wierd period after delivery

I had my 1st period 11 W. I am now on CD 17 and the period I had 17 days ago was regular full flow, no mistake in that.
Been crampy last few days and On CD 16 and CD 17 I have red blood(but not full flow) and its similar to what I have on CD 1. Is it possible that something from the child birth is still inside there? Or is it normal to have periods like this after delivery? within 20 days?

Retained products of conception is quite uncommon (although I have seen this, but rarely)...Usually, it's simply your pituitary is basically "jump starting" back to normal, cyclical monthly flows
Even so, unless you know you ovulated, One of these flows may have been an atrophic, anovulatory bleed...but soon enough, you'll get your cycles back

Meghan, I did call, and the nurse ordered a Beta coz I told her I had unprotected sex once CD 11. Well I didnt take the beta coz I know better now :)))) 6 days after unprotected sex, I can be preggo only in my dreams LMAO. I passed lots of clots, Im going to just forget it and enjoy with the baby. Ill deal it all after my vaca.

Ur period is around the corner..THis one Im having now, isnt spotting, its like regular AF, with lots of clots and jelly like thingy. but the nurse did say the harmones are all over the place and will take a while..But NONE of my friends who never had prob TTC, they were B/F and still had 28 day cycle lol. we are the gifted few :))))
