I am on a 10 day clomid cycle from CD3-12 on 100mg. Today is CD15 and my u/s showed I had 9 follicles biggest being 11mm and rest are around 8 or 9mm.

I have been called for another u/s five days later. Do you think I would have bigger follicles by then? I mean today is just the third day after the last pill of clomid and the biggest follie is 11mm....any hope?

My trigger shot is based on the size after five days from today.

Note: I am late responder to clomid, I ovulated on CD26 last cycle when on 100 mg from CD5-9.

yes, they will grow. My doc doesnt even have me come in until 4 days after the last pill. I had a 14 on day 10 and it was 17 two days later. A follie will grow 1-2mm each day even after the trigger is given. They will give you the trigger when the follies are mature. Each doc is diff as far as when they think its mature. My old RE would trigger when the biggest one was at 18 or 19, the new RE wont trigger until 20 or 21.

wow...this gives me hope. I still have five days for the u/s....will keep my fingers crossed.

I think my RE wants at least 18-20 for the trigger. I hope I get that.

just had 2 back to back IUI's this cycle but only 1 follie. Nice big fat one tho so hopefully its the magic one and this one sticks

I just had the HCG for the first time this cycle. I too am on 100mg of clomid. My dr had me come in on cycle day 14 for an ultrasound. They said I only had 1 follie, but that it was 18mm so they gave me that shot. This was Jan3. So here I am 12 days later and I have a slight + on a HPT. I am thinking it is leftover from the shot. My doc says if I am not pg in one more cycle that she wants to go to IUI.

12 days the shot will be gone. That is a true bfp and u will see that tomoro if u take another test cuz tthe line will be darker.

The doc will tell u to wait two full weeks from trigger just to make sure but even if ur body metabolizes slowly it's gone in ten days
