Will stopping progesterone at 10DPO cause me to miscarry if im pregnant?

It might if you did ivf. The egg retrieval can mess up the follicle and lower its progesterone out put. (I think it is called the yellow body and it produces the progesterone until placenta takes over at I think 10 weeks. OBVIOUSLY I would ask the doctors to commment. Did you do IVF? Are you seeing an RE or Obgyn? Did they prescribe it? Stronger syptoms are good BUT I would check with doctor depending on your case. It may be ok and may not be ok. I didnt do any IVF or anything. My OB has given me 3 months more of naturally trying until i go on clomid. She told me to take the progesterone for 10 days after O, but didnt say anything about what to do if i conceive (well, she doesnt even think im ovulating...). I had a miscarriage almost 6 months ago, and have been TTC ever since. I will take a HPT in the morning, which i guess will be accurate (13DPO), and decide what to do from there.

I am surprised you were told only 10 DPO...You should take it until you get a HPT to confirm neg.....bc if you really need it then you will have to take it until 12wks......

To be honest, im not exactly sure why she prescribed it for me. After my miscarriage my cycles have been reasonably regular, though one was about 8 days longer than normal (im usually around 30 days after this m/c, before m/c i was regular for 4 years at 35 days), the bleeding was very light and lasted 4 days. The last cycle was 30 days, but i bled for 10 days,and quite heavily. I had a - HPT, so it wasnt a m/c.

I assume she prescribed it to regulate the cycles, but i really dont see why. I had an U/S at CD10 and it showed 1 follicle of 10mm and a 'very thin lining'. She said it was likely i wasnt ovulating, or the eggs were not mature, and the lining is not good enough to support a pregnancy. I normally O on CD 16-20, so im really not sure what to think.

If my problem is not releasing estrogen to build the lining and ovulate, then why not put me on that,and not progesterone?? Will the progesterone help regulate my estrogen levels??

You need to look at how many days you have between the day you ov and the day you get AF. This should be close to 14 days no matter how long your cycle is.....At first I had 28 day cycles but I only had 8 days from O to AF, so they put me on progesterone to make that last 14 days. If your lining was thin, then that is why she gave you the progesterone--it helps to thicken the lining. But she should have told you to take it until a -HPT..... If you are having a problem with estrogen then you should take something like clomid earlier in your cycle....Has she tested your blood for estrogen and progesterone????
