Its a condition where the uterine lining cells are found outside the uterus. When harmonal changes occur during the cycle, instead of only the uterine lining undergoing changes, these extra cells are also influenced causing issues like severe pain, infertility etc.

Many women get pregnant with Endometriosis, just with a little extra help. You have to start seeing a fertility specialist for this to ensure your fallopian tubes are not damaged, if there are any adhesions have that removed via laproscopy, if needed be on treatment to remove the endo surgically and then start TTC. Depending on the severity, pregnancy may be super easy to achieve or slightly difficult. Good luck!

Did they diagnose you through laporascopy? Surgery is the only way to confirm you have endometriosis...without it, doctors can only speculate based on symptoms.

ok...well you don't have to worry about never conceiving but there's always a chance it will be more difficult. I have severe endo. My uterus is fused to my colon and I have one 3cm cyst on my left ovary. Thankfully my tubes are clear though and I had a very large cyst (7cm) removed back in February.

Both my gyno and my RE don't think there's anything major preventing me from conceiving. I just had my second IUI two days ago so hopefully it will work :)

don't give up and babydust!
