Will I get my period while taking Dostinex?

Dostinex is given when one either has milky breast discharge and/or a high Prolactin level. Sometimes, these can keep one from ovulating and thus from having a period.

If one is taking Dostinex for this reason, then first things must normalize before ovulation can occur and only then will one be able to have a period

Is there an average on how long this would take?
