I recently went to the doctor a week ago and had my progesterone levels tested to see if I was ovulating. They called me the next day and told me that I did ovulate my level was 24 and they took boold test to see if i was pregnant and i'm not pregnant why was i not pregnant with this hight progesterone level of 24 and i got my AF .

Hi safiyo,

Progesterone levels are don't unfortunately say anything except that one ovulated :( They don't predict pregnancy..

We hope that you'll soon get a BFP!!

Sry to hear u r not preggo. As doc said ur level doesn't tell if u r preggo it will only say if u ovulated and if ur level is high enuf to sustain a pregnancy if one is acheived. Each month it will be diff as well u may only have a level of 18 and be preggo that cycle.

i have had a level of over 100 and not been preggo. he should not have said that to you - it gives off false hope.

At least now you know that your levels are nice and high so when you do get preggo you will be able to have enuf progesterone in there to sustain the pregnancy!! :-)

I had a level of 57 and was not pregnant. I was told it just meant I ovulated

thank you girls my Dr now put me 50 mg clomid so i hope i get my BFP this time were you girls taking clomid with your high level of progesterone i was not on clomid .
