregnant that same month. Stay positive though!

well i highly doubt they will fly him home for that. its construction type work and the job has to be so far completed every day, yada yada. but im in ohio. Iowa is like a 13 hour drive, i have work and school that i kind of can't miss... i think im just going to keep taking the clomid and hope for the best. he'll be home CD19, so maybe i wont ovulate until like 18 19 or 20, u really never know it all depends on how my body reacts to the clomid and if my follicles grow and how fast they grow... but if october rolls around and i find out when ill be ovulating and he wont be here for it, im pretty sure im going to fly out there and suprise him =) just take 2 days and get away... and BD, then fly home. but thats a big deal and as bad as i want to do it, idk if i will... ive never done anything like that before so it would be an adventure thats for sure. and DH would be so mad if i spent money on a plane ticket without telling him.... so idk ive gotta give that some thought.

but lets hope i hit ovulation this month and i dont have to worry about all that =)

That's probably a good idea. A surprise trip in Oct. my be just the trick yall need. Yall will decide what to do though. I hope everything goes well. Keep us posted!

Hi Jennifer! My DH and I have been TTC for 19 months now. I am also on my 1st round of clomid and today is CD 5 for me. I am also on 50mg and take clomid from CD 3-7. My DR is also giving me Estrogen and Prochieve 8% though. I was given a chart and told I should not BD for the first 10 CDs and then for 6 straight CDs...I hope this work..It doesn't seem like anyone else on here has taken clomid, estrogen and Prochieve. I'd love to be cycle buddies if you are interested!

Jenn maybe you can look into having some samples of DH sperm frozen. Good luck!!!!!!!

haha what would i do just put have him do his thing and then put in the freezer lmao. i dont think ill do that, its an idea but i will ask my Dr first. its not the end of the world if we miss O the first 2 months, my Dr will give me clomid for 6 months so i will be ok. this is happening for a reason i just dont kno what it is yet =)

ttc1 that would be amazing I LOVE CYCLE BUDDIES. helps me out so much =) how is ur body reacting to the clomid? Ive had hot flashes and been feeling... a little off lately. Nothing too bad, Im just very tired, kind of depressed at times, cry easily. Hot flashes for a few hours after I take it. Tonight I got dizzy and felt a little sick but idk overall it hasn't been too bad =)

Do you ovulate on ur own? Have u had DH SA tested? Baby dust to all of us =) And please pray that I get a late Ovulation this cycle, Its soo important that I don't O until cd19... its possible =) wish me luck girls...
